TK rushed me out since her next client showed up at her station while she was still finishing a top coat on my nails. I was so frazzled & confused. The client walked up at 3:58 (maybe she should have stayed at the front of the salon until I was finished) - my mani pedi was set for 3. So not even an hour was spent on me AND then TK said, "you can leave" to me after she said hello to the interrupting client. I asked TK, oh I am finished? She said yes. I grabbed my purse & headed to front of salon to pay. TK's client hollered "hey, you forgot your stuff." I turned around to get my jewelry and said it's no wonder I forgot my jewelry since I was rushed out. Three of my nails are smudged. TK didn't have me sit to dry them. Nope. I have seen TK about 5 times for mani pedi. I am a great tipper. I still cannot believe how rudely I was treated and now I have to fix my 3 smudged nails. I won't be back. I sent my wife and sister in law here with a couple of gift certificates and they had a wonderful experience! They both got manicures and pedicures and were very pleased with the quality and pricing. Their nail tech Nhi was very friendly and did exactly what they requested without pressuring them to buy their most expensive packages. The vibe was busy but not rushed, they have a lot of chairs and most were filled but it was still a comfortable environment. I've been with a couple of the staff here, and they're all great. I usually see Judy for my manicures though because she's the fastest and she doesn't make my cuticles bleed. I have smaller nail beds so sometimes it's hard to find that. Definitely friendly neighborhood nail shop vibe. read more

Been to this place a few times, let down by quality of service. For one I asked for gel x service on my nails and she didn't seem to know what I was talking about. She was pushing for me to get hard gel to put on top of the gel x extensions. Which you are not supposed to do, I have been getting my nails done for years. I feel she didn't want to do the work. Which doing a whole new set of gel x extensions. I was just done arguing for what I wanted. Secondly the shape and color are both uneven. Highly unsatisfied! Will not be back. I've always had great success with my nails. The staff has been very friendly and helpful.

I am always grateful for the neighborhood nail salon. I've been going to this nail salon for about two years now and typically just for a pedi with regular polish. Now depending on time, I know what to expect. If I have the time, I will try to be a walk-in and if they tell me there is a wait - I go get some groceries and come back. Most of the time I do my best to make an appointment! If you want an early time on the weekends - an appointment is the way to go. I typically get the deluxe pedicure ($40) and I've never been disappointed. One of my favorite techs is Lulu. She does a great job and when my boyfriend comes with me, she is his preferred tech. I will continue returning to Anthem Nails and I'm grateful for their efficiency and hard work especially during the busier seasons. read more

I made an appointment for noon and showed up about 8 minutes before and had the "look for your color" talk....then as I'm looking, a very high energy woman reminded (?) me twice and finally said "don't forget he's waiting for you". I was sitting at his table at 11:57. I looked because it had become a thing by now. I'm sad. If my font doesn't show it. I took off a new set of nails after 2 broke because it's not fair to ask a nail tech to make someone else's work lovely if you don't like it. It is painful to remove nail tips but I also don't like paying to have someone hurt me if I can do it at home for free. I was SO SPECIFIC. I took pictures ....and explained the one thing I HATE (putting dragon lady tips on my human fingers then looking at me surprised when they file the sides of my nails until they bleed to try and match the tips that don't belong on my normal shaped hands). I watched from my POV as he proceeded to yank and pull on my hands - making some kind of joking gestures and laughing. The nails were brand new and I already hated them. I told him. Twice. "These are much more narrow than I like to wear them"...he nodded and continued. Anyone who has ever had that weird nail tech energy knows the feeling I am explaining here. He spoke endlessly to people around me but barely tolerated my presence as I sat there for two hours. I'm not going to try and explain how my nails ended up looking like Barbie tree twigs but needless to say I have been trying to fix them since I got them done. Not happening. $75 plus tip $15. Ouch. Most of them become mixed with other ones, deff expired or are very old so the gel colors never really match the swatches they provide. I needed to fix my broken nail and get my gel mani cleaned up & filled - I needed it same day so I came in since there were immediate availability. This should have been my warning. I think it was my technician's first time - he was shaking the whole time and had a hard time controlling the dremel. My nails ended up so short and uneven. Probably the worst mani I've ever had. After ONE day the new nail tip is cracked. I paid $40. I'll be requesting a refund. read more

I'm so happy to have a local nail shop I can depend on so close to home! Living tucked away in Anthem can mean that you get super comfortable in your bubble back here. So, I was nervous about trying Anthem nails because, well ... "too convenient?" I've gone here about a handful of times for both manicures, gel nails, and pedicures. There's not a ton to write home about in the realm of service and outgoing friendliness, but they get the job done. Everyone I've worked with has small talk but lets me enjoy peace and quiet while getting my nails treated - being in the fitness world I applaud them for their work. My gel nails have stayed on and I'm a big fan of the tiger eye/mood polish now. I've not had any issues with fungus etc as I have had in other shops. My gel hasn't peeled off and my pedicures last forever. Update to my review 9/15/18: Since much of the staff has changed around, my experience has shifted also. My nails don't get done quite as well as they did before ... even chipping a day after I had a manicure done. I've been going here for awhile and today was the absolute worst. When I called earlier this afternoon asking if there was any availability for a pedicure, they said I could come in at 4:30. I wouldn't have come in if I knew the service was going to be rushed. I got there and the guy doing my service was pushing my cuticles back so far that it was painful. He then used the nippers and cut me twice. So now I'm bleeding. He then used the cheese grater on the bottom of my feet but went too far back and sliced my heel. So now I'm bleeding in multiple spots. And anytime he puts any product on me or puts my foot back in the water, it burns. He also kept slamming my feet down on the rest. Literally everything hurt. even The massage was painful. Not to mention I pod for a 10 min massage and instead I got a very aggressive 2 min massage. Then when he was painting my toes, he kept digging his finger nail into the side of my nails to get polish off. Without gloves. I'm so horrified and I left super stressed out. paid $50 to be stressed and now freaked about infections. Thanks for the bad experience. read more

Nice experience here with my mom the other day. I am pretty sure I got the Deluxe Pedicure which included some additional massaging and the soap scrub. Jenny was the one working on me. She was very friendly, patient and attentive. She noticed early on that my skin was sensitive to heat and was very attentive to all the different elements of what she was doing in my skin as well as specifically the length I wanted my nails to be. She always checked with me before putting the hot items on my skin. I chose the lavender flavored soap scrub. This was nice and left my skin feeling soft, but it was a little rough if my skin and burned a little when I put my feet back in the water. I have very sensitive skin, so I think it was becauseof this and not because she was too rough or anything. She did my nails very well, they look great and there's no chopping so far!
