Our key criteria for selecting a space were location, cost, size of space, climate control, and ease of access. This location of StorTropolis had it all! Signing up was extremely easy and quick! They offer month-to-month pricing options (love the flexibility!), and we got a great storage bay that has super easy access! They have large dollies on site for you to use, which is really handy in not having to truck around your own each time you arrive! Maybe my favorite thing is that they have a large, interior loading/unloading dock that you can pull into so that you can use your space any day - no matter the weather!

Scott gave me the name of Ashley who supposedly could help but has kept telling me they are looking into my issues but no refund has been offered yet. All staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I'm a very new owner of a Class A. Going on our first long trip and needed some help with checking air in the tires. Rolled the rig up and Steve had the correct pressure gage, helped me inflate all the low tires by bringing out a compressor and generator. Then checked my house batteries and they needed water and then helped me wash the entire RV along with getting all the black streaks off. Way beyond what is expected. A friends of ours who suffers from COPD and was recently on the local news due to her storage unit…read morebeing involved with a mold issue. She was informed by management that the mold condition did not however affect her unit and it was safe to enter. However, her daughter arrived at the unit today to find items covered in mold. This facility is advertised as climate control. While many of the items may not carry a large monetary value, many have a huge sentimental value (ornaments, handmade items, etc) as irreplaceable items from her mother and sister who have transitioned from this life. The storage unit is not conversing with her and their site (shows a 4.9 rating) scrubs any negative review they receive (they scrubbed my original review when this first happened). So if you are in or around the Olathe area and need storage, stay far away from iStorage.

Then after 3 months they raised my rent by 25%. I asked then if after the increase if the rate would stay the same for one year but they said they could not answer that. Beware the price increases are frequent.
