Big shout out to the crew at Enterprise on N. 7th St., specifically Celia, Grant and Grayson! As soon as I walked in the door, Grant helped me with my initial reservation that USAA insurance set up. He's super low key but professional & helpful! My car got totaled in June and my insurance approved a week for free. Grant set me up in a VW Passat, in impeccable condition & I drove that for a week to go car shopping. Once my week was up, I returned it. I came back a week later,on July 15th & Celia set me up in another vehicle, a Chevy Malibu, that was also pristine. Celia was also super positive and helpful. When she told me how much the weekly rate was, I called Budget & they offered me a lower weekly rate. When I shared that w/ her, she figured out how Enterprise could give me a better rate. Thanks Celia! I drove that for the next week & then Grayson helped extend my reservation for ANOTHER week. He too provided excellent customer service. FINALLY turned in the Malibu after two weeks and a day. Grant checked me in & it was seamless. Also both times, Celia & Grayson made sure I was able to get home via the shuttle b/c I live close by. That saved me time b/c I didn't have to call a friend to come & get me. Overall, they made my car rental process smooth and stress-free, which I appreciate. B/c shopping for a new car is not! Thanks Enterprise at N. 7th St.! P.S. The only thing I will add & this is for Enterprise corporate: cars that have BLACK vinyl interiors, including seats & steering wheels, will damn near give customers third degree burns in the summer. Cars are sitting out in the 110+ degree heat, parked in uncovered parking areas. Esp that VW Passat! In this market, Enterprise needs to provide seat covers, towels or some solution, to place on seats, to prevent customers from getting burned. The entire time I had the Passat, I lined the driver's seat w/ a white towel to prevent me from burning my legs & back. read more

I needed a rental car on short notice when the hybrid battery on my car failed, and I needed a car to drive until it could be replaced. The staff people at Enterprise were friendly and helpful, and rented me a car for a reasonable price. They also gave me a free ride to pick up my rental car, and back to my home after I returned it. We've never used Enterprise or this location before due to being long-time Hertz customers but due to a recent bad experience with Hertz's Camelback location we decided to try out Enterprise and rented a car from this location while our car was in the shop. We have nothing but good things to say about the location and the staff. They had a car available on short notice, the car was ready when we showed up, the location was clean and in a safe part of town, the checkout and return process were smooth and everyone we interacted with was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. I will say that they apparently provide pick up and drop-off service which seems to stress them out a little bit, although we did not need it (I just took an Uber from the location which was also quite easy), I noticed that they seemed anxious about whether I needed a drop-off. Assistant Manager Antonio experienced a very confusing power trip, claiming I was disrespectful to the person at the front desk. Fully unaware of whatever he thought happened.... He asked me to come outside, and threatened to not give me a because he didn't have to give me one if he didn't want to. Spoke to me like I had offended his wife or girlfriend. I said no problem. I said everything was cool and I was fully unaware the guy felt I was disrespectful. He continued to grill me and was very threatening the whole time, so I was way chill. Then... We went back inside, and a few minutes later he just says we're not going to rent to you. Jaw dropping... The most baffling behavior that I have ever seen renting a car. I didn't raise my voice, curse, or show any disrespect... I was only frustrated that I was told I have to wait 30 minutes for my car to be ready. Disappointing to watch a adult behave like a child, so petty. They'll also ask you for your hotel address that you are staying as well as you flight info in order to rent. This, I was told, is because they've had problems with vehicle theft. That's none of their business and a complete joke. Antonio is a first class coward of a clown. read more

Everyone is very welcoming at this location but Zach was the one who took care of me at pick up and drop off. He was awesome! Truly attentive and warm mannered without faking it. He explained all details to me and answered the few questions I had, he provided me a car that fit my needs and double checked that I was satisfied with it. I actually loved the rental so much that I'm considering purchasing the exact model I drove! Everything went so smooth and easy! Drop off was even easier. Always crap service. I really can't believe the associate told me to come back later, and he will explain it to me slower. They close in 30 minutes, was that a threat? Agent talked to me like I was stupid for telling him he knew when my charges would hit 1500 and my coverage would run out. In his fantasy land, they could never know. In reality, it's the daily rental rate divided by 1500. That would tell you the date you would hit 1500, not counting taxes and fees. Agent had to yell at me again and again until I told him to stop screaming and process the transaction. Two other associated came out when I asked for a manager and tried to push me off. Antoio at 4635 n 7th street phoenix az 85014 Clearly does not take pride in providing good customer service. I travel alot for work and use Hertz and Enterprise alot and have had good and bad with both but on 3-13-23 this was one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. My car was hit in a parking lot and was going in for repairs. I called the in to state farm after waiting months to get my car in the shop and 3 days before got told "okay we contacted the local enterprise and here is your reservation number for the 13th" They gave me my reservation number. I then proceeded to drop my car off at the body shop and go to Enterprise where my reservation was made. I was then surprised at the store when told "sorry all our cars are out due to spring training and its just a busy time" I replied with "really? So reservations dont mean you reserve the car....okay thats lame I have to uber home now ." While doing this I watch multiple cars getting checked out. I made the comment while frustrated "so they had reservations also?" She replied with " yes and they came in before you" (it was 8am and they open 7:30). "When do you have more in, today I hope?" "she responded with "yeah sorry but we should have more back around 1" "okay you guys have "we will pick you up" in all your commercials can you come get me then?" "yeah I will take your number and your address and we can pick you up between 3 and 4 okay?" I then gave her my information and went home and was working and on calls. 4 pm rolls around and I was not called or picked up, I then called and was on hold for 30 minutes and assumed I must have been in the wrong phone line so called back. I got in the car at this time and then when I got to the store it was 48 minute hold time and they were trying to close since it was 5:30. At the door was greeted by Antonio and "how are you doing today". I told him I was still on hold not doing well since I was supposed be picked up and was still on hold for 48 minutes at this time. "He replied with you can hang up now man" I showed him the phone and said "wanted to make sure you see that your hold time is nearly an hour man, why?" He had an empty lobby and stated "yeah we were just cleared it out and have been busy man". The shocking and frustrating part is there was 6 employees (this is not an exaggeration and 2 outside checking cars in) standing around the desk and again no one is there inside yet no one can answer the phone. There is clearly a "we are off soon and just going to no pick up the phone" vibe and terrible customer service. Antonio informs me "my agent stated you were rude and you are not going to be getting a car with us today" "what!?! Are you kidding me? " " no man you have a good day bye" " no way, I want a card and will be filling a complaint man" The others at standing and watching are giggling and smug at this point. He hands me a card after crossing out the manager's name to put his own". "Why did you not just tell me at the time you were not going to rent me a car vs having me wait and come back wasting my time?" He just stares at me with a smile and says again "goodbye". Overall this store is nearly comically bad customer service and extremely unprofessional staff and should not be in the service industry. If you need a rental I would suggest a different store at least due to very unfriendly or helpful staff at this location. Its not a company wide issue from my experience, just this store which is unfortunate. I had a rental for one week from this location that was paid for by the automobile dealership I purchased my car from. The agent who I was forced to deal with, Agustin, when I picked the car up was one of the rudest, most arrogant customer service agents I have ever encountered. (note: for over 20 years I was in a rental car at least 45 weeks a year while traveling for business.) He wanted nothing to do with me and made it seem like he was doing me a favor by assisting me. He was condescending and if I asked a question he snapped back at me with an abrupt response. He gave me his business card and it indicates that he is a Management Trainee. If that is the type of person Enterprise is training for management, I see a grim future for the company. If you see, by his name tag, that he is going to assist you, I recommend you ask for a different agent. I am giving a two star rating, instead of one, because when I returned the car the customer service was exceptional. Each person in the office was friendly and very professional. read more

Wow! What a great experience. My car was being worked on in a nearby auto shop and I needed a rental for three days. I made a reservation and informed them I would need to be picked up. The morning I dropped off my car I called and Jack was there within 15 minutes. Great service. Upon arrival I was instantly greeted, filled out paperwork and was in a car within minutes. Never have I been so embarrassed, humiliated, the feeling of preconception, preconceived notion of prejudging my situation based on employees that I never spoke to. Colby Brady (who wrote his name on an Enterprise card that was Zack Capes's assistant manager card. He said he was the manager with no card of his own. Spoke to me in front of employees, and customers (setting an example of RUDE, Misstatements of facts in regards to my long-time enterprise consumer/customer. When I entered into the establishment. I was told to have a seat. Walk-ins going in front of me, directly to the counter. I felt some prejudice as a silver member. I had a reservation confirm number: 1470018993 and earlier had another 1992122118 with mistakenly wrong address of the Enterprise location I have been going to for over 10 years. I was NOT told to bring documents supporting my current living address. After I took an Uber to 4635 N 7th Street because I was told I could not be picked up. I needed to make a 24-hour reservation for that service. When I told Colby Brady the recording when on hold says WE at ENTERPrise a family-owned business treat our clients like they should be treated, like they "MATTER" FREE pick-up (nothing mentioned about 24 hours), and when I gave my VISA/ DEBT card. I was told I needed to support documents. Of my address, A water bill that does not refer to my current living status. A cell phone bill I have with my current address, and a paycheck stub, that also does not apply when I was/ am the President/owner of a business I've owned for 17 years. I do not have a pay stub, but I do have my EIN and business bank statements showing my current address. An employee asked for a water bill. Extended stay is all-inclusive and included in the daily rent. I have lived at for over 4 months and the address on my Dir Lic I had lived at for almost a year. Colby Brady was putting words in my mouth, about an earlier situation he had nothing to do with. I corrected him and he said leave, you CAN NOT rent from here any longer. After 10 years of doing business, I have never had any situation as belittling as this with Colby Brandy. My business has been the same as when I was using at times, months of rental from Enterprise. As a silver member, with a long holiday, I have many family members coming in for a family event. Colby Brandy was NOT attentive and understanding, or proactive in solving a situation that easily would have been resolved, he did not act as a person who thought of the company he was hired to reflect. All the testimony words that are on the recording, when on hold. Colby Brandy is a poor reflection of the family-owned business. that the words while on hold say over and over again: Enterprise a family-owned business, takes pride and care, and treats our members the way they SHOULD BE TREATED! YOU MATTER For so many years, I've enjoyed doing business with EnterPrise over the years. How can one individual destroy all that I believed in and saw and felt, EnterPrise to be? he's the wrong person in his position, even IF he betrayed his position in the past positively, he acted as IF he was the owner, and never took into consideration how he might look, sound, or portray himself in front of 5 different employees and customers sitting waiting to be helped. he did NOT care how he represented Enterprise Rental a family-owned business!!! he did not reflect any of the words on the family-owned business recording, as I'm sure many customers while on hold (as myself) have heard over and over again. As a manager (if he is), he should reflect, on those words of keeping customers feel, they "matter" As an EnterPrise customer, all the great reviews can be demolished with one such act as this one by Colby Brandy. he shattered all those words over the years it took to develop, in one terrible experience as a person/ manager without his business card to hand to me. He showed and portrayed everything less than Enterprise advertising says, Colby Brandy did completely the opposite, he did everything to show in front of 5 or more employees and several customers his unprofessional actions. I never have had this embarrassing, negative rude situation reflecting on me in all the 10 years of doing business with EnterPrise. I walked back to my 5232 n16th Street phx AZ 85016, with no car that I happily had redeemed my loyal EnterPrise points towards this holiday weekend. She let us know that the wait would be about 15 minutes. She also gave us advice on where we could go for coffee/breakfast. Less than 15 minutes later, we were greeted and thanked for our patience. Timothy was well-spoken, attentive, upbeat and provided us with superior customer service. He offered us several options of cars to choose from and as luck would have it, he had my favorite. After a horrendous experience with Budget, we scurried to find a last minute rental the day of and we were so beyond thankful to find this Enterprise nearby. Our experience was night and day compared to Budget!! They reassured us and got us on the road as quickly as possible. Grayson was amazing!! We did have a minor hiccup with our car during this locations closing hours, but went to PHX airport and quickly got it fixed. Will definitely be back!! read more

Worst rental car experience EVER. Was told over the phone I could reserve a Tahoe to go to Mexico. I called back just to confirm once more since I'd been told otherwise before and another rep told me the same thing, that I could reserve a Tahoe for my trip to Puerto Pensaco. When I arrived, a man showed me a Nissan Murano, which is not comparable to a Tahoe, there's no 3rd seat. When I mentioned Mexico to the manager, he said they don't allow any full-size SUV's to go to Mexico, but that they could give me 2 basic sedans instead. Um no. After escalating to another manager when Spencer couldn't help me, they finally said I could take a minivan to Mexico (eww), but since my friends are already in town and the house is booked, I didn't have much of a choice. Then they wanted to still charge me full price after all this. When we finally get outside to check the car for scratches and pay, I hand a different manager my credit card, which he would not accept. Even though my card can be run as a credit card, since it says debit on it, they wouldn't take it. So now I sit here waiting for my husband and friend to bring a credit card to pay for it. NONE of this was told to me over the phone when I booked, and called back to confirm. NO ONE called me to confirm my reservation and tell me any of this. They even said if they let me take that Murano without mentioning Mexico, I would not have been able to get across the border without Enterprise as the owner of the insurance. So I almost just drove 3 hours to the border not to even be let across. Then I almost paid full price when Spencer or Ron wouldn't offer any discounts for all this misinformation and inconvenience. NEVER GO HERE. Spencer and Ron are the worst and this has been the absolute worst rental car experience ever. read more

We have been visiting Taos NM for a few days. Decided to rent a car to sightsee. We rented from Enterprise. The only person working at this establishment had at least 6 customers that he was trying to help. The employee was very patient with everyone especially since he was doing everything including the cleaning of the cars before signing them out. I must say how very impressed we were with him! He should have had more help,obviously but he didn't act stressed at all. Even when a few of the customers were getting aggravated. He deserves a raise. Don't lose this employee! Get him some help! If I could give the place negative reviews I would. I made a reservation 3 weeks before for a one way reservation. I recieved a call from manager less than a week before my reserveration to inform me that they would be unable to honor reservation. The reason from the manager was that it was their busy season and they could not afford to lose a car to the airport fleet. When I informed him that a new reservation would now cost me an addition $200 so the same lenght of time for a smaller vehicle, their was no response aside from I can't lose a vehicle to the airport. I recently rented a car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car at 4635 N 7th St, Phoenix, AZ. I made the reservation through Costco. I arrived to pick up my car (a Toyota Corolla) on a Sunday afternoon, not long before they would be closing for the day. I then headed off toward a relative's home about 30 miles away. I made a stop along the way and, after shutting off the engine, I attempted to remove the key from the ignition switch. However, the key was stuck in the switch and couldn't be pulled out. I tried numerous times to get it out but it wouldn't move. I've never, ever experienced such an event. I called the rental agency (they were going to close in a few minutes) and explained my problem. They suggested that I speak directly to their "roadside assistance" department and they transferred my call. The person I spoke to told me that they couldn't offer any mechanical service assistance to where I was and suggested I return the car and they would replace it. However, by this time, all of their branch locations in the Phoenix area were closed for the day so my only option was to bring my car to main location at the Phoenix airport. Well, I was about 40 miles from the airport and I didn't think that this was a viable solution. So, I decided to use a plan "B". I drove on to my relative's house and borrowed some solvent and lube sprays. It worked! I flushed out the ignition switch with both and I had no further problems for the rest of my rental time. When I dropped off the car nine days later, I was asked by Assistant Manager "Christian" if I experienced any problems during my rental. I told him everything went well, except for the "sticky ignition switch" issue. I wasn't upset or angry about it. I just told him what happened in a matter-of-fact way. I didn't ask for any compensation for what happened. He was nevertheless very concerned and he felt that I deserved a fee adjustment for my inconvenience. He then asked how I was going to get to the airport and how soon I had to be there. I told him that I was going to call for a taxi and that time was starting to run a little short to get me to the airport in time to catch my flight. He told me that he would take care of that. He then made a phone call and told me that a car would be pulling up in front within 10 minutes to take me to the airport - and he was paying for it. Well, I told him I appreciated what he was doing but I didn't feel that it was necessary for him to do all of this for me. He said it was O.K. and that he was happy he could help me. I know this story is long. But I believe it needs to be told. There's an old saying that says : "Do something right, nobody remembers - Do something wrong, nobody forgets". Well, I'm one guy who remembers what Christian did for me and he deserves a shout out. Customer Service must not be a focal point at this location. I scheduled to drop my car off on 01/12/2022 next store at Toyota Collision for damage repair due to an accident. The insurance company, USAA, set up and confirmed a car reservation with this Enterprise location on January 4, 2022. I called this Enterprise location on 01/11/2022 between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm and the representative that answered was extremely rude. I called Enterprise in order to make sure I had everything needed to pick up my rental for the next day. The snarly lady on the other end immediately tells me and continued repeating "I have no cars on my lot and not sure if I will have any returns tonight, I have 15 reservations tomorrow" I asked her what are my options? If I drop my car off tomorrow will I be able to get in a car? Again...."I have no cars on my lot and not sure if I will have any returns tonight, I have 15 reservations tomorrow" She finally gears away from her crude scripted statement to suggest an unrealistic solution. She tells me "Well you can drop your car off in the morning and come over and wait in the office for a car to show up" Excuse me, what?!?!?!?!?!?! She suggested I wait as though I have all the time on a Wednesday morning for a car to magically show up when she's made it clear "I have no cars on my lot and not sure if I will have any returns tonight, I have 15 reservations tomorrow." Apparently my reservation must have been #15 as she was treating me as though I was on the bottom of a totem pole. I then ask her about other locations. She tells me she's able to see their inventory however is not at liberty to discuss how many cars other locations may have available. Ok, you can't release that information however a decent customer service rep would have provided me with phone numbers to locations that may have cars. At this point I am completely over this conversation. Keep in mind I am already in a stressful situation trying to get my car fixed because of an unfortunate accident that was not my fault. I abruptly disconnect the call. I then called USAA for assistance. USAA finds a different location with cars available for 01/12/2022. This reservation was confirmed on 01/04/2022 and not one person from this office called me to advise a car may not be available nor provide realistic solutions. Thankfully USAA and a different Enterprise location was understanding and more importantly knows the definition of quality customer service. read more

Do not rent a car here, they have the worst service. Waited over 2 hours for a car, the car they give me is so bad that I don't feel safe. I have never seen a rental in such bad shape and was given to me with no gas, not cleaned, and looks like they sprayed it with a hose so the water stains are so bad I can't see among other issues. After a week asked for a new car in better condition and they tell me they have none. I called multiple times and every time told there are no cars. I drove by and they have cars so they will just lie and cheat to get money especially if it is through insurance. How is this place in business and treat people so badly. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. You are better off walking than renting one of their horrible cars. read more

I called this location for assistance and they kept me on hold for 50 minutes. When I looked at the clock I realized that they had closed for the day while waiting for assistance. Ended up calling the 800 number and got immediate service. Today I called, wanting to return the rental car and pick up my car from the shop. The young man who I spoke with placed me on a brief hold and then got back to me instructing me to simply take the car to the shop and the shop will call this location and they will immediately pick it up. I decided to call, to save time, and Angela, who stated she was the manager, was very unprofessional and argumentative. She stated that no one could pick up the car and that if I left it at the shop I would be liable for any damages. Inside the shop is an Enterprise Car Rental desk. They have a relationship (tumultuous at best) with this shop, so why would I be responsible for damages if they have a desk there, and reserved parking spots? The repair shop agreed with my observation of Enterprise's poor customer service. The manner refused to peroxide me with her superiors contact information. I could on and on. Moral of the story. I will never patronize this company again and will be in contact with USAA and come another grievance. read more

This is by far the only location me and my husband will use. Been coming here for years as it's not only convenient, but the best part is the customer Service hands down. We used to deal with Ben and Corey but they got promoted so very happy for them. Austin, Hannah, and Jamie are who we usually deal with now for rentals when we come in. We are platinum enterprise plus members and this team always goes above and beyond for us. We have rented daily, weekly, and monthly in past. The experience has always been pleasant, never any issues, and they are very knowledgeable and helpful. Great assets to your company and we are always glad to see people moving up with Enterprise. Worse nightmare of my life. And I'm sure, for the other 5 family's that were at the location. I arrived to 2 different locations to find out both my reservations were canceled, I had one for 8am one for 10am, both said no cars. Made another reservation at another location for 11:00am to arrive to hear no cars. Kids, bags, and no car, Uber after Uber. They told me they have no updates and can't tell me when they will have a car available. In total for today 5 Un-honored reservations... I called them over 20 times to be told a manager would reach out to me in 30/45mins. Never got a call. They told me I would have the next available car, Iv seen 8 drive in and they are about to close. Again I have no car. I feel defeated as a man and father to drag my family through the hell enterprises put us through. If there was no law, they would be sorry. I can't fathom the level of unprofessionalism in such a high regarded company. These are families man, not just a reservation... I am going to be pursuing a civil law suit for my time spent, money spent, meetings missed, potential earnings, Ect. I'm going to do it all my self. We appreciate all that the staff at this Enterprise did for us during our recent visit. For some reason there was a shortage of cars in Phoenix on this particular weekend Additionally, my wife was simultaneously having a medical emergency and we were having difficulties getting to the car rental agency. CJ waited for us after hours to accommodate our arrival and we were able to eventually continue our journey to Sedona that evening. Perhaps a small thing to some, but that was a small act of kindness that was much appreciated. read more
