About 30 minutes before closing, the location looked completely shut down, to the point my wife and I genuinely thought everyone had already left. A few minutes later, an employee with a large beard came outside already seeming irritated and mumbling under his breath. He told me where he wanted the trailer parked, but after I put it where he directed me, I couldn't get my truck out. I was simply trying to understand what he wanted me to do, so I called over, "Boss, I still can't get out of here." He immediately started yelling at me instead of just walking over and explaining how he wanted me to maneuver the truck. The situation got heated, and I apologized for my part in that. Unfortunately, even after I apologized, he continued being confrontational and repeatedly told me, "I work here. I do this every day," which had nothing to do with the fact that I was simply trying to understand how I was supposed to get my truck out. I've been a repeat customer at this location, but after this interaction, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Management should seriously address the way this employee communicates with customers because the entire situation was completely unnecessary and could have been handled professionally from the beginning.

So good communication from everyone about rental status and I appreciate that. Move-in day was easier than I expected - I downloaded the app and could open the overhead access door remotely. That worked nicely and is convenient to pull my car right in. I found the unit to be reasonably clean and the motion sensing automatic light inside the unit is bright enough to see everything as I got organized and locked up. Talked to the owner's son, Reece, and he pretty much gave me the same song and dance and said he's been there 10 years and they get broken into all the time, but didn't have the good sense to install security cameras. "But we do have them at our other facility", he said. Finally, I reached out to the owner, Will, who answered the phone and promptly hung up when I started to explain to him what had happened. Later they claimed it was due to their "System Updating" and customer be damned. Tough luck if you drove out to your locker that weekend and could not get in. If the electronic entry was out for a weekend of updates, why not inform customers about the inconvenience before it happens? Lie?
