I had a recent move from Downtown KC to Overland Park and BushaBox saved so much time, hassle and…read moreplanning in the overall process. Moving is stressful as everyone knows and having boxes that you can plan ahead, expect a date for delivery and pick up with no hitches is exactly what I never knew I needed. James was more than willing to work with my busy 9-5 on site work schedule and find a time that I would be home and deliver the crates. Instead of just dropping the crates off at the front door/lobby, he wheeled all the crates up to my apartment and made sure everything was set. The crates I got are a standard commercial plastic crate with a scissor type hing that locks shut. If you need extra security, the crates can be zip tied on both sided with ties included in the overall package. Each crate holds a good number of items; for a 1BR 1Bath move I used roughly 22. For my move I hired movers to load the truck, drive and unload the truck. They mentioned using these tended to help out and make moving easier for them. The crates easily stack and 3-4 can easily be carried on a Dolly compared to boxes I have used in the past. Each crate has a whiteboard type sticker on the side which made labeling contents/room seamless. Overall, I cannot say any bad things about my experience with the order, drop off, move and pick up. I had a family member out of state that had used something similar last year and after using BushaBox, I don't know if I can go back to cardboard. At the end of the day, no trash left over, I had to return the crates so all my boxes are unpacked and I am supporting a local KC business.

The movers arrived at the appointed time on moving day with wonderful attitudes. Clint, Charles, and Bill were very polite and efficient. My Mom has a lot of stuff, but somehow they made it all fit on the truck and everything arrived safely to the destination. Our original estimate is exactly what we paid, with NO hidden fees. My Mom has a baby grand piano and Aardvark subcontracted piano movers to pack and load the piano. The piano guy was pleasant and on time. When the truck arrived in Austin, the movers unloaded everything into a storage facility. They were very polite even after driving hours in the pouring rain. They arrived early, swept in and just started taking things out of the house. I felt like I was in their way. When my belongings were finally in the new place there was significant damage! My tv was broken, they couldn't figure out how to put my bed back together (it's still unusable), my refrigerator door was severely damaged, and the front door trim was also severely damaged. They offered to "fix" the door and the bed. Horrible job. Door trim fell apart day one, bed is unusable. They offered compensation for either the bed or the refrigerator "you can't have both". I'm not sure why??? The compensation for the refrigerator was nowhere near the cost of repair. After some conversation they blamed it all on one crew met. NOT true! I Witnessed what happened! Plus, I had to help with some furniture! The entire experience was a nightmare. Definitely NOT recommended!
