I've been getting really bad service lately and I'm happy this young man could turn this week around and give superior service! It's simple, I ordered all flats for my chicken wings. When my order came up, he questioned the cooks if they were all flat. At that point I was satisfied and would not have checked, but he brought my order over to me and checked before he handed it to me. I feel bad I didn't get his name because I threw my receipt away. Like the other reviews have said management is non-existent apparently. I ordered a family meal on a weekday evening. I called ahead and they explained it would be 25 minutes. No problem, I arrive 30 minutes after placing my order via phone. I pay at the counter and explain I called ahead. The gentleman that rung me up then called to the kitchen behind and they just started my order. I'm a little annoyed since I assumed it would be ready when I arrived since I called ahead but whatever maybe they just need to bag it up. I take a seat at a table and wait another 20 minutes, during that time the place empties out. I see one other group of younger looking kids come in and they know the other employees or maybe even work there as they hug and chat. They order and get food right away- meanwhile I am still waiting. I wait another 15 minutes- I make eye contact with several employees including the gentleman who rung me up. No one so much as acknowledges me or asks why I've been waiting. Why else would a customer be seated at a table for over 30 minutes with no food? I I finally go to the counter again and ask the girl about my order she replies "oh its right here, its been here for a while." Obviously I'm pissed. Its now been more than an hour since I placed my order! By the time I get my food home not only is it cold but several of my tenders are the size of chicken nuggets. Seriously? I prefer their wings to other wing chains here because of the taste of their sauces (buffalo is my usual), the size of the chicken, and the price of the plates (which come with carrots, celery, and those buttery breadsticks). This location doesn't seem to get as busy as the others I've been to, but they probably have the longest wait out of all. I had to resort to calling in my orders. Most times this meal is enough food for about two days for myself. If you do the math it's about $6.00- $8.00 a meal which is extremely reasonable today. I had made a simple order of one dozen breadsticks. I was told they would be out shortly so I took a seat and waited. When 10 minutes went by, I figured that maybe because it was a larger order they needed to make more... (I figured this also because it took about 25 minutes for them to fill an order of two dozen breadsticks another time). I waited another 15 and still my order didn't come to me or get called. I then went to the cashier after 10 more frustrating minutes. The cashier was polite, I'll give hem that... but when I saw them go back to check on my order, the person in back seemed to simply just forget about it! I saw him pull out the breadsticks from the warmer or oven, put them in a bag and handed it off to the cashier without a second thought. I didn't raise a ruckus and just left. I was given no apology or anything. This was over 30 minutes for an order of breadsticks that needed to just be bagged! Granted I should have said something earlier, as a customer I don't know the status/availability of the products. This was completely unacceptable. Now I'm thinking the last time I came here for breadsticks took so long due to human error. So disappointed. Update: I submitted a complaint online and received a reply shortly thereafter from Sam Sacco, one of the original owners. He took the time out to understand what had happened and addressed the problem at the source. I can't express how appreciative I am to see someone from the top, care enough to handle their customers with care and respect.
