It's drain sensors are broken so it stops mid cycle with dirty water pooled inside. Took my a whole day to trouble shoot it. I was confident he had my best interests at heart. He's recommended to me a few times that I do some work myself (I'm fairly handy) to save a repair call, which he was correct about. IMHO they're simply understaffed and overextended. If you're flexible with your timing, I'd very much recommend it.

Shillion is in his 70's and knows his business, very knowledgeable and energetic. My frig// freezer had quit and he found the culprit very quickly. The whole job took about 1.25 hrs and to my surprise when leaving at 9:30 at night he stated that he'd be heading to the bus. He likes the bus travel and the fact that it costs him little every month. An amazing man, very likeable and straightforward. My freezer/frig is 20 years old and he said if the compressor goes again then it's time for a new frig! I appreciated his honesty and his willingness to work in the evening ,as leaving my food outside in two coolers is a bit onerous to say the least. Also was a very reasonable price!

There are only a few Brother Sewing Machine Dealers on the island, not in my town. So after doing (Google) search, and making some telephone calls directly to the stores in Victoria, I came to the decision that Sawyer Sewing Centre is the best place to purchase my sewing machine; the most important reason being their in-house aftercare support. I talked with Judy at the store twice, and she was great. So we drive to Victoria for a couple hours to purchase a Brother sewing machine, letting Judy know which day I would come in. On arriving Victoria, we went directly to Sawyer sewing Centre. The store has many sewing machines of many makes. Judy was so kind and gave me a demonstration, as well as letting me try key points, on the particular model that I was interested in, and helped me through the purchase process, even setting up the Brother's warranty process at the purchase time. She was just awesome, making the process so smooth and easy. She even told me that if I had questions after I went back home, we can FaceTime to help me. Wow. I enjoyed shopping at Sawyer Sewing Centre so much that, after a couple nights' stay in Victoria, we went back to the store to purchase the task lamp - which has proved very useful after a few days' sewing - and various supplies for my sewing on the way back home. Judy got me all ready to start sewing so on returning home, I have already finished a couple project in one week time. Knowing that if something goes wrong, I can have a knowledgeable store such as this with helpful and experienced staff like Judy in Victoria, I feel so at ease and excited about my new sewing machine. When he finally agreed to ask the repair person to look at it, they found a replacement wired switch for in the handle, and the handle, and sold both to me and the repair person gave me valuable advice on how to reassemble it. I rate the repair person a 5/5 for being honest and helpful and knowledgeable. However, the store is sometimes staffed by someone else who lacks those attributes. They might do better to just close the store on those days. Perhaps that is why the reviews are either 1s or 5s. I was quite insistent and persistent to get to the solution.
