I usually pay no mind to my boyfriend's yammering about good restaurants. Before I met him, the only Chinese food he ever had was Panda Express and he had no idea what Indian food was. Anyway, he swears by Wings N Things chicken. When I asked him what their food is like, all he could say was "juicy" and give a happy grunt. This weekend, we stopped by and sat outside with the puppy. We shared a plate of tenders with garlic wing sauce. The wait, I must admit, was long. But it was worth it. Tenders were succulent and drenched to perfection. Sauce of on point -vinegar-y and flavorful. I burned the roof of my mouth on the fluffy, fresh bread sticks. And of course, the veggies were fresh and crisp. Order # 5281711, $23.33 worth of disappointment, I ordered the 12 pc chicken wings meal and they were not appealing at all, out of the 12 I ate 4 and it seemed like an eternity as though I was chewing through tough meat / card board, no disrespect intended, I don't know if they were under cooked or over cooked or maybe freezer burned wings however there was no appeal with the meal at all. This is like the second time this has happened at this location with the same results however they have their steady customers so their quality may not change. There's more to just flopping sauce on wings to make them good the meat quality should be great and they should be cooked properly. Menu is basic but all the items are good. Beer selection is ok but you can get a pitcher for 10 bucks that's awsome. Staff is always friendly. My only complaint is the layout of the restaurant it small and all the tables seem to be set up so you can't watch the game. I have been going to Wings-n-Things pretty regularly for the last 5 years but that's over. Their food is usually pretty good but their customer service totally sucks! Trying to call ahead to place an order for pick up is like trying to win a contest on a radio show. Prepare to hit redial quite a few times before you get through. When you do get someone they generally give you the impression they don't appreciate your call. Once the order is placed they give you an estimate of when it will be ready. Go ahead and add at least 20 minutes to that. I sat there almost an hour last night while every table was filled and nobody had food. You could see the two cooks staring at the order tickets like deers in headlights. Pretty sure they were totally smoked out. I guess it's time to find another wing joint. read more

Tried this place for the first time today bc I saw an ad for 31 cent wings for today only but it was only 5 wings at that price for each of us so I had to buy a tender meal also. I really liked the wings and tenders. They were both very fresh and good. They also put a lot of sauce which I like so if u don't like it that way u might have to request it. Also my gf really liked their breadsticks too. The only complaint we had was that we had to pay for our ranch and blue cheese separate. After noticing 4 people receive their order after placing mine, I knew something was wrong. it wasn't until it passed 30 minutes that I went to see what was up. apparently they forgotten my order of 5 pieces of extra hot boneless chicken and 2 breadsticks.. they corrected it and offered me an extra 5 and some bread sticks. Some minutes past, and I was already losing my patience.. Luckily I received my order before I was just about to walk out and go home empty handed. Love the tenders, but not so much the wings. I like to think that my girl friend and I are wing connoisseurs, and they are good wings, just not great wings. When I go here, I stick to the chicken tenders meal which is a good deal. Another great deal here is pitchers of beer for like $8 ( I think) all day everyday. You really can't go wrong with that! I love the bread sticks and all the sauces here, I and I swear I an going to try my girl friend's salad one of these days, but for now she gets one with here little 3 piece chicken tender meal every time (so they must be good, because she is quite picky).
