The owner was quick and profesional. My phone looks brand new now. He was very clear explaining my options. I would come back.

The absurdly high rating for this biz had me calling them immediately, in which a young man named Eid promptly quoted $250 to fix it. This was at least $50-75 cheaper than most of their competition. I agreed to it. It's a tiny shop that's next to a gas station. It looks completely run down and if it weren't for the reviews, I'd have a hard time seeing myself here. I was told that I'd be able to come pick it up in roughly 3 hours. Kudos for allowing same-day service. By the time it was ready for pickup, I came in to inspect the phone. I noticed just there are some gaps on the screen but it was responsive. Right as it became time to pay I learned they were unwilling to accept the Yelp check in offer of 10% off and would charge an additional $20 fee when deciding to use a credit card. I went out to get cash and eventually paid. When asking for a receipt, he gave me a piece of paper with some scribbles and largely illegible penmanship. Overall the repair was successful, the price was right, but the inconvenience and shoddy customer service might mean I will reconsider my business if this ever happens again.

Cesar was my technician, and he was beyond kind and helpful. He diagnosed my phone had a software problem stemming from the beta program and tried to fix it. Sadly, my phone died completely during this process, so I had to purchase a new device. I was able to snag the last phone of the kind and color I wanted that they had in stock. While it wasn't the outcome I originally hoped for, Cesar's friendly attitude made an otherwise frustrating situation easier to deal with, so kudos to him!

I knew it was a long shot since Apple doesn't currently offer trade-in values for current-gen iPhones. The manager, Rob, explained they couldn't process a trade-in or return outside the 14-day window, which I expected and understood. What I didn't expect was his comment that "14 days is more than enough time" to make that decision. When I pointed out that's subjective, he doubled down, implying I should have been more diligent. I get that policy is policy. But there's a difference between explaining a policy and blaming a customer for not meeting it, especially one looking to spend more money. Rather than offering alternatives or simply apologizing that he couldn't help, Rob chose to lecture me on what I should have done differently. That's poor customer service, plain and simple. A manager should know better.
