We had a great experience at ES Tea! The staff was pretty smart about the coffee and bubble tea and the entire menu exactly. Great recommendation, too. We were greeted right away we enter the place, warmly. I got the Messy Brown Sugar Boba, and that was a blast. So tasty, the sweetness was just right, and the Boba's chewy texture was so good! We also have mango and matcha snow cream, which I totally recommend trying; they are so good. The place was pretty decent but so cozy. We were sitting outside while enjoying our drinks, and that was a pretty good time and experience. I totally recommend this place to anyone. The Bubble Tea is my town! read more

Jasmine Milk Tea: creamy, floral, and smooth with a hint of sweetness that makes this a more complex and deep flavor. Top notch and better than any you can find in the valley. Vietnamese Ice Coffee: (wife's opinion) strong, hazelnut notes, and subtly sweet that hides behind the coffee. Could do with a sweet cold foam or a bit of condensed milk and it would be perfect. This is for the coffee lovers! Parking is decent and the interior is spacious enough for simple tabletop. My wife and I played some MTG and the table size is perfect! In terms of notes for the drinks I wasn't a fan of I'll simply say the sweeter variety fruit drinks (tea/slushies) didn't hit the mark as I found them light on flavor/sweetness. Today there was a hint of savory garlic on the pastry, and that added a nice flavor accent. Today's sweet pastry was an open-faced tart filled with a smooth, light chocolate base, topped with creamy custard, and then sliced pears on top. Mmm. I like the choice of pears offering a hint of the autumn season ahead. The last time we had out of town guests staying with us, we took my them to Le Herisson one morning. They fell in love with the food and the sweet, simple ambiance. The next morning, my sister-in-law got up early and went back over, bringing back a box of pastries for everyone to share. That definitely tells the story of how much everyone enjoyed the food offerings. It's a special treat to have a quality bakery like this in Simi. We prefer it to another well-regarded bakery on the west end of town, which is a different style and more expensive.
