It has been my experience, especially with Enterprise, that if you're having issues it's usually YOUR fault.     1 Star - Absolute Waste of Time…read more I reserved a car with a 6:00 PM pickup time, which YOUR system allowed me to select. While driving to the location, I called ahead because I noticed they close at 6. I was then told that 5:50 PM is their "cutoff" and that since I'd be arriving at 6, I couldn't get the car I already reserved. So let me get this straight: If 5:50 is the cutoff, WHY does your system allow a 6:00 PM reservation? This caused me to waste time, money, and completely disrupted my plans I ubered there and had to uber back. No warning, no notification, no accountability--just "too bad." This is either terrible communication or a broken reservation system, and either way it's unacceptable for a company this size. If you can't honor reservations at the time you allow customers to book, don't offer that time. Simple. Extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience.

Not to mention, they are opened on Sundays!! Meaning you don't have to keep it the whole weekend. Who does that outside of airports-not asking you Turo. They're located within the Murrieta Spectrum, a pretty big plaza. However, no real designated place for their fleet. Not to worry because it seems you can leave the car anywhere when returning. Well, anywhere on their section of the plaza. Returns can take awhile-but they don't have to. Mostly if you want a receipt or some type of paperwork. Very old school here.

They do not answer the phones very often because the employees are oversaturated with customers, and while I feel for them, I was still inconvenienced by the lack of staffing and so were many other people I saw and spoke to. There is also a fee of $500 that is added at the end if you pay with debit, which is reimbursed after you return the car.. I'm not sure if that is standard procedure for car rental places but it came as an unwanted surprise for me. This review is primarily negative due to the long wait times, though.

The…read morelocation advertises an 8:00 a.m. opening time, but the office did not actually open until approximately 8:10 a.m. By that point, a line of several customers had already formed outside waiting to be served. Once the office opened, it became apparent that the vehicles were not ready for pickup and still needed to be cleaned. The first customer in line did not receive their vehicle until 8:35am, resulting in a significant delay despite arriving before opening. The location also appeared to be understaffed. There was only one employee working the front counter, and while assisting customers in person, he was repeatedly interrupted by phone calls. At least five callers were told that he would need to call them back later because he was unable to manage both the counter and phone inquiries at the same time. The employee was professional and appeared to be doing his best under the circumstances. However, the overall operation seemed unprepared for customers at opening time. If a location advertises an 8:00 a.m. opening, customers should reasonably expect the office to be open, staffed, and have vehicles ready for pickup at that time.

The problem? The customer service!! When I arrived to pick up the van, Emily acted like I was trying to pull off a heist because I wanted to pay with a debit card. Never mind that the account had more than enough money to cover 10 rentals. A simple "Sorry, we don't accept debit cards" would have worked. Instead, I got eye rolls, attitude, and a side of judgment. I left and came back later with my magical, acceptable credit card, and suddenly Emily was a little nicer. Unfortunately, first impressions don't come with a reset button. When I returned the van after a week, they asked how everything was. The van? Fantastic!!! Had a wonderful family road trip in it. The service? Let's just say I saved that review for here. I've rented from plenty of Enterprise locations over the years, and this was easily the worst customer service experience I've had. If you're planning to rent from this location, bring a credit card WITHOUT the word "debit" on it and maybe you'll get decent service. PSA: DEBIT CARDS ARE NOT ACCEPTED HERE!!!!

The vehicle was scheduled for pickup at 8:00 AM on June 19 and return on June 23. On June 18, at approximately 3:00 PM--less than one business day before my scheduled pickup--I received a phone call informing me that the 7-passenger SUV I had reserved would not be available. I expressed my disappointment and pointed out that I was being notified only one hour before the office closed on the day before my trip. The representative apologized and then asked if I wanted to cancel my reservation. Since no replacement vehicle was being offered, I felt I had no other choice but to cancel. This last-minute cancellation created a significant amount of stress and undue hardship, putting our months-long-planned family vacation in jeopardy. I immediately contacted other rental companies in the area, but most had no 7-passenger vehicles available due to the late notice. After several hours of searching, I finally found a vehicle available at Ontario Airport, approximately 60 miles from my home. My son and I had to drive there and back, accruing costs for gas and car mileage usage, and did not complete the pickup until around 10:00 PM the night before our trip. We even had to drive to the airport and back a second time upon return for the vehicle drop-off, accruing even more costs for gas and car mileage usage. Because it was a last-minute airport rental, the cost was nearly double what I had originally reserved. What is the purpose of making a reservation nearly a month in advance if the vehicle is not guaranteed and customers are notified at the last minute? This experience was not only extremely disappointing and inconvenient, but it showed that this place of business is indifferent and inconsiderate. I could not help but feel like I was set up in a way that placed me in a situation where I would not be helped by the business in any way, choosing to inform me at the last minute that no vehicle accommodation was available, which unfortunately turned out to be the case. Such a business practice proved that this location lacked the integrity one would expect from a so-called "reputable" car rental company. Because of how this situation was handled, I will no longer be renting from this Enterprise location again, and I highly recommend that no one does business with them when other reliable and more honest businesses around the area are available. I write this review not only as an expression of disappointment, but to warn others from making the mistake of doing business with this place, especially if you value your time, your health, and your hard-earned money.

I reserved a Full-Size car a week in advance, but when I arrived, they told me it wasn't available. Instead of upgrading me or offering a price adjustment, they tried to force an involuntary downgrade to a Standard car. When I requested fair compensation for the cheaper vehicle class, the counter agent was completely dismissive and gave me a rude "take it or leave it" ultimatum. Because I refused to be ripped off, they refused to rent to me at all. Fortunately, I booked my reservation through Costco Travel, so I wasn't charged for their failure. I walked right across the street to a competitor, who happily rented me the exact vehicle class I needed without any issues. Avis in Temecula has awful customer service and zero problem-solving skills. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. I had rented from this location for many years with the previous management without problem.
