My date was scheduled to make sure they had a light job in the AM, as I told them I had big heavy items. The 3-4 hour estimate turned into 6 and they were unloading until 8:30pm after not getting there until 2:30 vs 12:00 quoted. They worked really hard but were exhausted after 2 big jobs. The truck was packed poorly causing the damage.

They moved my 1bd apt less than 10 minutes away and it took…read morethe almost 4 hours. when they started both movers were working together and had almost my entire apt in the truck in an hour. Then one of the movers disappeared and it took another hour to finish loading the items. I came to find out from a neighbor he was taking calls instead of moving my items. On my time I was paying for. They then got to my new place and took another 2 hours to unload the truck. I have moved many times and unloading is always faster than loading so I don't understand why this took so long. I again think one of the movers in the building kept taking phone calls instead of moving my items. Once I started to unpack everything I notice many of my items we messed up. My wooden bed frame has cracks in it. I believe it was stepped on or had weight unevenly placed on it. The metal weld on my laundry hamper was ripped out. There were tears in my under the bed storage bags that looks like they hooked on something and were torn away. My lamp shades were crushed. They were throwing my bags around and just overall not being respectful to my items or time. The fact it took them 4 hours and I still ended up with many damaged items is frustrating. This was a huge waste of money because I now have to replace several items. They are the cheapest by the hour and still not worth the price. Do not use these movers. I called to inquire about whole house carpet cleaning and got a same day appointment for an inspection. While I wasn't planning on doing carpet repair, there were some areas needed so I went ahead. They did a very good job on both the carpet cleaning and repairs. I had a late appointment but they were prompt and worked diligently. They also charge the cleaning by the room instead of sq. feet. It was my mistake for choosing a light grout but honestly I haven't seen the true color since I laid the tile myself. The grout stands out the most but the carpets looked great. I even had them seal and polish the granite counter tops that I never seem to get around to maintaining while they were here. I always have the intention of sealing them but there always seems to be something else that makes me forget. Honestly it's only been about 6 months but I'm considering having them back cause now I can see the mud the dogs are tracking in. I can't believe I waited so long to begin with. Bottom line: Ed exceeded my expectations from his on time arrival to the detail and professional work he did. Totally recommend this company. He knows what he is doing.
