Just saying here. Why do people need to lie to promote uber ? I know no blacks taxi drivers are rude , I know after a busy day or night cab may get dirt inside, which is normal , but I know for sure that a few posts in here were simply done Just To Promote Uber. Is it that bad for uber drivers that they have to go to what many consider the best cab company in Temecula, and use this app to make up stories ? I don't get it. I usually don't take taxis, but decided to try one instead of the usual Uber. I picked Blacks because of good recent reviews and I'm glad I did. The dispatcher was pleasant and the taxi arrived in less than 10 minutes. Pretty fast; I was impressed! The car was clean and smelled good. My driver was Chris. I've had issues with feeling unsafe before, with other drivers, but my driver was very safe. Rate was reasonable. This is a good alternative to my standard Uber and Lyft usage. I will use be using Blacks again, in the future, when I'm in the area. read more

Called the night before requesting a taxi to a 10 am doctor appointment. Guy that answered sounded very friendly and said the sedan would arrive at our agreed upon time at 9:15am. At 9:20, I called and got voicemail. At 9:30, I called again and got voicemail. Both times I left a message with my name and cell number. Luckily, I was able to get a last minute ride and on our way out at 9:37, I saw the taxi come up our street. Never received an apology or a follow up call. That's called Poor Customer Service. Unreliable when I needed them most. First time I ever wanted to try Blacks Taxi and definitely the last and only time. read more

Worst experience! No professionalism from phone call till pick up waited 30 mins while estimated arrival was 15! Driver was rude asked him to play the radio he station 540am! Yesterday was my first time riding in a taxi ever and I would like to thank Julisa for that. Julisa handled my call very friendly and she never once sounded fake at any point during the call and ride. My job also require customer service so I have an idea of what is considered good customer service. She understood how it was my first time riding and explained everything to me in a patient way. I also never felt rushed or like she didn't enjoy her job. I am not sure about the other drivers, but since it was my first time and I am also a 20 year old female, I am glad that Julisa was my driver. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the price I had to pay, but I understand very well that there is a reason why the price is what it is. I'm an Uber fan...like hardcore fan...use em for everything in San Diego. 2 Uber drivers in a row could not get to my (very high profile) hotel in Temecula wine country. Black's was right out front and the Mrs & I had already waited 20+ so we decided to reintroduce ourselves to cabs. Couldn't have been happier & took them 4 more times throughout the night in our excursions. Drivers were American & were personable. And get this...the price was very close to being on par with Uber to my great surprise. Good job Black's! read more

I only give a 5 star rating if a company does much more than expected -- above and beyond the call of duty. I mean, 4 stars is pretty good! I had car trouble over the weekend and had to rely on a taxi. I had a few choices and for no real reason other than it was the first biz card I picked up I callled Black's Taxi. The dispatcher was pleasant and easy to understand on phone (yes -- that is unusual) and the driver arrived within minutes as promised. He was very nice and personable and delivered us where we were going ... all well and good, and certainly what you would expect. But the return trip was where the 5th star was earned. I called Black's a couple of hours later to get a pickup, but it was Sunday noon and they said it would be an hour before they could get somebody to me. Yipes! I said, "OK put me in the queue" Then I called cab company #2. Dispatcher was probably somebody working from home and had barking dogs and had to ask me to repeat things because Fido was making a racket. She told me I could get a cab in ten minutes. As soon as I hung up, I got a text giving me an ETA of about 45-50 minutes! YIPES AGAIN. I said, "OK put me in the queue" So of course I called company #3. A fellow answered and said he'd be over to pick me up in 15 minutes ... so LETS GO. I figured whoever arrived first got my business and I would cancel the others ... After all , it would be 45 min to 1 hour before the others arrived. Just then, Black's Taxi arrived ... yes -- the guys who had a 1 hour wait Here is where they earned Star #5. They called an off duty driver to come on when he wasn't scheduled and he got to me only about 10-15 min after I called -- not 1 hour. And he was a wonderful and pleasant fellow also. I called the other two cabs and cancelled. No bad reflections on them at all. I will give Black's first chance at my business next time a I need a cab ... and I hope I won't need one soon, because I got my car repaired the next day (Monday). read more

Awesome! We were staying at Temecula Creek Inn so the front desk picked/called Black's but we were so lucky they did. The lady driving the van was awesome and so much fun, plus she had some sweet bass in the van, and even lights that lit up to go with the music. It was a fun drive! read more

I used them at least 8 times while I stayed in Temecula. Last night my phone was at 3% and they said they were coming in 20 minutes. I waited outside the store for 1hr and 20 minutes and they never sent anyone. By then my phone was dead, and I had to walk all the way back to my hotel 2 miles away, and I'm 8 1/2months pregnant. I was not happy. Uber will always be easier and cheaper. read more

WORST TAXI SERVICE! The Driver was flat out RUDE. Didn't greet us when we got into his cab, proceeded to tell us that there would be a $150.00 charge if we spilled anything on the seats (we only had WATER), and when it was time to get out he made it a point to say "we don't come out this way" as if it was a hardship to drive us to our destination... Isn't that his JOB??? I will never ever use this service again and I will make it a point to never recommend them. read more

Blacks taxi is awesome! I traveled a lot for work over the last few months (luckily new position is less travel), so I needed a cab to take me to the airport - usually San Diego and sometimes Ontario. They are always polite, every driver spoke perfect English and even had conversations with me (I like talking, if you're not interested I'm sure they wouldn't tall your ear off), and always always on time. I booked my appts 15 minutes earlier than I needed because up until I found Blacks, they were always 5-10 mins late. Blacks is always early by at least 5 mins and sometimes even 15 mins. I called these guys late on a Saturday evening when we were stranded out in wine country...they were very nice and came to get us! I would call these guys anytime I need a ride. Wayne was the driver. I was getting my windshield replaced and didn't have time to wait for the repair to be completed so I called Black's Taxi. I got their information through a friend that just raved about them but I've got to admit I was a little nervous because I'm female, I was alone, had never used their service before and I was having them take me to my home. Anyway, the driver was there in just a couple of minutes to pick me up and was SO friendly and professional! The driver's name was Chris, he got out of the taxi, took his sunglasses off, introduced himself clearly providing first and last name and that he was from Black's Taxi. He then gave me a firm handshake and opened the door for me. It was crazy but I was instantly comfortable and not nervous anymore. It was a short few mile ride but his conversation was great! He told me about his little family and how blessed he is. It was like I was getting a ride from an old friend or family member. The taxi was clean and smelled great too! I would totally recommend Black's Taxi to anyone and recommend they ask for Chris as the driver! I can't remember his last name so I hope he is the only Chris there but anyway I'm 100% positive I will use this service again because of the professionalism of the driver!
