They worked clean and took the time to explain my system to me, how to maintain it, etc. Looking around my utility room there were a couple other small issues that they were able to solve right off their truck and very reasonably. I feel like I really get my money's worth when I call Pineview and that they are capable of solving any issues that I am able to throw at them.

After multiple phone calls and messages left from two different numbers that were provided to me by the builder (and the phone number from their website) I have yet to receive a phone call back. We are going on almost 2 weeks without a working water heater that is clearly under warranty but we cannot get fixed as the company (RHEEM) is telling us based on the serial number of the water heater, only the installer (Pineview) can complete the repair under warranty. We are beyond frustrated and will NEVER use this company and will tell anyone who will listen about the horrible experience we have had with them. Pineview Plumbing, you are the absolute worst and if we are forced to pay for the repair ourselves, we will pursue the matter in small claims court.

He said to text my address and he can have one of his guys come by the next morning. The technician, maybe licensed plumber, we don't know, we never asked for his credentials came out the next day and snaked our drain and cleared it out, took no longer than 15 minutes to do the job. We were charged $189! I called Dan and asked why the price was so outrageous just to clear a drain and he said his pricing is $189 for the first half hour. And also overhead cost of running a business. He never told me when I was on the phone nor mentioned this on the text message about pricing or service charges. He said it's because I never asked. Dan offered to take off $40 of the bill but we had already paid and told him I will not use his company again and will not be recommending anyone to this company. I do not recommend this company based on the owner not being upfront with customers about pricing and service charge. The owner expects that you ask these questions otherwise you will be very surprised like we were. We love small businesses and support small businesses and a lot of small businesses are great to work with but unfortunately not this one.

Our neighbors had had great service from Fremont Heating & Air Conditioning and recommended we give them a call. John Fremont was able to come out the next day. Although he concurred with some of the problems the previous company saw, we felt he took a much less rash approach to the situation. We did end up replacing the heater (at a much lower cost) because the most expensive part needed replacing and the heater was over 15 years old. But the A/C only needed a $20 part replaced and it was good to go. The work was done quickly and professionally and we couldn't be happier. When that A/C does decide to give up the ghost, we'll be calling Fremon Heating & Air Conditioning to do the replacement job.

He knew immediately that there was nothing wrong with my water heater. He lit it and explained that at some point I will need a new one (it is old). He charged me an extremely reasonable price for a house call, but what I really appreciated was his honesty. He could have "fixed it" and charged me much more. He took the time to explain everything and had the knowledge to immediately know my unit was old, but in working order. I so appreciated it because, as a woman with limited funds and a healthy dose of cynicism from multiple bad experiences with plumbers and other service men, he restored my faith in the exsistence of good people running an honest business. He was not cheap, but reasonable and honest. I will be calling him every time I need any water repair or update.
