I am extremely glad I found Marat on Yelp. I bought an older knowing that it needed an upgraded electrical panel (the one from the seller was recalled). I called Marat, told him I wanted a 200 electrical panel, and he was able to quote me with an excellent price by seeing a picture via text of the existing electrical panel. Given that it was my first time buying a home and not knowing anything about permits and the procedure, Marat walked me through it. He advised that I needed to call LADWP to schedule an appointment with a tech who would mark the spot of the new meter. He then said once there is a meter spot, Marat will get to work --and he did immediately after I got the meter spot. In fact, Marat was there the next day! He worked on the panel for a couple of days, along with his son, and once he installed it, he took care of scheduling the appointment with LADBS. Since I saw how excellent Marat was as an electrician, I also had him install recess lighting in the living room, hallway, family room, and kitchen (amazing job) . I had him install 5 hardwired POE cameras throughout my house. And I also had him check all my GFCI outlets throughout the house and had him replace the ones not working. Marat is not only the ultimate professional who excels at his craft, but he is also very nice and easy going. I highly recommend him for any electrical job. read more

I couldn't be more impressed with MH Electric. A routine outlet replacement turned into a nightmare when it knocked out power to my kitchen and adjacent areas. The setup was an older, commercial-style metal box with multiple conduits and confusing wiring that had me completely stuck. Noro and Varuzh arrived right on schedule and got straight to work. Within minutes of toning the lines and testing the circuits, they pinpointed the exact issue, made clean, safe connections, and had everything working perfectly. They were professional, efficient, and took the time to explain what went wrong without trying to upsell me on unnecessary work. Fair pricing, excellent communication, and true master electricians. Thank you, Noro and Varuzh--you saved the day! read more

Serj did an outstanding job installing my EV charger in the garage, especially during an intense heat wave! He was professional, hardworking, and genuinely committed to getting the job done right despite the challenging weather. It's not easy to find someone who combines technical expertise with such a strong work ethic and a great attitude. I'm very grateful for his excellent service and would wholeheartedly recommend Serj to anyone looking for reliable, quality electrical work. Thank you, Serj, for going above and beyond! read more

MH Electrical came out and fixed my burnt wire at the breaker and now my dryer works, and it was quick. The price was decent.

I needed a 240 volt line installed for a hybrid heat pump and, since MH Electric did a similar project a year ago, I had them bid. The price was competitive (like last time) so they came out and did excellent work. Serge was always professionally responsive to my questions, which I much appreciated. Additionally, I paid with a check, later realizing I overpaid on the amount. No problem -- they promptly provided the overpayment back to me! read more

I had used them before for some light and fan installs, so when I had a big project of having to go thru some walls to reach a room and separate out some plugs onto dedicated circuits + add an ev charger I came back to them again. Serj came and laid out his plan, and I had a quote the same day. I have worked with Serj a couple times now and he is always on time, quick, does a great job and cleans up when he is done. Fully recommend and would use again. read more

I am extremely impressed of the work MH Electric provides. Marat responded immediately to my request for a serious electrical issue in our home and he and his team were able to fix it promptly. Amazing service! He worked hard to solve all the problems we were having and truly went above and beyond with his work. He installed a smart smoke detector, repaired some outlets and lights, and assessed some other electrical issues. He also told us some things that DIDN'T need to be done like I had thought, so it saved us a lot of money. Would definitely recommend! read more

We recently hired MH Electric to install a Tesla charger in our garage, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Marat and his team were professional, punctual, and took great care to make sure the installation was done cleanly and safely. They walked us through the process, answered all our questions, and left the work area spotless once everything was complete. What really impressed us was the level of follow-through. When it came time for our city inspection, Marat was courteous enough to come back out at the scheduled time to meet with the inspector. He patiently answered all their questions and made sure they could see every part of the installation clearly. That extra effort made the whole inspection process smooth and stress-free for us. It's rare to find an electrician who combines technical expertise with that kind of customer care. We truly appreciate Marat's professionalism and dedication to doing things the right way. If you're looking for someone dependable and detail-oriented for your electrical projects or EV charger installation, we highly recommend MH Electric. read more

MH Electric did a fantastic job on our project. They installed a number of new outlets and switches, relocated junction boxes, moved a light fixture, and repositioned several outlets and switches - all done cleanly and exactly to plan. I'm very detail-oriented and provided specific directions throughout the project, and they followed everything perfectly. Marat was great with communication. The work was neat, professional, and done right the first time. I'd absolutely use MH Electric again and highly recommend them. read more

One night we were using our electric oven and there was a sudden pop and spark from near the outlet, and the oven stopped working. We reached out to MH and they were able to come within 48 hours to take a look. Serj was very nice and found the issue where the connector to the oven had melted. He fixed the connection and got it up and running within half an hour. Reasonably priced too. Would recommend! read more

Very prompt and professional. Price was about what we expected. Would definitely hire them again.

I called MH Electric early this morning about a buzzing outlet, and they were able to send out someone in a few hours. That was not only great, but a huge relief! Serj texted me on his way here. He arrived early (always a plus), and got right to work. He was polite, friendly, and quite knowledgeable. He worked fast and finished within 20 minutes. He cleaned the area well. The price was very reasonable. I was very satisfied with the whole experience. I'll absolutely be calling them again for electrical issues in the future! read more

Polite, honest, and competent electrical service. I had a very good experience, and feel comfortable calling on them again in the future.

I hired MH Electric to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage for my plug-in hybrid, and they did a great job. I had a ton of questions and needed to do some research, and they answered everything patiently without pushing me. They were upfront about their availability, which was super helpful, and their price was fair. I went with the outlet instead of a hard-wired charger, and they used high-quality (safe) materials to run from my sub-panel to the new outlet. They sent me a copy of the city permit before the job without me asking and scheduled the inspector right after. The inspector found a small issue, but MH came back fast, fixed it, and got the inspector to sign off quickly. The whole process was easy and professional, and they cleaned up my garage before they left. My hybrid charges fast now, and I'm happy with their work. Definitely recommend Marat and his sons! read more

MH Electric demonstrated true professionalism. They provided the most reasonable quote, based on an actual visit, and clearly knew what needed to be done--avoiding any unnecessary hassle. For our recessed lighting, they worked efficiently with the existing holes and carefully managed the lining without cutting the ceilings unnecessarily. Communication was effortless, and they had the right mix of skill and charisma. Even with our extra-high 20-foot ceilings, they handled the job flawlessly using scaffolding and ladders. Absolutely amazing work. read more

Used to be a great company and provided great service! Recently they've jacked up their price and they "cough it up on inflation". Tried to change just one outlet and Serj said it's now 750$. Loyalty is not a word they can grasp. Called another electrician and he charged me 100$. I said what inflation, the outlet costs 25$ on Amazon. Apparently labor is now 4x as much. They used to be a reliable and honest company. Now you get a quote, check with other electricians. You can get the same work done with 1/3 of their price. read more

LOVE this company. The owner, Marat, is knowledgeable, accountable and honest. He also added something to the job that could pay dividends in the future and it cost me next to nothing. I was struggling to find a GREAT electrician for 5 years. It sounds cheesy, but my search is over! read more

Had an appointment scheduled for a Thursday , checked in with the team and found that it was not put on the schedule by accident. Team from the office apologized and had some out the next morning early am. Having a construction background myself, I know these things can happen and appreciated the transparency and the expedited service. Service itself was straight forward and great. Tech and I walked the house and I pointed out all the work locations. Left him alone and he came to me with specific questions or show the work had been completed and tested.
