He explained to me how to relieve the water heater bladder pressure once or twice a year and what to do if I had any issues with the pressure regulator. He is TOP NOTCH ethical, kind, professional and affordable. One of a kind. He was over $1,000 less (and in some cases over $2,000 less) than his competitors. The tech called and said it would be $850 plus $95 service fee so I called a friend who owns a company 150 miles away and said what should this cost to have my unit cleaned . He said $99-$175! ‍ So I put on Facebook any recommendations and got a one man show company that came and cleaned for $99 and no service charge fee. ‍‍‍ I do have to say when I called SOS to cancel my appointment to repair they waived the service charge fee after looking at my scenario so the company does have some good employees.

Very negative side is parts price gouging and almost usury!…read more Initially, the service tech quoted me over $400 to replace a 75 MFD start capacitor for an AC compressor. This capacitor can be purchased for about $35! Later, determined the capacitor was within specification, but the compressor was locked up, so told me he could unlock the compressor with a "hard start", which he did and that unlocked the compressor to get the unit working again. During check out, he said he's keep the price for the "hard start" the same as the quoted price for the 75 MFD capacitor, a bit over $400. After paying and the tech leaving, I search online and found the "hard start" is about the same price as the capacitor, even a bit lower. Doesn't require much of a math mind to figure out the margins they are making and feeling taken advantage of when desperate! Predatory behavior!
