I agreed to it. It's a tiny shop that's next to a gas station. It looks completely run down and if it weren't for the reviews, I'd have a hard time seeing myself here. I was told that I'd be able to come pick it up in roughly 3 hours. Kudos for allowing same-day service. By the time it was ready for pickup, I came in to inspect the phone. I noticed just there are some gaps on the screen but it was responsive. Right as it became time to pay I learned they were unwilling to accept the Yelp check in offer of 10% off and would charge an additional $20 fee when deciding to use a credit card. I went out to get cash and eventually paid. When asking for a receipt, he gave me a piece of paper with some scribbles and largely illegible penmanship. Overall the repair was successful, the price was right, but the inconvenience and shoddy customer service might mean I will reconsider my business if this ever happens again.

I asked if the console had at least been cleaned and was told yes. I then decided to just pick the console up and get the liquid metal replacement done elsewhere. When I came to the store, it appeared as though the outside shell of the console had been wiped down with a rag or something, while the inside of the console was very clearly still dirty. The employee than graciously decided to not charge me for the "cleaning". 2 weeks later, and I was in the exact same spot as I was when I walked into the store for the first time and was told the wait was 2-5 days, rough. The other place I went to get it also charged less for both services and got both done the same day, if you're looking for console repair id look elsewhere than here.

So I used the "project" tab on Yelp to request a quote to see how much it would cost to fix. Ben at Intouch Wireless was the first to respond. Ben did not offer the lowest price but I chose him because of his detail answers and how quickly he responded to my questions. I showed up a few hours later when I got off work. Ben greeted me and was super friendly. He tested my phone before working on it to ensure I was correct about the issue I was having. He told me it would be about 30 mins to finish the repair. He was done with my phone within 20 mins. He tested my phone in front of me to show me it was working correctly. I really like how engaging Ben was and how he took the time to answer my questions and not over charge me once I showed up in person.

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER. I went on a Tuesday in the middle of the day, no wait. This is THE ONLY PLACE to go for phone repairs. First, the service is incomparable. No apple "genius" trying to upsell you for an arm and a leg, no 200-300$ price tag, just fast, efficient, kind service. Mario was quick! He replaced my iPhone 6 screen in less than 20 minutes. When they called me I didn't even realize they were talking to me I was shocked how fast it went! Lauri and Tori were SO FUNNY and kind. We were cracking up just chatting at the end. I have never had such an awesome experience. And it was CHEAP. I opted for a tempered glass screen when they offered because I obviously cannot he trusted with fragile objects but I was still under 115 for the glass and repair and tax. HECK YEAH! I had been putting this repair off for months using an old loaner from my sister but I will never wait again. If you need ANYTHING done, this is hands down the place to go. I am a returning customer, doing business with them for the third time. First two times didnt involve insurance or warranty, when I had to change my screens on Iphones that had before. I am returning to them because they are nice, fast, professional at what they do. So the first two times, they did it at the spot while I was waiting less than an hour. To top it of, they use high quality spare parts, and that's important because if the spare parts are cheap then you would end up having more troubles before you came to fix your issues. N trust me, I had bad experiences with low quality spare parts before I found FIX UR GADGET. Additional, thanks to Tory. She is the owner of all branches in Houston. She comes and helps beyond your expectations. Furthermore, this time I had to come in to use their help again, but it involved insurance. Hey, accidents happen, and no one is 100% safe. I was visiting Houston from NY and I dropped my iPhone. The front screen shattered and I didn't know what to do. One of my friends who lived locally suggested I find a repair shop. I googled cell phone repair in Houston and I found Fix UR Gadget, which was only a few miles from my hotel. I was actually flying back to NY the following day, so I didn't know if they would be able to or have the time to fix my phone. The shop opened at 10am and my flight was at 12:30pm, so I knew I would be cutting it close. I was at the shop at 9:45 and the owner showed up a few minutes later. She took a look at my phone and said they could fix it. Her tech came in at 10 and she let him know that she had a rush order. It took him all of 20 mins to put a new screen on. It was much cheaper than turning it in for insurance and much much faster (it literally took them 20 mins to fix it). Overall I was very happy with the service and the repair. I would suggest anyone who has a broken piece of technology to check out this shop in West Houston. read more

I LOVE this place!! I have broken probably 12 iPhone 5, 5s and 6's and they have fixed them every single time with absolutely no complications. I have been to both the Shepherd and Voss Locations (they are owned by the same person) and both have been equally helpful and efficient. They also are so friendly to repeat customers, often offering slight discounts for repeat business. I have tried going to Verizon and Apple stores, and they are not only more expensive than Fix UR Gadget, but they take SO MUCH LONGER. I am always in and out of Fix Ur Gadget within 15 minutes. Apple store you have to make an appointment, and Verizon usually makes you go through your insurance to replace the phone, which is $150. Fix Ur Gadget has fixed my phones when even I thought they were un-fixable. Before I found Fix Ur Gadget, I tried several other iPhone fixing stores and none compare to the efficiency and cost of Fix Ur Gadget. This is definitely the best place to go for computer repairs! My new gaming PC had been crashing a lot and after a terrible experience at Best Buy, I brought it here. This should of been my first stop! I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome. All the staff, including the owner and her partner, were beyond hospitable. I told them what was happening and within 24 hours. All for an extremely reasonable price! They also organized my wires for no added cost! And when my PC started to experience new issues a couple days later, FixUrGadget accepted the 30 warranty they provided from my first visit and fixed my new issues for free! I broke the screen on an HTC One phone, the replacement screen was going to take about a month to come in plus it was going to be expensive. Ms. Wyona at Fix UR Gadget suggested I contact HTC since the phone was still less than 6 months old. First I called Sprint, they said no it was not going to work because I didn't purchase warranty, but gave me the number for me to call HTC. HTC said "yes" it didn't matter that I caused the damage, it has a 6 month manufacture guarantee. They e-mail me all I needed to send my phone in and get a replacement at no change. Tory, Lori, and the Fix UR Gadget s Crew Are Awesome!!! I had a Tablet that was not working properly, Gave them a call. They picked it up and diagnosed it, apparently the board that reads the sim card was fried. The Next day, it was delivered to my Place of Business. I later called an asked if they could repair it. I wa s told, they could, but it would not be cost effective for me. WoW!!! They not only, picked my Tablet up and dropped it off, but instead of just making money off of me, did what was best for me!!!! I will not ever trust anyone else with my electronics. YES!! Love the service. I recently went to 4 iPhone repair spots to get my aux chord jack removed from my headphone jack on my iPod and they all said they couldn't help me. I found this spot and went in to see if they could help. The technician there took my phone and 3 minutes later he had removed the broken aux chord piece from my iPod easily. So i definitely recommend this shop over all other shops around the Southwest houston area. The lady at the front was a pleasure to speak with as i waited. I went to the Fix Ur Gadget off of Kingsride to fix my iPad because Apple wouldn't replace the screen and my only option there was to buy a new one. I spoke with Daniel at the counter, dropped off my iPad with my name and phone number and was out in less than 5 minutes. He called me within the hour to let me know it was ready to go - everything is working perfectly and the pricing was more than reasonable for how bad of shape it was in. I had a great experience here. I called the day before and was quoted the price to replace the cracked i phone glass (80.00). I was greeted by 2 very helpful ladies. One quoted about a 30 minute wait. I decided to stay and wait for my phone and was out in less than 30 minutes. They were very courteous and helpful. Is this a repair shop or a flea market. They are so aggressive even when you're just inquiring about repairs. All I wanted was a quote and he started to try to do the repair. I went down the street and found a respectable business. And believe me I shopped around. I have been coming here ever since they opened their doors. Having 4 small kids, we tend to drop iPhones and iPads on a regular basis. They quickly change out my cracked screens and help me with technical issues. They are always quick, honest and cheerful to work with. Be aware-…read more I took my phone here for speaker repairs that accidentally dropped a little bit of water a year ago and finally decided to take it here and there were delays along with non authorized fees. I was asked to leave it as they need additional time for repairs. Upon returning the next day, to pick up my phone the screen along with screen protector was broken. The shop didn't cover the cost nor repair it and added the fee for a replacement screen. As I'm using it that night, it felt very hot (overheating) specially as it was charging. When I touched the screen there's a shadow/ghost then an unresponsive screen appeared. I returned the next day and the they preform a hard reset. I mentioned to check the battery since it's overheating and his response was " after so many updates the battery swells" My IPhone didn't have this issue when I originally dropped it off but after the "so-called" repair to my speaker issue along with breaking my screen, additional issues arise. I don't recommend this established because my speaker still isn't fixed, and was charged additional for "screen" repairs that the tech caused along with damages to the batteries. Never had issues with my phone now it freezes and I have to do a hard reset every time it freezes for taking my phone here. iPhone 12 Pro Max.This place is highway robbery.

They will lie to you about how long and how much it costs, and then when they have your belongings, they hold them hostage to get more money out of you. Currently, they lied about my repairs taking 3 hours, and said they would call us back with updates. They never did. We had to call them, where they told us it would take 3 more days. I asked for a refund, and they said no. The clerk is snarky, and unprofessional, and will take advantage of any weakness you show. They tell me there is no way to contact the manager, and that he isn't in the store most of the time. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM, DO NOT GET CAUGHT IN THE SCAM
