I've been coming to Epic for about 4 or 5 months now. All the staff is sooo friendly, they always do my nails quickly and they start when I'm getting my pedicure which I love and they always look super nice. I do dip powder and typically go to Kelvin but I've had a service done from just about everyone in this shop and I'm always happy with results. It's clean and homey and I love coming here. read more

Went in for my appt in October with my girl that I've been going to for over a year. She knew this was for my wedding and I need these to be perfect, hence making the the appt 1 month in advance. Get there and am greeted by all new people. Lady took me to her table and proceeded to tell me Nina is in Vietnam for an "emergency" and that this lady is her niece. I call bull. I asked her if it was under new management and she said no. Which made me livid. I let her do my pedicure, which was mediocre, cancelled my full set and went to another reliable spot. These people are liars, it's pretty pathetic. read more

Everyone in the salon are so nice and helpful. My girlfriend took me and four of our friends for pedicures on a Sunday afternoon. We were serviced quickly and everyone was happy with their serves. I have been been to Epic Nails several times and will continue to go back. read more

Cindy did an amazing and gentle job on my pedicure! She even got out a few small, painful ingrown nails and I didn't even feel it! Awesome foot and leg massage. Very clean place too and they use liners and are very hygienic. I am new to the area and Cindy treated me like a queen! Also she was very friendly and talked with me. I had an AMAZING experience at Epic Nails today, and cannot wait to book my next appointment with Meli on nails and Bridgette on toes. I saw Meli's work on a customer while working, and got her info and salon name pretty much instantly. I called and booked a week out. The girl who answered the phone was super nice and friendly, and gave me the pricing which was really fair for a fill and pedi. The salon has been around for a bit, but is now under new management. I showed up a little early and Meli was the one who greeted me. She is SUPER SUPER nice, sweet, and has the BEST vibe. It was like just talking to a friend. Showed her a pic of the nail look I wanted and she killed it. Really can't express how happy I am with the finished product. Bridgette did my toes and she was so sweet and did really clean work. I haven't had my toes looking this nice in a minute. She killed the shape. The entire salon has a great and friendly atmosphere. You can tell everyone gets a long, and that's rare. I had been going here for 3 years, even though I had changed jobs and moved across the valley, I still drove to Henderson every 2 weeks for Tony to do my nails. He always did amazing, they didn't break or chip. Then he sold the salon and went on vacation, saying that one of the other techs would be able to do a simple fill for me while he was gone. I have NEVER had such awful work in my almost 30 years of getting my nails done. I have had better student work. When I saw what the new guy had done to my nails I wanted to cry, because I was hosting a large party at my house in 4 days. I did not even bother to show up for my regularly scheduled appointment. I found another salon to remove and replace what was done to me until Tony returned. Now he is at a new salon and they have a new client. Epic lost a lot of clients this summer thanks to the subpar work and complete lack of customer service or care. I will NEVER return. read more

NOT BBB accredited !! The nails they did on friday fell off 3 days after. nail tech told me i should have paid more than $95 if i didn't want that result. TWO nail techs were arguing with a customer while they BOTH were doing client nails. Unfortunately the girl i was working with went from cleaning fungus on someones toes to trying to touch my hand and i had to stop her and tell her go wash her hands. she said "thank u". Now as of 01/23/2020 5 nails have fallen off. As of 01/28/2020, all nails have come off except the 3 redone on Monday unlike Chellz Nails - Black business - in Henderson 8 mins away from them. First visit to this salon. Very nice people [my manicurist seemed to be somewhat inexperienced] and I was charged an additional $5.00 to get my feet scrubbed or exfoliated. The real issue however is that social distancing and requiring employees to wear masks did not exist in this salon. I only saw one employee, who is pregnant, wear a mask for the duration of my visit. This may not be a big issue for some but if businesses allowed to open in Phase 1 don't get it right, we put our economy at greater risk as Phase 2, 3, etc will not happen in a timely manner. In contrast I went to a hair salon today that did a fantastic job ensuring both employees and customers were in a safe environment. read more

I got a coupon mailer and there was a coupon in there for Epic Nail, formerly Trina's Nails, on Stephanie & Horizon Ridge. I never went there when it was Trina's but they were offering 40% off on all services so I checked them out for a manicure. Regular manicures are normally $15, which is pretty average. I called before I came and asked if they could fit me in for a manicure shortly. They took my name and I headed right over. It was totally quiet in there - no customers at the time. Did no one else get the mailer? 40% off is incredible! My manicurist was Kim and I really liked her! She was friendly and talkative and I felt like I knew her for years. She was pretty meticulous with filing my nails to an even length (something I'm obsessive about) and she obliged when I didn't want to cut my cuticles. But I noticed that the sides of a few of my nails weren't polished completely, and that the second coat wasn't layered fully over all of the nails. It wasn't the best manicure ever; it certainly wasn't the worst. I liked that they have a nail dryer. My usual nail salon doesn't have one and it's one of my pet peeves. I didn't get a pedicure but they do appear to have pedicure massage chairs, which is also something my regular salon doesn't have. But I don't think Epic uses disposable liners in their pedicure tubs so, even though the place appeared very clean, I don't think I'll get my pedis done there. A regular mani/pedi is only $35 though, which seems average around here but that's 20 bucks cheaper than my regular spot! The salon wasn't nearly as luxurious or glamorous as my regular place (but then again, none ever are!). Their credit card machine was down and they didn't tell me when I called. Luckily I had just enough for a manicure and a tip. The gentleman who took my call should have mentioned this. I had an average experience with a very nice manicurist. I'll probably go back for a quick mani since they're so close to my home. read more

Tony had the worse manners. Acted very entitled as if my nails and questions were a inconvenience. I'm 50 and have done my nails since I was 16. My husband went in and his feet were burning by what ever they put on it. We payed, no worries. I stopped at this salon while my son was at preschool. It had just opened so I was able to have 2 manicurists working at the same time and complete a gel mani/pedi in about an hour! The staff were all very pleasant and easy to talk to, but didn't bother me with a bunch of questions about my life. I was able to completely relax and not worry about anything for that hour.
