No access to the gate I immediately called and got nobody. This lady is the world's biggest KAREN....... I go in with cash to make payment 30 minutes ago. When I ask about why she locked me out she KICKED ME OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You all, do your homework. I have email proof of what she's done. For me, the law is black and white here. My agreement states I have until the 10th to make payment before being denie. This place doesn't care if your parents have died. All I have left of them is in there due to moving. I thought I found a safe place until I am settled. What a lie... For me, I attorney up. Do your homework and please dont use this place. Most people are paid bi weekly!!! The prices feel reasonable, I feel safe here, and aside from some rough spots in the pavement, I don't have any complaints. Management has been exceptional. I especially love that I can text with someone. That little convenience alone has made my life easier. One side of the property has been repaved and looks great. Some of the other roads around the units are still a little rough, but I like this place enough that I'm perfectly happy just hoping they get around to fixing those when they can. It's a pretty minor complaint compared to everything they do right. What really makes this place stand out to me are all these little personal touches. The office area is decorated and actually feels welcoming, there are flowers around the property with cute decorative signs. It just feels like somebody genuinely cares about the place. I'm really happy I found them!

They had the equipment I reserved and it was always in good working condition. Checkout and checkin were easy and the staff was always friendly and helpful. The coupon stated the following "Choose Between Two Options *$11 for one month of storage (up to a $116.95 value) or *$39 for three months of storage (up to a $350.85 value). For both options, customers may choose between 10'x10', 10'x15' or 10'x25' units. I called the company to use my coupon for a 10'x25' storage unit. The manager told me that I could only get a 10'x10' storage unit as this was the only size available. I asked if I could get two of these at the same price as this would equal a 10'x20' size. The manager stated that I would have to purchase another Groupon coupon if I wanted more space or for me to contact Groupon for a refund. At this time the company has sold 50 of these coupons and is offering only the 10'x10 size unit. This is a classic example of what I consider to be a bait and switch offer. The store manager also stated that the Groupon sale webpage for this offer stated that these units were on a first come first serve basis. This is absolutely false as no such information was stated in the offer. I contacted Groupon and told them how this company had not fulfilled their promise in their ad and therefore I cancelled my order. Groupon looked at the ad placed by Wise Moving Company and U-Haul Center and agreed that the company indeed did not have any such information in the ad stating that this was a first come first serve basis. I received an e-mail from Groupon stating that my credit card would be credited for my purchase. The Groupon representive I spoke to also offered her apology for having been treated badly by this company. I will not be recommending Wise Moving Company as a company to patronize.

Ray the manager sets the bar for the customer service that most businesses are lacking with the personalized service he gives. This company is very lucky to have him as a manager of this property. Rolled the rig up and Steve had the correct pressure gage, helped me inflate all the low tires by bringing out a compressor and generator. Then checked my house batteries and they needed water and then helped me wash the entire RV along with getting all the black streaks off. Way beyond what is expected. They also have carts at multiple entrances which is very handy. The app is extremely convenient and user friendly. You can do everything from paying your rent to remote access to the building. And last but not least, the best part of this specific location is the owner/manger, Matthew! Matthew is not only knowledgeable but he has some of the best customer service I've ever seen. This guy truly cares about the quality of his units and helping his customers find the best storage solutions at the best rates. This is my very first experience with a self storage business, but so far, it has been outstanding! Our key criteria for selecting a space were location, cost, size of space, climate control, and ease of access. This location of StorTropolis had it all! Signing up was extremely easy and quick! They offer month-to-month pricing options (love the flexibility!), and we got a great storage bay that has super easy access! They have large dollies on site for you to use, which is really handy in not having to truck around your own each time you arrive! Maybe my favorite thing is that they have a large, interior loading/unloading dock that you can pull into so that you can use your space any day - no matter the weather!

Two months into the lease period my monthly rate was doubled and they had been charging me for both insurance and the smart sensors. I can understand the mistakes and errors can occur but the worst part of this is ther is not anybody onsite (Scott) who says that they can help or provide a refund. Scott gave me the name of Ashley who supposedly could help but has kept telling me they are looking into my issues but no refund has been offered yet. To make matters worse the just increased my rate to over $300 6 months in to the lease. I would not recommend Storetropolis especially the Lenexa location. Bad value, awful service
