This place honestly lacks better service. We came in and asked if they took walk ins and they said yes. It was 3 of us and we stated we all wanted manicures. They took my sister and started working on her manicure and they asked me to sit down next, I let them know that I wanted a full set and they were acting all confused which caught me off guard. The lady asked me for a picture and took my phone to the back and I realized it was straight bs so I just said it's fine, I'll get just a manicure. They said okay and then proceeded. As she started the lady started to say sorry that they had an appointment at 2 and blah blah which genuinely sucked. If we ask if you have time for 3 walk in's you can say no. While she was cutting the cuticle she also chipped my finger a few times and said she won't cut anymore because she was hurting me. Once they finished, the same lady proceeded to sit down so I genuinely don't understand what the rush was for when 2 walk ins they had were already being attended. Came here a month ago and Phoebe did an amazing French tip pedicure on me. Drive 30 minutes today. Got here as soon as they opened. They were able to see me as a walk in as nobody was there. I asked for a matte glitter pink gel pedicure and also provided a video of the how to. The man cut my toe nail so slanted that I asked him to cut it straight. He did not cut/clean the under carriage of my toe and I had the beginning of an ingrown that he half assed and did not fix. It was so bad that the other man that was working on my friend did the exact same nails and he mentioned to him that he did it wrong and he did not try to rectify the situation. He was not supposed to do a top coat at all. When I brought it up to them again at checkout it was just very nonchalant and like there was no problem.. so not only did I not get what I asked for my toenails or whack and they are not straight cut and this is probably the worst nails that I've gotten. Very accommodating. I called in to ask if they could take me as a walk in on a Sunday before lunch & they were willing to see me. I did a pedicure with collagen mask. The place is clean and bright, a few tvs on both sides of the room for everyone and music playing. Upon walking in, I was greeted by name and offered a beverage. The experience was nice. There was a steamer, hot towels, hot stones, lovely smelling lotion that smelled good the entire day. The nail tech was mindful of my romper and offered me a towel and pillow for my lap. The seats were plush and comfortable. The tub was lined with disposable liner. Very sanitary! I love my nail salon! Glitz nails has been the best nail salon I've been to! Danny is the best nail tech! He is truly passionate about what he does and never disappoints! His designs are creative. Most of the time he just goes with a feeling of an idea! The prices are decent for what he does, as well. He is exceptionally good with long nails. I never break one, unless it's something I've done on my own. My nails never lift and I've never had fungus! I first went to him from a salon and had fungus. My feet were needing pampering. I found Glitz Nail Lounge close to my house. Phoebe was my pedicurist. I got the upgraded treatment bc it's been a while since I had a pedi. She did an amazing job. My feet feel great. No more callouses. Also, she is very up to date on the latest products. She gave me a lot of tips and advice on products to keep my feet soft and pretty. This place was the worst experience I have EVER had. Not happy with the service or cleanliness. He used a dirty brush to brush off my toe nails a couple times? Trying to fix at shape and home and my feet literally smell so bad. I took a hour long bath before i went in and really do not understand what that smell was. That brush was obviously not cleaned and i dont even know how many people it was used on dirty before my feet smelled like this. I had loved my previous experiences so much at Glitz Nail Lounge that I even brought my husband--and he loved it too. Unfortunately, this visit was incredibly disappointing and has made me question if I'll ever return. I never expected to walk out feeling so hurt and disappointed. I booked an $80 collagen bomb gel pedicure with Gina. In the middle of the service, she told me she couldn't do square French tips and called over Danny--who was already working on another client--to take over. Gina moved on to her next client, and after Danny finished painting the French tips, no one came back to finish my pedicure. Several steps were completely skipped, and I was left sitting there with no explanation or follow-up. At checkout, I told the woman at the front desk (who I believe is pregnant) that I shouldn't be paying full price for a service I didn't receive. She said she would only charge me $55 for a basic gel pedicure--but even that wasn't fully completed. Gina actually told her not to charge me at all, but the front desk woman dismissed that and insisted I still pay. I felt completely dismissed and unheard. Out of pure frustration, I paid the $55 and left. I sat in my car crying. When they called me moments later, I genuinely hoped they were reaching out to acknowledge what had happened and try to make it right. But instead, they just told me I left my water bottle. I walked back in, visibly upset and with tears still on my face, and not one person said a word. Not an apology, not a glance of concern--nothing. Not even the slightest bit of empathy or effort to handle this situation differently. I've been a loyal customer. I didn't just feel let down--I felt completely disregarded. No one should have to pay for a service they didn't receive, and no customer should be made to feel invisible when something goes wrong. Not here everything was spotless every disposable item came from a fresh box used clearly on one client only. The options of scents were really different from most other nail salons regular scents which I loved. The summer specials are awesome that's a big part of why I chose to try this salon. I walked in seeking a pedicure today. I was greeted immediately, and taken to my station within 3 minutes. The salon was very clean and orderly. The entire staff was happy and accommodating. I chose the $40 spa pedicure, and was taken care of by a gentleman named Vu. He was so caring and explained everything! Vu fixed an ingrown that I have been dealing with for years.
