I notified the property of the gate being broken on the night of the 22nd and they did nothing, a week later I realized my unit had been robbed and I lost around 10K in tools. The gate was left wide open 24 hrs. a day for over a week. I've sworn to not accept the measly 2K in insurance money and to try and contact the ppl that have been robbed. This is blatant negligence and they should be held responsible... my lawyer thinks there's a case and it would be much stronger if I can get some ppl gathered up.

Therefore, leaving the place open season for the thieves to come take whatever they want. Over 20 reports of theft, in at least two different days including lockers, trailers and anything else the thief's want to steal since the management doesn't want to spend the money fixing their defective gate. And, even though the thefts are related to their defective equipment at Simply Steal My Stuff Whenever You Want Storage, the manager and owner feel they bear no responsibility. They want to say, We're cooperating with the police, but after talking to police, that doesn't seem to be the case. It's all about covering their ass. My advice, DO NOT EVER USE THIS PLACE!! (sp) Carrie, Kerrie or however you spell her name is a worthless individual and the owner, is a coward who hides behind her. The guys wrapped everything…read moreand tried but a lamp, coffee table and leather chair were completely destroyed. $0.60 per lb didn't even begin to cover the $3000 I paid for the items, they took $50 off the bill vs me fight the insurance for $120. My date was scheduled to make sure they had a light job in the AM, as I told them I had big heavy items. The 3-4 hour estimate turned into 6 and they were unloading until 8:30pm after not getting there until 2:30 vs 12:00 quoted. They worked really hard but were exhausted after 2 big jobs. The truck was packed poorly causing the damage.

No spare tire on the trailer it was over an hour away. Get the spare on and it about blows because the trailer is not functionable. Had to pay $350 to have the trailer towed back. A 3 hour day turned into a 13 hour day. They put the wrong trailer on the paper work and then changed it to the right one afterwards. Front desk lady was making snobby comments and rude. Then they only wanted to pay for the flat and not the tow. So were out $350 for a trailer that wasn't even drivable with any load. Highly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

They sent me a text to confirm my order and an email the next day to confirm that it would be ready. I called 30 minutes before I was supposed to be there and told them I'd be about 20 minutes late. The customer service representative was friendly and said no problem. When I got there, there was only one person at the counter but three people including myself in line - so not 5-stars. They put me in a 16 year old 24' box truck that, if the fuel gauge was really where they said it was when I picked it up, got less than 5 miles to the gallon on average. For the record, it was only 1/3 full at best. I've rented these quicky B2C trucks before and if I remember they get notoriously shitty MPG. I think a more modern truck would have done better but at the very least, MPG should be calculated into the estimated cost when you order it online - the fuel cost is no small factor.

I would prefer clearer availability upfront or stronger guarantees that reserved equipment will be available at the chosen location.
