She was extremely kind and helpful, asked me questions that helped choose a unit that would best suit my needs. She picked one close to the elevator so I didn't need to walk far, which I really appreciated. I was impressed with the level of detail she provided along with the great move in special rate I received. I was equally impressed when I went in to sign paperwork. The guy covered every detail and answered every question before I could ask it, he was kind, professional & very informative. As for the actual storage, you will not find a more safe, secure, clean and well kept facility. I was extremely impressed with the actual facility and my space was immaculate. Each building contains 2 carts they allow you to use at no extra charge, so I did not need to purchase my own. The climate controlled unit, cleanliness, helpful & professional staff and security are well worth the money. This is the "Cadillac" of storage facilities in my opinion & I highly recommend this facility. This is the BEST storage experience I have ever had, best service and best facility. Finding good courier services is about care - you need to feel like both you and your item(s) are cared for and the job will be done to completion - until you are reasonably satisfied. If that is normal process why don't you send 3 guys? I paid $650 for a move my friends and I had to help with. Mike offered to fix my dresser and give me a check for $65. RIDICULOUS!!! It was very frustrating to see that he won't own up to his error online. I understand social media goes a long way... but to lie and then report as we never did business when I posted my receipts??? Like I said we all have those kind of days; but I would not recommend. Not professional enough for my liking. I also don't appreciate trying to pawn off the bad service to another moving company when I know who I did service with. Erasing one bad review is just like trying to erase history... it still happened.

The movers tried to pack and move as they went and failed miserably. i am sorry if this jumps around, but looking at the mess they caused in our new house and the horrendous mess for the new buyers There were quite a few Items they were told had to go because they were family heirlooms and some the owner (Justin) told me to my face "we will make sure they go". Then when I did one final walk through before taking the keys to the buyer. There were 5 trips and a 7x12ft trailer between the old house (in Shawnee) and the new one (in Leavenworth) to get as much as we could pack in our minivan to get some of the items that were in our family from 5 generations to our new home. That never made it. In all fairness they did move the furniture into the house in the correct room. The majority of the boxes are in the garage, the back office and the kitchen. When the boxes my son and I labeled clearly to go to the front closet half ended up in the garage or office. The kid that was told by one of the senior guys to start packing the book collection, he did he used large boxes that he just tossed the books in. What he did not take into account was there were first editions and some autographed by the author When a supervisor told him to use the bankers box sized ones. He just said he can move them like this. He used a two wheeler and it took two guys to load them on my work bench. I am a disabled vet that has to get around with a cane,walker or scooter and their guy can move them. We had a basement storage room and i went through it with their guy and pointed out what goes. None of it was moved to the new house. There was a large room that they kept a door open so you could not see what was in there and left a WWII era buffet that was my wife's great grandmother had left her. They broke a marble table that has been around for 3 generations and the only thing Justin the owner said was the probably should have crated it nothing about how they were going to make amends or compensate. So basically said oops that sucks. The only reason we hired them was they called right after we talked to our realtor and we thought it was who our realtor recommended. This was a pack and move, not everything they were pack and move was moved. If their packers would have showed up as far as what was in the contract I signed. It would have gone considerably smoother. If you hire them be prepared for the following excuses we will make sure we get that, we probably should have crated that oops, and this was a really hard move remember if it is heavy and you hide it you don't have to carry it out. This was a disorganized Cluster (insert adjective here) and took 3 days of moving and over 7k to do it and no they do not support veterans or the disabled

They went above and beyond getting our furniture moved. They put protectors on door frames, laid out mats and covered the railing on the stairs. Not a scratch to be found in our brand new house. They also had done this in very little time. I could not believe their efficiency along with the care they took. They were courteous and friendly on top of all of that. Moving day was a different story, it was going well until the lead loader received a call saying that they had to pack everything tightly to squeeze another load on the truck and then from that point it was pure chaos. The loading team proceeded to disassemble EVERYTHING and as they loaded the truck parts were not being packed together, I asked the lead about what was going on and he reassured me that the driver (who was not present) and unloading team (from Colorado) were the best and not to worry. My wife handled the unloading process in Colorado as I still had to finish things up in Kansas City. The driver told my wife that an inventory sheet was not necessary as he knew where everything on the truck was located; this being my wife's first time handling a move-in by herself she did not know any better so she listened to him. My wife said the driver was friendly and a hard worker but had no clue where things were located on the truck. The unloading team that Kansas City Moving Storage hired in Colorado my wife said was terrible. After they assembled our dining room table they went to move it without talking to my wife and put a foot long gouge in the dining room floor and just laughed it off. The crew constantly took breaks and towards the end of the day just left without finishing, my wife and the driver ended up finishing with unloading and assembling. I arrived in Colorado two days later and as I was unpacking noticed that our vacuum, few kitchen boxes, and toy boxes were missing. I also noticed a gouge in the wall where the movers hit it with something. Not only were we missing items but we also received items that were not ours, which I reported but Kansas City Moving did not care or return for the items. As I was reading the inventory sheets that were created during the packing process in Kansas City I noticed that they coded everything as scratched and worn on all of our items to include a brand new washer and dryer that I had delivered the day of the move. How shady is that?! I e-mailed the president of Kansas City Moving & Storage and told him what had happened and he never responded. I do not recommend Kansas City Moving and Storage; poor leadership, lack of integrity and customer service. Military from the Fort Leavenworth area do not accept Kansas City Moving and Storage if they are assigned to you from the transportation office. Avoid using this moving company!
