No roof, no gate access upgrades, no extra services--just a lonely patch of pavement. When I started? $69.99/month. Today? A jaw-dropping $119.99/month. That's a 71% increase for literally nothing new. They love to say, "Storage is a commodity." Sure... right up there with gold, soybeans, and natural gas, apparently. Except those usually come with some tangible value. This? It's a glorified driveway. And the kicker? Their own website is advertising the exact same spot for $94/month AND a free first month for new renters. So loyal customers? Gouged. New customers? Coddled. If you enjoy being penalized for loyalty, watching your bill balloon with zero explanation, and being fed corporate nonsense about "market rates," StorageMart's your place. Otherwise, skip the asphalt tax and find a business that doesn't treat its long-term customers like walking ATMs.

Colvin My unit was broken into around 12/23/19 because of the broken gate and there have been many others (police are saying around 10) plus an RV... and they mentioned the trailers. I notified the property of the gate being broken on the night of the 22nd and they did nothing, a week later I realized my unit had been robbed and I lost around 10K in tools. The gate was left wide open 24 hrs. a day for over a week. I've sworn to not accept the measly 2K in insurance money and to try and contact the ppl that have been robbed. This is blatant negligence and they should be held responsible... my lawyer thinks there's a case and it would be much stronger if I can get some ppl gathered up.

Therefore, leaving the place open season for the thieves to come take whatever they want. Over 20 reports of theft, in at least two different days including lockers, trailers and anything else the thief's want to steal since the management doesn't want to spend the money fixing their defective gate. And, even though the thefts are related to their defective equipment at Simply Steal My Stuff Whenever You Want Storage, the manager and owner feel they bear no responsibility.
