The most disappointing experience I have ever had as it relates to customer service. As a first-time patient/client, my appointment was scheduled for 5:30 PM. I arrived and was at the front desk at 5:33 PM and was told they could not honor my appointment due to a no grace period policy. Then asked to reschedule. NEVER, with that type of treatment. I was appalled at the lack of consideration and customer service. I went to this place with high hopes based on the reviews. I recommend finding an establishment with a more human approach. I left work and drove over an hour to get there and that is the best you can offer someone? Wow! I sincerely feel sorry for this staff. You are missing business, on purpose. read more

Dr. Tran is no longer the Doctor at this practice. He sold it to Eye Care Specialists. Apparently they were never planning on telling us that it's been sold and you will be seen by an employee Doctor from Eye Care Specialist. I'm sure it was all apart of the deal selling the practice not wanting to lose customers. I was not pleased with my visit. I will be finding a new eye doctor. So disappointed in Dr. Tran for not informing his long time patients of this change. The new doctor is okay. He is not a good fit for me based on a comment he made, but that's my opinion. read more

March 25 brought in my glasses to repair having a year contract told the desk clerk the problems I have had with lens were cheap never seemed to stay cleaned? I had left my request with girl at desk as it is very closed area .which was told that I was rude and unacceptable. Yea , if they would do what they say in their contracts all would be good. Only one eye dr. to see. My first impression was that he talked super fast even when giving your test on which view looks better "1 or 2"? I did mention to him casually upon another visit because I couldn't help but think if my parents or heck, anyone else that comes here is not use to fast talking, you can get lost in the mix of conversation. But hey, we are all different and he knows his stuff just be prepared to follow along quickly. I saw reviews about this office among others that weren't positive so I was a tad nervous. I went with my gut feeling and it didn't disappoint. Staff is thorough about payment and insurance coverage at the start of scheduled appointment. I had to go back 3 times because my contacts that I was trying were just not working. The optometrist works with you on this until you are satisfied. I love that! I will say that contacts are extremely expensive for the year with insurance. I could not afford this up front so I opted for a 90 day supply with our insurance and will buy more when I need more. I personally had no issues and the staff was nice and helpful in my opinion. read more

I came here awhile back to get my eyes check because my left eye was red for the longest time. It was the closest to my house. I paid $35 to see the doctor and at the time the doctor told me not to wear my contacts anymore and apply the eye drops and it should be fine. The secretary at the front desk said I had to come back in a week for a check up. A couple of days later my eyes weren't red anymore and it was all healed. But the day came for me to come in, so I respectfully came in to say my eye was okay and I didnt have to see the doctor. The girl at the desk said I had to. Even when I insisted that my eye was back to normal, she said the doctor had to see me. So she charged me $35. I really wished I told her, "NO, I don't have to do anything." And guess what? The doctor saw me for 10 seconds and said it's all healed since it's not red anymore. At that point I was pretty upset. Why? Because I was forced to do something I didn't want to do. I could have paid my little cousin $1 for him to tell me my eyes weren't red. What a ripoff! Apparently there's a new doctor here now, but I'm not coming back. Not even to buy glasses. read more

Took both my kids to him for their eye check up. One got corrective lens for the first time the other was used to the eye exam process. Dr. Tran took his time to explain to my son the process and even joked around with the kids. He was very professional but friendly and outgoing at the same time. I'm really picky about what doctors I see, mostly because of my own paranoia from having worked in the medical field too long. You see/hear some crazy things when you work from behind the scenes in a medical office. Not all doctors are bad, but there are a handful out there that I'd definitely go out of my way to avoid. Dr. Tran is not one of those doctors. He's totally awesome! Not only is he a very thorough, very professional physician, he also has a great sense of humor. The most unprofessional office staff I have ever encountered. I call, scheduled an appointment and told them: ***"I have a REFERRAL from my DR., do you need it in advance? Their office told me: " ***No not right now just bring it when you come in." Then on the day of my appointment, the office personnel called and in a whispering and very, very rapid voice, left a message. While Incorporating a friend to assist me in deciphering the highly unprofessional voice message, we listened to it 5 times and understood only 1/3 of what was being very rapidly whispered into the phone. The jest of their message was: ***"We need to reschedule your appointment because we have not received a REFERRAL from your DR."*** I am looking for a Real Eye Doctor! Any suggestions? read more

Amazing doctor, he's great with kids, has a funny personality, kinda make you sad when you have to leave.

Everything was rushed and my daughter's prescription was wrong this whole time. The doc even suggest that she needed to go see a specialist, which is ridiculous! So, I went and paid for a second opinion and all she need was reading glasses. The staff there are slow and unprofessional, I asked for my daughter's information to be faxed over 3 times and after 2 hours later they finally did it. All this time and money wasted. read more

Good optometrist. He gave me a good prescription. single vision. I did not use the progressive that was listed on the presciption. Will not go there again, got my first set of glasses and after a while they basically gave me an infection on my temples. when back and they women working there bent my new frames to make the lenses fit and putting a crack in the lens. paid for the scratch resistant, paid for the no smug and that did not work at all. DR is great but not happy, called and would be charged to come and get new frames. read more

My kids and I have been going to Dr. Tran since we move to the area about 4 years ago. He is full of energy and quite entertaining. We use to dread going to the eye doctor, but now my kids look forward to it! We all wear glasses and my daughter also has contacts. Last week I was here with my girlfriend and her little brother for their appointment. I was very unpleased of the way they treated us, they were kind of rude and impertinent. Dr. Tran and his staffs kept on giving us a tone as they speak. During the eye exam, Dr. Tran rushed through the whole process and didn't really explain anything. Couple days after, I came to pick up my girlfriend's glasses and when I first walked into the office Dr. Tran goes " What do you need! " in a rude and impolite manner. I'm sorry but that was very unprofessional, that is not how you should treat your client. Also I forgot to mention that the glasses they gave her was crooked and the lens keeps popping out of the frame. This will be our first and our last time here. read more

We sold some solar shades to Epic Eye Center and we have serviced their office a couple times now after they apparently have misused their shades, however he tried contacting us sometime in August of last year and we apparently did not get back with him at an appropriate time, so Dr Pui Tran became offended by this and held a grudge over it for the last year instead of calling us. So he left our business a review claiming we don't offer our clients 5 year warranty, even though after I saw this review (Btw he did not try contacting us for almost year but out of the blue decided to leave us a bad review just a couple of weeks ago) I called him and apologized for not getting back with him, however we do offer a 5 year warranty and we are more then willing to stand by it however he refused our service. So I would really like to warn people to be careful before giving your eyeballs to someone that will leave a dishonest reviews on people business sites to destroy their reputation because they got their feelings hurt. I would just like to make potential clients aware they may want to chose someone that will be more honest. read more
