We rented a 15-passenger van from Enterprise for a family road trip, and honestly, the van was the star of the show: comfy, spacious, modern, and got us where we needed to go without turning our vacation into a roadside adventure. The problem? The customer service!! When I arrived to pick up the van, Emily acted like I was trying to pull off a heist because I wanted to pay with a debit card. Never mind that the account had more than enough money to cover 10 rentals. A simple "Sorry, we don't accept debit cards" would have worked. Instead, I got eye rolls, attitude, and a side of judgment. I left and came back later with my magical, acceptable credit card, and suddenly Emily was a little nicer. Unfortunately, first impressions don't come with a reset button. When I returned the van after a week, they asked how everything was. The van? Fantastic!!! Had a wonderful family road trip in it. The service? Let's just say I saved that review for here. I've rented from plenty of Enterprise locations over the years, and this was easily the worst customer service experience I've had. I made a reservation with Enterprise in Temecula on May 21 for a full-size SUV that would accommodate seven passengers for a family trip to Las Vegas. The vehicle was scheduled for pickup at 8:00 AM on June 19 and return on June 23. On June 18, at approximately 3:00 PM--less than one business day before my scheduled pickup--I received a phone call informing me that the 7-passenger SUV I had reserved would not be available. I expressed my disappointment and pointed out that I was being notified only one hour before the office closed on the day before my trip. The representative apologized and then asked if I wanted to cancel my reservation. Since no replacement vehicle was being offered, I felt I had no other choice but to cancel. This last-minute cancellation created a significant amount of stress and undue hardship, putting our months-long-planned family vacation in jeopardy. I immediately contacted other rental companies in the area, but most had no 7-passenger vehicles available due to the late notice. After several hours of searching, I finally found a vehicle available at Ontario Airport, approximately 60 miles from my home. My son and I had to drive there and back, accruing costs for gas and car mileage usage, and did not complete the pickup until around 10:00 PM the night before our trip. We even had to drive to the airport and back a second time upon return for the vehicle drop-off, accruing even more costs for gas and car mileage usage. Because it was a last-minute airport rental, the cost was nearly double what I had originally reserved. What is the purpose of making a reservation nearly a month in advance if the vehicle is not guaranteed and customers are notified at the last minute? This experience was not only extremely disappointing and inconvenient, but it showed that this place of business is indifferent and inconsiderate. I could not help but feel like I was set up in a way that placed me in a situation where I would not be helped by the business in any way, choosing to inform me at the last minute that no vehicle accommodation was available, which unfortunately turned out to be the case. Such a business practice proved that this location lacked the integrity one would expect from a so-called "reputable" car rental company. Because of how this situation was handled, I will no longer be renting from this Enterprise location again, and I highly recommend that no one does business with them when other reliable and more honest businesses around the area are available. My husband called from the body shop where we dropped off my van to check vehicle availability for a rental and your employee, Emily was extremely short and abrupt with him, borderline rude and unprofessional. He didn't even have her on speakerphone and I could hear her tone just sitting next to him. If you're having a bad day, I hope your day gets better. But, I pray you never have to be in the situation we have been in which is already a high stress situation and your unkindness and lack of customer service has not helped in any way. Do not rent from this location. They have no customer service experience. They do not help or assist. The lady working is so monotone it's like talking to a brick wall. They need to be trained properly on how to treat customers. I had a problem with my vehicle and needed to swap it and they did nothing to help get me into the vehicle I needed. They gave me a number and just made me figure it out. If they are so bored of their jobs or dislike the job they do then maybe they need to switch profession so us customers do not have to suffer... very embarrassing for a company so large and I use this company every where I go. Many great rentals over the last several years from Temecula Enterprise but today, 8/25/25, they kept me waiting for 45 minutes to then tell me that they didn't have the car specifically reserved last week in a face to face conversation. They suggested alternatives on the lot that would not do the Job. If your commute or vacation (my case) depends on a car/truck with certain capabilities regarding size or terrain, you may be left "empty handed" on the day before your trip, scrambling to find an alternative instead of packing and/or resting. Terrible customer service oh my gosh told him I didn't want a minivan yet took me outside to a minivan. Sat there for way too long and in 100° heat They gave another lady a car before me and I was there prior to her. I don't understand why I got stuck with a freaking minivan After I said I didn't want it. Jessie totally saved the day for us! We had made a reservation at the fallbrook branch for a NYE rental and the morning we were supposed to pickup they told us they didn't have the car we ordered! I immediately called the Vista branch manager and she was extremely short with me and basically told me that enterprise overbooked, and there was really nothing she could do for us. She also said that they called us and told us that they didn't have the car we order which 100% did not happen SO I frantically began calling every enterprise branch and was so pleased when I stumbled upon Jessie at the enterprise in Temecula. He was so kind and apologetic, and even better yet, offered to call around to see what could be done. Less than a half an hour later he had the right car for us, and even offered to have it brought down from corona to the Temecula location so we could pick it up. Less than four hours and our car-less nightmare was solved! The pick up was totally smooth and Andrew was so nice and showed us the car, which was a really nice vehicle. I was in an accident and Geico rented me a vehicle here. while doing initial inspections the female employee offered insurance coverage I said geico coverage is suppos to cove my rental she said it doesn't cover the rental. I believe here and paid for coverage should have called my insurance but just didn't think she would've lied right.. I had to return car ear because couldn't afford insurance coverage anymore. Then enters Jesse he told me to take insurance off so I could keep the car for a few more days really just got in a accident why would I do that seems he trying to gouge more money know if anything happened to car I would be liable or maybe he knew my insurance did cover it so I called my insurance and asked should I have paid for coverage they no my coverage carried over to rent and enterprise had been caught doing this before. Have rented from here several times and each time is just okay - nothing spectacular. This most recent time I had an issue with the vehicle during the reservation and the female employee (I forgot her name) made sure we were ok afterwards. I explained the situation and showed her video evidence. She listened thoughtfully and seemed to actually care about our experience with the vehicle. Without hesitation she offered some money back as our experience was significantly impacted. I typically have no issues and they have a great selection of cars. Rented a 12 passenger van here. I was expecting a new, clean and presentable Ford transit van as advertised but instead we got a dirty and smelly Chevy (kidnapper) van. Rude and incompetent employees. (The ride guy was a sweet man though!) However I had to fight to get a ride as the rude woman on the phone told me they don't give rides yet the recording says they do. Of course no one is wearing name tags so can't give a name. They wouldn't own up to who gave me a hard time.... Not sure if it was butterfly lash girl or fake extension girl..... they wouldn't admit who the liar was..... Rental was through insurance... never have I had to give a deposit. For an insurance claim. Didn't have a card with me for my account with cash. If they had simply told me on the phone about procedures, wouldn't have been a problem...... They refused to help in any way and said "well you sounded like you were in a hurry so we didn't tell you...." Girl you wouldnt have told me anyhow! I told them I had a very important appt and needed to get going. She rolled her eyes and said , " we will do our best..." ummmm....there's not one customer waiting in the office! Plus, my insurance had made a reservation for me and she told me they didn't..... even though I had the reservation number! And yes, I was very irritated that they didn't do their job properly! We the unthinkable happened to us we had an accident and our insurance company provided Enterprise Rental. This was the best and easiest part of our process. When you're in an auto accident it is a time consuming, painful (mentally & physical), emotional just to name a few. Enterprise made our inconvenient situation to a more convenient situation. The staff are super friendly and fast. We've tried other rental car companies in the area any most are fair to good but Enterprise is Outstanding. I won't mention the name of the company but when we went to go pick up our rental car there was three people in office and no cars to rent on the parking lot! After a VERY stressful 4 hours of dealing with a flat tire from a rental at a competing company who were NO help to us (Not naming names, but rhymes with fudge-it), Kiya sprang into action and was able to get us a new car rental with Enterprise at a fantastic price. She was extremely professional and sweet as well as understanding of our situation. It was our wedding week and dealing with the other rental company caused so much additional, unneeded stress. I rented a Volkswagen Atlas over Thanksgiving. I loved the car. However, about 6 hours into my drive home to Reno, NV, the coolant warning/malfunction light came on. I called enterprise and was advised to take it to the nearest enterprise location. Upon my arrival they offered me a Dodge Durango which is also a very nice car. Waited 50 minutes after arriving. Only two people ahead of us. Men working were completely incompetent and could only handle 1 thing at a time with all 3 minds. We rent from Enterprise often, this is the first time we've experienced this. After waiting, we were given a filthy van, on less than a 1/4 tank. So dirty, there was still pop corn, and brown substance (hopefully dirt) smeared on back of seats. I would put zero stars if possible. Used enterprise because i was assigned to think from my insurance adjuster. On arrival they said a car was not available. They decided to place me in a decrepit SUV which I didn't want. They informed me everything was covered by the insurance with no additional cost except a deposit of $100. For the week we barely drove the car because we weren't very familiar with it. When we returned the car they attempt to charge us over $200 when everything was already covered by the insurance. The employee the. said, "Oh it's ok you have good insurance, they will cover it". Approximately 10 days after returning the car I noticed at charge for $84.42. I called the corporate line and they stated they weren't sure why there was an additional charge as everything appeared to be paid for already. I then proceeded to call the rental location. An employee by the name of Kia looked into an was uncertain why there was a a charge. She said she would contact her boss and contact me back before close the day. She never called. J called her right before closing and she first acted like she didn't remember me. I went through the entire story again and she oh yeah, you will be reimbursed within two weeks. What i find interesting is that they just decided to charge me a random cost 10 days after i returned the rental. Then they communicated they would reimburse me within 2 weeks when it took them less than 1 minute to charge me. Don't go with this place they are very unprofessional and are trying to skim money from customers without their knowledge. Update: I emailed the address as instructed. I will see if there is a response. Update 2: Still waiting for a response. Quick to act like they are resolving things via social media but in the back ground doing absolutely nothing. Walked in to pick up vehicle and no one up front. A man entered the room and sat down at a desk and completely ignored me. I said,"I'm here to pick up a rental" and he said"yes" and just kept sitting down. I asked him what "yes" meant and he said, "I don't do the front desk". I have used Enterprise for over 30 years and this is the first time I wasn't happy with it. Made a reservation while my car was in the body shop. Before I got the car home the check key battery fob and check coolant lights had popped up. I received a "thank you for your reservation" text from the manager the 2nd day saying text with any problems. I did and no response the entire day. There was no answer at the office. When I got a hold of someone I said I need to exchange the car. The next day I drove it back to the office as I made another qppt for a different car. (Office is half hour from my home) I picked up another car and 5 minutes from leaving the office the low tire pressure came on. The car was dirty on the outside. Sent another text to the manager and did not hear back the entire day. Took it to a mechanic during my work day to have air put in the tire. Won't be using them again. read more

I rented a car with a cracked windshield, I addressed it right away during the inspection, they said they were only concerned with the body of the car. When I returned I explained about the windshield again - and they still submitted a claim and billed me $485! RENTER BEWARE - photograph EVERYTHING when you rent! They are SHADY and a corporation as big as they are doesn't give a crap about their customers. Jimmy is the manager and Sage (or Page?) were not helpful at all. They picked us up from the collision place and had us pick out from 4 available cars, three of which were gas guzzlers so we weren't too thrilled about that. The best on gas was a 2013 Dodge Avenger (not much better than the others, I know) but it had 65 miles on it. The wait took awhile for the car to be ready. They had to vacuum it and stuff. Then the inspection was pretty long too, he was checking for every little scratch on the car, but then it turns out that they're pretty generous about what gets scratched up, so it didn't add up. Drop off was a breeze, we only had the car for two days. So glad because that car wasn't great on gas at all! read more

Today is Thursday evening 9/01/22. Two days after I attempted to rent a car from this Jefferson Avenue location on Tuesday, and that was with an appointment, which they say is required. I am still 'waiting' for them to call me when they actually Have the mid-size sedan which they told me to my face at the counter upon intake when I was dropped off by their driver from the collision shop that I had left my car at. Apparently my insurance only contracts with Enterprise. The young lady at the counter 1st mentioned there was a bit of a wait & suggested I go to the nearby Starbucks. Right as I was about to leave, I asked her approximately How Long? She then said 'about' an Hour!!! It was a very hot day, but I walked down to the opposite end of this shopping center and I stayed at the Salvation Army store for over an hour! Upon returning after 1:00pm (I had arrived at 12:00noon), I was told all they had was a Van!!!! I repeated what I was told that I was getting upon my arrival over an hour ago! We went round & round & then she said would you be ok with a Truck!!! I asked her why they told me I was getting a mid-sized sedan if they didn't have one?? She said they did not promise me that. That was just what they would try since that's what my insurance covered. Again, Not what I was told at intake. Then when I was getting close to possibly accepting a truck in my mind, she tells me it's not even there when I ask her how much longer!!!! I called my collision center to let them know since I know they work with these rental agencies. By this time I've been here 1 and a half hours!!! With an appointment!!! And No Car!! I tell my collision lady that I'm panicking because I have to bring my husband to a Scheduled Surgical Procedure!!! She recommended that I come back to get my car since they had not yet worked on it. I repeatedly tell the two ladies at enterprise that I am now crunched for time in order to get back home to take my husband to his surgical procedure & ... nothing!!! I finally say that I need them to bring me back to the collision place. I'm waiting but also panicked even more!! I call back my collision place & get the owner to come over & when I tell enterprise they tell me they now have Nissan Altima that can come over from the other location & I repeat that I cannot wait any longer! After finally getting a text response from my insurance & basically guilting him into making a call to enterprise, he says they (Maria) will call me when they get a car for me!
