Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Car Rental Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I usally don't write reviews but my recent experience with Deni at the 19th Ave location was rough. It was so confusing and he went out of his way to provide poor service. The other employees apologized to me for his lack of service. Ill always rent from Enterprise but will be alert to avoid Deni. I was told Spencer would call me but never heard back. I was told that Deni is a Manager?? OUCH. I allowed Deni to lie to me because I'm not responsible to train him. P.S. When I returned the car the entire team remembered me and immediately apologized for the poor service I was given by Deni. Brian was the one the checked me in and immediately offered me a fair discount for dealing with the poor service. Brian definitely preserved the customer experience. I will welcome a phone call if Deni some how forgets the details and pushes blame to someone else. I have no problem changing my rating if requested. Regards. read more

Extremely rude. I work for a company and we book rentals with enterprise all the time, have had 0 issues until today. They started implementing a new policy where they need to verify that the person picking up the vehicle, works for said company that they are picking up for. Keep in mind this is a NEW policy they're implementing. We have not had to do this previously, but it is a completely understandable policy that we can adhere to. The problem is that today, when we were picking up a vehicle for the company and they told us this, we had nothing to prove that we worked there with our name and company name on it, we were trying to figure it out and find out what we can do or show them to prove employment and the entire ordeal was extremely rude on their end. They seemed to be angry at us for not having proof of employment and started talking down on us and acting like we were stupid. Absolutely horrible customer service. We did end up having a company card we use that was enough to show proof of employment since it had my coworkers name and company name on it but we first had to basically sit through a screaming fit from the branch manager apparently (he claimed to be the branch manager about 3 times during this fit). Never booking here again and absolutely do not recommend unless you want to deal with childish, demeaning and rude staff. Edit: by the way I literally neverrr ever even leave reviews but this encounter was enough where I felt like I had to let everyone else know how they act here read more

Well, I did finally get a call. And it was agreed, that one way charge will be quashed and my money refunded. I will reserve judgment....a simple I'm sorry goes a long way, ...but the Refund will get you my business again- jjc read more

Josh and his whole team were extremely nice and knowledgeable. We have never rented a car before and they made it so easy.

I rented a Camry for a road trip, the car was a great fit and price. The lady that helped us at pick up was amazing but I did forget her name (sorry) and the guy who helped us at drop off, Josh I think, was equally as great. This location really does make it easy to get a good rental car. Thanks again to the team they were great ! read more

I had a reservation for a rental after dropping my car at the body shop for repair. They picked me up from the repair shop within about 5 minutes. The office is nice and it seems like they would have a huge selection. Unfortunately for me that morning, none of the cars had yet arrived, so I had to wait about 30 minutes before being put in a rental. It was a Monday morning, so it's possible things are busier that day, but just keep in mind that you may have to wait, even if you have a reservation already scheduled. read more

Great experience 2 weeks ago. Upgraded my car for no reason. Best customer service I've received from a rental car joint.

Friendly desk clerk, fast efficient service and easy check outs. Car is clean. Nice followup text to let me know who to contact in the event of any problems. read more

Excellent and speedy service, got me in and out quickly and were very friendly! I'd definitely come back to this location again when in need of a rental. read more

Pro: The facility and very nice and new. Check out/in is fast. Con: The staff is not very nice or friendly. They are very unpleasant, especially the short long haired blonde manager. Her condescending attitude, poor behavior, and RBF would fit better as a prison guard than in customer service. read more

I never write reviews on anything, but I felt as though this one needed a review the enterprise on 19th Ave. and just north of Dunlap has the very best staff I have ever dealt with in renting a car the manager I believe Rachel or the young lady named Rachel, who works at this enterprise was extremely helpful, friendly quick, and got me in and out both renting the car and returning the car within minutes I would 100% go back and be a repeat customer here. read more

Jalen the manager is the only one that's professional he understood my needs and concerns despite the miscommunication from his coworkers...great job Jalen!!! read more

The Enterprise at the Phoenix airport is, without a doubt, the worst rental car company we have ever used-in any country or city. The line moved at a snail's pace, slower than any other rental. The people who were working at the checkout counter were indifferent, laughing and talking to one another. When they asked how we were, he said great before we even answered. read more

Today was an absolute GODSEND?? Coming home from my San Diego vacay I was pulling out of the parking garage of the hotel and accidentally, deeply dented, and scraped up the whole drivers side panel just forward of the door on a cement pillar!! I was completely devastated and tried my best not to break down and cry. But then I remembered how I, reluctantly, paid for the required daily insurance I had to have in order to rent the car! YAYYY!! Oh, but then how the sadness returned when I thought about how I just knew Enterprise was gonna slam me with a huge ass $500 or even $1000 deductible!!!! Nausea and vomit!!! Filled my throat with tears and anger!!! Once I got into my local, Phoenix, Enterprise, office I did the walk of shame and went in to tell them what I had done.! That's when Robert the manager said "Aren't you glad you purchased our insurance?" I looked up at him in disbelief thinking sure asshole now tell me how you're gonna rape my wallet! SURPRISINGLY he told me "now you won't have to pay a thing!" GET THE INSURANCE PEOPLE!! If I had used my own auto insurance plan I may have had to pay a $500 deductible! The insurance Enterprise charged me was only $25 a day! Well worth it Thanks Robert and staff at the Camelback and I-17 freeway Enterprise Rent a Car in Phoenix! You really put the cherry on top of my vacation!!! read more

If anyone is looking for a Car Rental Company that actually puts customers first , then I recommend Enterprise Car Rental in Phoenix Arizona . I give Selena the manager more than five . When I walked in the door it was very crowded and seem like she had no help coming from nowhere. But that didn't matter because she greeted each customer and told them to be patient as she would be with them as soon as she could. Selena is the type of manager that every business dreams of. She is definitely dedicated to customer service and making sure that she takes care of each and every customer. What I liked about her most is that she was a person of her word. I wasn't satisfied with the car that she gave me, but that's all they had and she told me just hold on until Monday and I will see what I can do. Monday afternoon she calls me and told me to come and pick up a larger car and I was so happy. She set the standard for any employee to emulate . I highly recommend this car rental agency . Selena keep doing your job and one day you'll be at corporate. Thank you so much for all that you do for each and every customer. Edith Henderson Msg/E-8 U.S.A. Retired read more

Enterprise Rent-A-Car - A retired 20 year military veteran !!!!! - Car Rental Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Inconsistent policies, employees who say they "care" and "definitely understand" in such a passive-aggressive way, not actually caring whatsoever, that it makes you see red. Something is always down or not working, app constantly boots you out and erases your information to be able to check in remotely, endless lines, car issues, you name it. Ditching Enterprise for good based on my experience here and going back to renting with Budget. read more

Nice staff. Super easy transaction and car rental pick up and drop off. Would recommend

great customer service, the car we got was a van and it was as clean as can be and had great gas mileage, there's so much more I could talk about but I simply wouldn't have enough time or space for it so let's conclude it, I recommend going here because of service, clean cars, and low prices. read more

worst car rental experience ever!! due to a mishap my ID was left at the dealership, and not one employee offered an additional solution. By the time my ID was delivered they had already closed and left me stranded at their door to find an alternative ride home with my 5 yr old son. Employees were more concerned with getting the place closed down than to help a customer, but they said they would be back at 7am tomorrow and walked off. signed No longer doing business with enterprise ever! read more

Updating my review. I appreciate Kyle from Enterprise contacting me to discuss what happened.

The guy that is working upfront is not a nice person. He gave my rental car away and trying to give me the smallest vehicle they have. My insurance company told them a van and they tried to give me a small car. He talked down to me with customers in store. Please don't come to this location. read more

Giving this place a one star rating strictly for the fact they put a 250 dollar deposit on your credit card why deal with a hold when you can go 15 min up the street to Avis and not have a deposit. I used to rent from enterprise a lot from a different location that never charges a 250 dollar deposit it was .15 percent on top of the car rental. Unless Enterprise gets there act together and have a reasonable deposit system then they have lost a customer. Wow update Enterprise replied back to my review and asked me what they can do to help. Read the review it tells you what the issue is. This company is unbelievable read more

Unorganized, slow, no sense of urgency whatsoever I always use enterprise, but I won't use this facility again

The rental car was not ready upon arrival and only had three quarters tank of gas. What happened to full tank . Not the superstar in rental cars. Staff was friendly. read more

Booked a small truck at 9am, my appointment was set for 2pm. I was told the vehicle was on the lot and would be ready for pickup. Oh my goodness!! I usually rent from budget car rentals, and lately have been very disappointed in the cute games they play. But not Enterprise. They had the car, it wasn't pre-reserved or sold, it was in great working order, and the agent was knowledgeable, friendly, courteous, and showed exactly how big a bit of road damage needed to be to be addressed. They were AMAZING!! read more

When you reserve a vehicle at a specific time that is when you should expect to receive the vehicle. Had to wait additional 30 minutes in lobby while they completed an oil change? Complete disconnect between scheduling and servicing of vehicles. Avoid this location if you can. read more

Be aware if you leave anything in the car it will be stolen! Used a National car rental in Waikoloa Village and returned it at hotel, left my brand new shoes on drivers side, after weeks of getting the run around they were never "found". 100% left them in car and never found. The lost/found site was no help as there is no location for Waikoloa. Would not use again. read more

Tyler at the Enterprise office in Cottonwood, AZ is friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. He does a good job considering the limits and corporate policies of Enterprise. That being said, I was rented a vehicle that had been heavily smoked in by the renter before me. I have asthma. The smell was so strong that it set off an asthma attack and I was down for a day because of it. I tried to get a different vehicle, but was told there were over a dozen people waiting for cars, so they couldn't change me out. This was a medical condition and should have been given a priority. The vehicle should never have been rented in the first place. I had the vehicle for 8 days and only put 30 miles on it because it made me so sick to drive. Although I found Tyler to be an asset to Enterprise, I feel my rental was an inexcusable epic fail. read more

Originally this was a 5 star rating until my recent experience with this company. Best advice, make sure you are not involved in an accident because they do NOT work with you even when you buy their insurance. I've been using Enterprise for years and wouldn't ever be a returning customer due to my recent rental experience with them. read more

Worst rental experience ever. Start by standing in line like everywhere else. But this is just the first stop. You'll need to go to a completely different level in the building to get in a longer line (46 waiting in line). Slowest service ever... overly hyped "HELLO!!!" or completely disinterested customer service. Moved in slow motion. After waiting in that line for 40 minutes, we were slowly taken to a car. I mean slowly like someone was meandering unsure of where to go. We got in and the engine light came in saying needs oil change. The person waiting on us said "it will probably turn off after you start driving." We're driving to the Grand Canyon... not a place we need engine problems. We asked for another vehicle - because this one also smelled like smoke. Got in new vehicle. Warning light: your washer fluid needs refilling. We asked "do you have any?" The replay was a limp "it's so far away... I guess I could take the vehicle over there if you want." We got a third vehicle. When we asked how long it will take to return the vehicle at the end of our vacation we were told it usually takes about two hours. TWO HOURS!! To return a car. We came to see Arizona, not your basement car drop off site. We will NEVER rent from Enterprise again. Service was awful and time was wasted every step of the way. Worst business model ever for a car rental place. Whoever the management team is should seriously consider another line of work. Awful. And I'm being nice. read more

We broke down in Globe and dealt with garages, towing companies, and Enterprise. All were fantastic! Miranda at Enterprise had 1 car available and brought it to us at the garage we were stranded at.
