I signed on to use this storage company in July. They don't tell you your rate goes up after 6 months. So you have to cancel and resign on as a new customer to get the normal rate? What? That's bad business. But I am forced to cancel my rental and get a new unit. Makes no sense . read more

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! Been here 3 years. Original manager Jessica was great, very responsive, but she is long gone. Notice most of the good reviews mention her. She was great. They fired her. There are much better, and much cheaper, newer units of the same size nearby for 25% less. Found 6 easily. Use Google. Dilapidated annex unit. If it were housing, it would be condemned by the city. Two different district managers have had to come out with tools to fix door that won't close. Hasp did not close or latch. First one, Jon, said the hardware on inside latch side of door was installed improperly, backwards! Another district manager had to come out in the dead of winter, with snow and ice everywhere, and use a grinder to grind down a part protruding inside latch. I made numerous phone calls to get help that day. Took them 4 hours to show up. Numerous calls to resident manager, who's vehicle was at site of office, went unanswered. Had to call corporate, chat text with corporate, for them to get someone to come out. Elapsed time- 4 hours. Had to sit and wait in car with heat on, as it was 8 degrees. Many times during posted business hours, no employee is there in office, for days. Necessitating another visit there or another location to get help. Even if resident manager's vehicle is there onsite, office is closed, phone calls unanswered. This has been going on for quite some time, since Jessica left. For this poor level of service, and a dilapidated annex unit, they want a 23% increase!!! Almost new units nearby are renting for $159, $161, $165, etc, yet they want $215 for a plywood floored, rattly door unit. Have had chat via their chat option regarding this. Their response, via email, to call them. Very unresponsive and inefficient. I will be moving out to a much cheaper and newer unit. Do NOT choose this location or even this company. I had the worst experience ever the one in Lenexa. Be careful because they were still your shit and I brought home spiders after I got my things out of storage. It's the most ghetto place ever. I gave them an extra key so they can fix the lock which they never even fix after I complain to her three times about it and I noticed some of my shits been missing. They are money hungry fucking thief bastards. I will never go there again on my life. I am so livid right now because I know what I had in storage and some of it is gone. The door on our storage unit was broken. We spoke to the manager on duty who said it would be fixed that week. Next week when we went to check on our unit, not only was our door still broken, but someone had stolen over $3500 work of equipment. It happened within that week that they were supposed to fix it. We reached out to the general manager who never responded to phone calls. This was obvious negligence on their part, but they don't take responsibility. The managers there change like the wind so everytime I call, I speak to someone new and have to explain the whole situation again. We have two units there and they have raised our rental rate 2 times on both units in the last year. And now, the front gate that "secures" the premises has been broken for several months! This facility is unresponsive, uncaring, irresponsible. I would move my stuff, but we have heavy equipment and I'm not sure any other place would be better read more

So thankful that I don't rent a unit here! They can plow their entire lot of snow, pile it in front of your unit door and make it your responsibility to move the snow pile which is crazy!
