Hands down the best nail experience I have ever had. From the nice little area, to all of the positive energy, to my extremely detailed mani/pedi...I was blown away! I have gone to several nail salons searching for one nail salon that would pay attention to the detail instead of trying to finish with their customers as soon as possible. This place does exactly that. It was a little painful with the cuticles because they really dig in. I didn't mind because I knew that most likely the end result would be beautiful!!!! Envidia Nails Spa has to be the best place that I have ever done my nails at. To begin with, it's decorated beautifully. Carmela and Ani are absolutely amazing and such perfectionists. The take such pride in what they do and making us look beautiful is not a job to them, they really do enjoy what they do. The very first time I had Shellac, I had them done at a Salon in International Mall and it was such a horrible job. I honestly didn't see a difference than from regular polish. The polish literally pealed and chipped off just as if it were regular polish. So, I never really understood what the Shellac craze was all about. I started going to Envidia Spa a few months ago after a friend of mine would brag about how long her nail polish would last and how she would even go for up to 3 weeks with the same polish and no chipping. I decided to give it a try and I was beyond excited with my new nails. I even packed, moved and unpacked and no chips....I was in shock. The polish was still on there. I totally needed a manicure because of the dryness in my cuticles because of the moving and cleaning, but besides that they looked great. I have never been so please in my life with a manicure and pedicure. Oh yes, the pedicure's are amazing too. I really don't understand how there is a bad review on here for Envidia Spa. I have been to many nail salons & my gel mani always lifts, peels or chips within 3 days of having it done. I was looking on Yelp for a salon with the most & best reviews. Envidia was it & they're conveniently located by my job. I called to make an appointment & they were able to fit me in for the day I asked. I briefly explained my concerns to the owner & she guaranteed me that my mani would last at least 2 weeks. I am so happy I found them! My mani has NEVER lasted this long in perfect condition. Now I understand why they are booked so far in advance! Yvonne did my mani & Mavis did my pedi. It seemed like all the techs are equally talented. All the tools were cleaned in front of me. The salon has a strict no children under 12 policy, which I appreciate. Having a rowdy toddler at home, I can use 1 hr of me time every 3 weeks. I would highly recommend this nail salon. read more

Clean, relaxing, and amazing nail techs. I love walking in and everyone says hello and remembers your name. They have a great nail polish selection and even help you choose a color when you're indecisive. No kids under 12 are allowed, and as a mother, I appreciate this. Before i begin my review, i wanted to say that before coming here i read a lot of the reviews here and a lot of people have had different experiences. some say that some of the ladies are cold or not so talkative etc. To proceed with my review, i'm not a social butterfly. i'm actually very shy and it will take me time to feel comfortable and make conversations with the ladies etc. First, the salon is small but i like that because it only makes the environment more personable and comfortable to make conversation. Carmela also does them very nicely judging my the pictures other ladies have posted. Jenny did and absolutely amazing job. i have nothing negative to say about her work and the way she works. I paid attention to when she was cutting my cuticles because many people say that the ladies could be rough with the cuticles. everyone has their own opinion but as for me, she did an amazing job. she didn't over cut my cuticles or didn't give me any cuts etc. i was surprised as to how much she removed from each nail. this is what i was looking for aside from a perfect paint job. which moves me to my next comment, when i tell you this woman took her time.. SHE TOOK HER TIME AND PERFECTED EVERY SINGLE NAIL. I chose suzi chases portugeese by opi. since the nail color was white and was a little bit streaky after the second coat she insisted on a third coat so the nail was a solid white. she was very careful and not once aloud the nail polish to touch the cuticle. i mean everything was done very very well with a lot of attention. I let her know that i was very happy with the work and that i would be coming back when it was time to refresh my nails. extremely happy! I was in search for a go-to nail salon near my house and I'm so glad I found Envidia! I've been a regular customer for about a year and a half and I won't go anywhere else. I'm very picky with my nails (cuticles and a good paint job are priority). I've gotten my nails done with almost everyone at the salon and they are all great! (My go-to girls are Ivonne and Jenny). No doubt that whoever you get them done with will do a great job - they take their time and do your nails as if they were theirs. Well Carmela the owner answers and was kind enough to give me an appointment that same week. I was floored !! The place is very clean , the girls are "on time" and ALL the girls are meticulously trained by her. Meaning you can't go wrong with any. If you have cuticle and want a very clean seamless manicure THIS is the place to go to . I can't stress enough how meticulous the girls are about a clean nail .No children under the age of 12 allowed ( which I think is a +, I have children of my own and I know how stressful it can be having kids around when you're trying to relax ) Also don't expect a 30 minute rushed manicure. The only negative thing I can say about Envidia is that it can be hard to get an appointment-- because they are soooooo good. If you are looking for a nail salon that treats you like a "real" customer, then this is it! I was welcomed so very warmly and take personally to the nail bar to help me find the perfect color. The manager tried several colors on me until I was 100% happy. The decor is very pretty and the salon is clean. My nail tech was so very gentle. I told her my cuticles were very sensitive and she made sure to be extra careful. I want to say her name is Liliana but I'm just awful with names. My nails are so very evenly trimmed and polished perfectly. Now time for a pedicure! YES! Our favorite part ladies. So, you know those hard balls in the massage chair that roll over your spine and really hurt some of us. Well Envidia puts a pillow behind your back so the massage is actually comfortable. Oh and if you are cold, you get a blanket to put around you. No televisions here either which is a HUGE bonus to me. I'm telling you......try ENVIDIA! The vibe of the place is welcoming and quaint, Don't worry, you won't hear loud, obnoxious voices or sounds like you would any other walk-in nail place (Thank God!) My nail tech is Annie: she is so meticulous and I love it. I do Shellac and ever since I started I haven't looked back. There is nothing worse than pampering yourself only to be rushed and have a crappy polish job-my pet peeve! There are 4 nail technicians and I would trust all of them with my nails. They are all trained by Carmela and care about what they do. The ONLY reason I could give this place one less star is because since they are amazing, they are booked most of the time so last minute cancellations are hard to reschedule.
