We had a really good experience with their service guys and because of an issue, we also had a chance to meet and engage the owner. The issue was resolved well and they are our provider of choice going forward. First - We hired them to come do our ducts and dryer vents for both units (2 of each in the house) and the crew that came worked well. They shared photos of ther before and after, didn't make a mess, and kept a low profile (I work from home). They were really nice gyus and took their work seriously. The issue: They told use that they believe one of the dryer vents was disconnected in the wall and we'd have to pay to have them open up the wall to find the issue. The price for that was high enough that we decided to get a 2nd opinion. Those guys came and pointed out that NOTHING in the 2nd dryer vent was cleaned out (which we paid for) and they access it from the attic and clean out a TON of lint. Seemed like it was solved. For the amount we paid for that, we called ER back and they decided to send the owner out to see the issue. The resolution: He offered to give us our money back (at least to cover the amount we paid the other guys), which was a stnad-up act. He shared his philosophy on business and how he takes the team's work and his integrity very seriously. That's when it got really admirable... WHAT NEXT: He shared his perspective that we should have asked them for more information before paying someone else to do the work. He also shared that despitre the other guys cleaning out the vent (which ER did not do), there was still a clear problem with the vent that the other company did not fix. He took the time to explain it. We agreed that he should open up the wall (and we'd pay) to see what was going one. We' told him to do the work, and we'd pay a fiar price, with or without crediting us for the duct vent they didn't clean. WAS HE RIGHT? Yes. The flex tube went into the wall, but one of the joints came loose and the pipe was 50% offset behind the wall. Half of the airflow was going into the duct to the roof, the other half was venting into our wall! He gave us the price for the additional work and left it at that. I appreciate the "up front' nature and sincerity of the owner enough that we'll be having them bakc annualy for our home. read more

I reached out to ER Air through Yelp and they responded in under five minutes, even while working another job nearby. I explained the horrible experience I had with a different company just the day before, and they were able to come to my place within a couple of hours. They sent a team of three or four technicians who were all courteous and took extra steps to make sure my dryer vents were properly secured and thoroughly cleaned. They had to use a 40-foot ladder to reach the exterior vent between two buildings, so it was not a simple task. Their pricing was very fair and I would highly recommend them. On January 20th 2025 around 2 am the furnace in my apartment made a grinding noise, and things stopped. No hot air what so ever. The outside temperature -26 centigrade, 0r 26 degrees below zero. I manages till 9.45 am, calling the management company, & the strange process to get help. The management company is skeptical of the gravity of situation. Finally they contacted ER AIR. They (team of two) arrived in the afternoon, at scheduled arrival time, good thing, looked at the furnace, did the diagnostics, & went to buy the replacement part. Returned, & went to replace the internal circuit board, which was malfunctioning. And the furnace started up. literally life saving event, in temperatures this cold. It would have been nice to see the original condition of the ducts, and then what they looked like afterwards. I can't give any greater praise for these guys. We have had four people out to address our dryer vent which has prevented our dryer from drying our clothes. The first two charged us without really fixing the problem or suggesting an alternative. George came out and initially told us he wouldn't charge us for the basic cleaning because he knew our dryer had greater issues beyond a basic cleaning. So he came back three days later and addressed the entire issue resulting in a clean dryer. However, that still didn't fix our problem. We called GE to service the problem and George offered to show up at the same time to ensure that the GE technician actually worked to resolve the issue. Previously, GE had arrived looked at our dryer for five minutes and then told us it was the vent. With George present, GE was forced to really look at the issue and we were able to learn that the dryer was properly venting, but needed a new gas valve. George didn't charge us for the extra appointment. If I have any other problems with my dryer or vents, ER Air will be the only company I call. read more
