Things were great - then got worse: I had no idea Ellie did business like this! Reading through the other reviews, looks like they have a pattern of ghosting customers. We had a mini-split quoted with a $1300 rebate. Rebate would be sent to us after Ellie completed the paperwork, GREAT right? After waiting a 2 or three weeks for the rebate check to arrive which it hadn't, I text her and she said she would check on it. In one text she states that there was a delay in the application but it has been approved. Then another text she states that the check is on it's way. That was the last time she has responded. I've called and text her repeatably and she is not responding and still no rebate check. I decide to take this into my own hands after waiting well over 3 months. After talking to the Rocky Mountain Power rep, she states the application was not completed and the rebate address was addressed to their business address - not to my address AND it the rebate is for $600 not the $1300 quoted by Ellie. I am baffled as to why Ellie couldn't just call me and admit the amount was a mistake - it is what it is, but at this point, I would never recommend this company. The install went great and we are happy with the result, but it cost us an extra $1300 we were not expecting. I am a real estate agent and refer companies all the time. Not this one! read more

Made an appointment for a furnace tune up- no one ever showed up or called. I called, left messages. I finally get a message back saying "I'll find out where the technician is and how long it will be till he gets to your house". I never heard anything back after that. I tried to call and message them again and never got a response. Never did hear again from them. I finally had to call my home warranty service and ask them for a refund. It was very frustrating because I took a day off work to stay home for them to come and do the work, and they didn't even bother to call. read more

Terrible service. Called them through our home warranty. They never showed up or returned any of our calls. The receptionist Ellie is extremely unprofessional and gives false statements to the warranty company. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

If I could give no stars I would. They showed up seemed completely professional and then never showed up the day we were supposed to have all the work done. Now every number we call them on goes straight to voicemail and we will never hear back read more

I wouldn't hire them now even if they were the cheapest in town!! The first appointment they were supposed to be here around 9/1000, had to follow up at 11:30 for status. They said they'd be here at 1. NEVER showed up! I gave them the benefit of the doubt that something may've happened but never got a call. I contacted them two days later asking if they're still interested and they said yes. They were scheduled to come back out today. Again, they said they'd be here around 9. I sent a text at 7:59am to confirm they were coming out, they said yes leaving canyon soon. I waited around till 9:34 asking for ETA, sent text asking and didn't hear back till 10:30 that he had tire problems. He could've given me a call to let me know there would be a delay but once again they didn't. And 1:54 I received a text that the tire was fixed and he was on his way from a. Ogden. At 3:05 I asked for status and it's 4:05 and they've not bothered to reply nor call. Rude, disrespectful and inconsiderate of people's time. 23 years ago I installed a "WaterFurnace" brand Geo-Thermal Heat Pump system while building our home. The system worked quite well and our electricity bill was the lowest we've experienced, despite the fact that we'd nearly doubled our living space. Due to system age and what I judged to be efficiency degradation, I concluded it time to replace the Heat Pump Unit before it failed altogether at some critical juncture. I searched products & sources periodically for over 2 years and finally decided upon another "WaterFurnace" Unit using "Extraordin-Aire LLC" for the installation & service. All hardware has been installed or modified as I'd hoped and functions very well; actually better than I'd expected. My experience with Extraordin-Aire HVAC has proven to be excellent to date. Scott and Ellie not only saved us quite a bit on our initial hardware purchase, but have also worked with us extensively towards maximizing Federal tax deductions, State tax credits, and Rocky Mtn Power rebates. read more

I scheduled a furnace repair through my home warranty, naturally the furnace goes out the day after the cold weather comes, anyway the warranty company set me up with Extraordin-Aire but I had to call them, their outgoing message said they'd have limited office hours, when I was finally able to speak to someone they couldn't tell me if they had a time slot available on the day that would work best for us and said they'd call me back. I had to call them back again to see if we could set up the appointment on the date I asked for and was told that if they had someone in the area that day they would let me know, actually said they'd let me know one way or the other and surprise, I never heard from them. Contacted my home warranty company because I'm not waiting anymore (the mornings are very cold). If you can't schedule and keep an appointment you really shouldn't take the call and really shouldn't work with a home warranty company. Thankfully the home warranty company set me up with a new contractor. Can't really say if these guys are any good because I never got the chance to see them in action. read more
