Our key criteria for selecting a space were location, cost, size of space, climate control, and ease of access. This location of StorTropolis had it all! Signing up was extremely easy and quick! They offer month-to-month pricing options (love the flexibility!), and we got a great storage bay that has super easy access! They have large dollies on site for you to use, which is really handy in not having to truck around your own each time you arrive! Maybe my favorite thing is that they have a large, interior loading/unloading dock that you can pull into so that you can use your space any day - no matter the weather!

Two months into the lease period my monthly rate was doubled and they had been charging me for both insurance and the smart sensors. I can understand the mistakes and errors can occur but the worst part of this is ther is not anybody onsite (Scott) who says that they can help or provide a refund. Scott gave me the name of Ashley who supposedly could help but has kept telling me they are looking into my issues but no refund has been offered yet. To make matters worse the just increased my rate to over $300 6 months in to the lease. I would not recommend Storetropolis especially the Lenexa location. Bad value, awful service

They've consistently gone above and beyond to accommodate us and helped us save money along the way. The facility itself is very new, spotless and free from pests. I often see the staff sweeping, emptying trash cans, or walking the premises. The lighting is great and the door access control works without issue. Cameras appear to cover every angle and the climate-controlled areas maintain a consistent temperature with no humidity issues. Access is provided through multiple wide doorways with spacious elevators providing access to the upper level. The facility provides various flat moving carts that are conveniently stored just inside the doors. The loading/unloading area is well-lit and very close to the doors. Getting signed up is super easy. The paperwork process is quick and hassle-free with no hidden fees. **Pro Tip: Get your rental started by starting your rental via their website for the best price and to take advantage of their move in special. The pricing is very reasonable and a great value. A clean facility, robust security, and amazing staff--I feel like this is the best storage option in Overland Park!

I especially love that I can text with someone. That little convenience alone has made my life easier. One side of the property has been repaved and looks great. Some of the other roads around the units are still a little rough, but I like this place enough that I'm perfectly happy just hoping they get around to fixing those when they can. It's a pretty minor complaint compared to everything they do right. What really makes this place stand out to me are all these little personal touches. It is Feb. 2022, now. I had left a voice mail and I received a follow up call the next day about having 2 units available. She held it for me since I was first via a voice mail. The place is clean. Never a line. (The New Yorker in me loves this!) The place is easy to get in and out via the gate. You receive a key and a magnetic key for opening the gate. Only once have I had someone come down the lane I was in while dropping off some stuff. I backed out, which wasn't hard. This place is right by Clinton Lake. You can park boats, trailers, campers in addition to different size storage units. If you want easy, affordable and clean, this is your place to go.

And last but not least, the best part of this specific location is the owner/manger, Matthew! Matthew is not only knowledgeable but he has some of the best customer service I've ever seen. This guy truly cares about the quality of his units and helping his customers find the best storage solutions at the best rates.
