They Raise the Rent and if you want the lower rate that they offer, you have to Rent a new one and move all your things out to the new one . Then you can get the Posted amount they offer . I have been there for over 10 years and this is how they treat their Customers ! Since Public Storage bought it , all they have done is Up the Rent of the units nonstop and offer lower prices to New customers Only ! So you have to move your things to a new unit AFTER you move out of the one your in so you can Rent a New one ! Ridiculous ! They will charge you all they can for as much as they can and Corporate will lie to you and not blink! I would NOT Recommend using them .... Before they bought it , they had one of the Nastiest people there I have ever come across . And I am in Customer Service . I HAD to give them a 1 star because it makes you give them at least a 1 Star in order to send the Review . How Desperate can they be for ratings ? That speaks for itself .....

I've used various large corporate chain facilities in town and just thought all storage companies were disappointing until we found this one. First, the staff here is very helpful and friendly. They've consistently gone above and beyond to accommodate us and helped us save money along the way. The facility itself is very new, spotless and free from pests. I often see the staff sweeping, emptying trash cans, or walking the premises. The lighting is great and the door access control works without issue. Cameras appear to cover every angle and the climate-controlled areas maintain a consistent temperature with no humidity issues. Access is provided through multiple wide doorways with spacious elevators providing access to the upper level. The facility provides various flat moving carts that are conveniently stored just inside the doors. The loading/unloading area is well-lit and very close to the doors. Getting signed up is super easy. The paperwork process is quick and hassle-free with no hidden fees. **Pro Tip: Get your rental started by starting your rental via their website for the best price and to take advantage of their move in special. The pricing is very reasonable and a great value. A clean facility, robust security, and amazing staff--I feel like this is the best storage option in Overland Park!

I needed a space to park my cargo trailer for about two months, so I went online and reserved what…read moreappeared to be a suitable space. I paid and arrived the next day, only to find out it was an enclosed garage with a door that was far too low for my trailer to fit through. I went to the front desk for help, but no one was there. I called the number posted on the door, but it was just an automated line. Later that day, I finally reached someone and explained the situation. I was told I'd be charged a $29 service fee to cancel, but they'd "probably take care of it." I was told someone would call me--no one ever did. After several follow-ups, I received a small refund for the lock they require you to rent, but not the full $161 I had paid. My cancellation was being treated as if I had moved out, even though I never moved in. Eventually, I was told I'd receive a full refund by check (not back to my card) within 3-4 weeks. Five weeks later--nothing. I called again, was reassured the check was coming, and was told it would include the $29 fee. When the check finally arrived, it was missing the $29 fee I was told would be refunded. Nearly two months later, I'm still out the $29 and have spent far too much time chasing down something that should have been handled in a single phone call. A little bit of basic customer service or human decency could have gone a long way. Very disappointing experience. I'll be sure to recommend my friends and family look elsewhere.

I started getting calls from "collections" saying we didn't pay a $38 charge, yet never received any emails, or calls from public storage telling us that we had outstanding charges. The prices feel reasonable, I feel safe here, and aside from some rough spots in the pavement, I don't have any complaints. Management has been exceptional. I especially love that I can text with someone. That little convenience alone has made my life easier. One side of the property has been repaved and looks great. Some of the other roads around the units are still a little rough, but I like this place enough that I'm perfectly happy just hoping they get around to fixing those when they can. It's a pretty minor complaint compared to everything they do right. What really makes this place stand out to me are all these little personal touches. The office area is decorated and actually feels welcoming, there are flowers around the property with cute decorative signs. It just feels like somebody genuinely cares about the place.
