Philip and Rory just left my home after finishing the install of our new Napoleon XIR4. This entire process was fantastic. Aaron was our sales rep and explained the different options we had and made very good recommendations. He looked at what it would take for the install and was able to print the estimate off right in our home. I loved the straightforward approach without any sales gimmicks. I had been to another fireplace store (to be unnamed, but located in Sugarhouse) and the difference in customer service was night and day. Aaron left us the info and let us know we could follow up anytime. We decided to move forward and we got a call to set the installation date within a few minutes. I was happy they could get to the install in less than 10 days during such a busy time. I received a reminder call on Friday that the installers would be there Monday morning. Nice touch. Even better, I got a call from Phillip the installer at 8:00 Monday morning letting me know they had loaded up and were on their way to my house. I love it when people communicate! Philip and Rory showed up right on time, and before even entering the house introduced themselves and put covers on their shoes. I was very impressed with how polite they were. I gave them a quick overview of where everything was for the install and they got to work. They set dropcloths, were quiet and respectful, and cleaned up after themselves. Couldn't ask for anything better than that. When the install was done, Philip walked me through the setup and how to use the remote on the new fireplace. I had a very frustrating experience with Comfort Solutions this morning. The tech was scheduled at our home this morning between 10am-2pm. We received a voice mail yesterday from them confirming this date and time. This morning at 10:15am, I noticed I had a voicemail from them. I called them back, and the tech said that we would have to reschedule since I had missed our appointment. (What?) He said that our appointment was between 8 AM and 10 AM. I told him that wasn't true, and even if it was true then why hadn't he stopped by this morning between 8 and 10? (I had been home all morning.) He said that they only come on appointments when we answer the phone, and since I hadn't answered the phone they didn't come. So an appointment isn't an appointment unless I answer the phone? I attempted to chat online with someone from the company later that day, but they said they didn't have access to the schedule and couldn't help me. (Why do they have chat then?) Then someone called me later in the day to reschedule because "I had missed my appointment." Comfort Solutions, I didn't miss my appointment. I was home all day - waiting for you. You missed your appointment with me and your technician probably lied to you to cover. Can I even get a simple apology? read more

Consultant was on time when he came to our home to give an estimate and was extremely thorough. He explained everything and helped to make sure we would qualify for the Fed rebate. 3. Estimate was very clear and thorough. The price quoted was the price we would pay including the rebates from the Gas and Electric company. Where other companies gave me two prices and I had to figure out what we would have to pay and then file for the rebates. Comfort Solutions will file the Gas and Electric Rebates for us. 4. When we met Dave, he was friendly, informative and not pushy. Like some sales people can be. He went the extra mile.. a few miles exactly to help us get what we needed and wanted. Our installers Tyler, Jeff and Sabin were professional, aware of our dangers for our age at this time of COVID 19. My daughter had told Tyler he could take his mask off to work, and he thanked her and stated they wanted to keep the initial contact down so there was no health risks. Once they were to start working, he explained they would take their masks off if it was ok with us. We agreed that would be fine. They were very concerned for our health and safety. The men worked hard and they were friendly. They got the job done quickly and efficiently. They did a marvelous job at getting our fireplace in and working with how we wanted it and they did the framing to our specifications. Todd answered my late night emergency call and was at my home at the time I requested. Clair was a great advisor. He helped me choose the right furnace for my home, including the variety of ceiling heights and room sizes. Juan and Devin were expert, professional and courteous. They arrived on time and explained everything ahead of time, so I would know what to expect. Even when they ran into difficulty because of the structure of my house, they found a solution right away and explained it all to me before they did anything. It went very smoothly. I needed to replace two furnaces and two air conditioners that were 20 and 25 years old. I got 6 bids and really did my homework on companies. Comfort Solutions was not the lowest bid but I felt that they understood the job and would be the most thorough. I was not wrong! Comfort Solutions installed a new furnace & AC unit to my home in November. I have to agree with the other reviewers that the customer service you receive from all employees is fantastic and well above what is expected or received from other companies. They were not the cheapest quote but their service and product was far superior for the price. My install took two days (install of new furnace, new ductwork, remove 2 old units, install AC unit), and all four techs that came to my house were fabulous. Todd was very professional and explained all of the possible problems that might be causing our air conditioning to malfunction. He then proceeded to analyze the system and deduced the cause. He explained what had created the issue and proposed options for us to rectify the problem. Todd then ordered the part and assured us that he would return to do the work when the part arrived. Based on the quality of his service, we decided to resign for a maintenance contract. Robert T. and company did an excellent job installing my furnace. It was fast even though they had to get a custom part for my confusing venting. They left the place very clean and gave me a thorough walk through of how my new system worked. I appreciated also that they took the extra time to make sure my air filters fit perfectly. That is important and the people that installed my old furnace didn't do a very good job of it and when they pulled it out it was full inside of dust! I have to be honest comfort solutions was not the cheapest bid that we got, however I am here to tell you that they will get my business every time! Todd saved the day!!! Woke up on Friday morning and the furnace wasn't working and it was going to be colder that night. Called Comfort Solutions to come and fix it. They were booked all day but could have someone come after hours, which was fine. However, they stated that if a repairman completed a job early they could come earlier. Received a call from Todd stating he had finished early and if he could come look at the furnace. Hurray, he diagnosed the problem and fixed it and checked for other possible problems. Paul H. did a good, clean install and accommodated several of my requests for the direct vent location and running some extra flexible gas line for a garage heater. Great service! This is the second time I've used Comfort Solutions to help me update my home. The first was our fireplace insert and the second was for installing a return vent and supply vent in my basement. Clair was extremely knowledgeable about how to set up the venting system so as to insure that heat flowed through the room.
