I'd give it negative 5 if I could. Sent back my steak siciliano cuz it was so soggy and extremely oily. Ordered a chicken wrap....left it there too, even the chips were stale. All four of us left our food and uneaten. Daughter ordered a steak quesadilla and it was just ground beef and it was dripping in orange grease and didn't have cheese on it. Gross!!!!! read more

Had a craving for an Engine House Classic Square pizza, and man did they deliver. This is my go to place living locally in Mount Clemens for a great pizza. Alex was my waitress. She promptly took my order, got me started with a John Daly and the pizza was served quickly. It was better than expected. You can tell they are using the best ingredients and they have the best tasting sauce around. The flavor of this pizza made me dance in my chair while I ate it, so you know it's the perfect blend of flavors to make that magic happen. I think this is the only restaurant that gives your choice of classic or regular pepperoni. I got the regular this time, and it was sooo good. Best service from the lovely Alex. Had my first legal drink here on my 21st surrounded by family. Brought my wife here for our first date, great burger and beer and Jell-O shots to seal the deal. Last night was my first time there. I will say the staff was super pleasant and made us feel very welcome. The food was amazing and so was the impressive menu. They have daily deals that "kind of recycle", but I'm sure they're better than any corporate run restaurant. The feel like a sports bar with a ton of TV's everywhere, pull tabs, KENO machine (other Michigan lottery games can be played on it), a full bar, and a great menu with something for almost everyone. I recently tried this place for the first time and really liked it! The atmosphere is cool, inside an old firehouse. Don't see too many restaurants like that! It's a loud, friendly, casual sort of place. We were there during dinner hour and it was kid-friendly. We knew before we went that we were getting pizza. I didn't regret it! It was yummy pizza, and we got an antipasto salad with it, which was excellent. I enjoyed the salami, cheese, the dressing and the fresh green pepper slices in the salad. It's good to get some greens in before chowing down on all those carbs. I look forward to going to Engine House sometime again and trying a lot of other items on the menu. read more

This weekend I had some out of town guests and i didn't want to take them to a chain restaurant. Since I like going to Mt. Clemens every once in a while, I chose Engine House. My out of town guests are also into public safety and absolutely loved the decor at the Engine House. My sister ordered a bacon cheese bbq burger without the bun, we had pizza and the other dude that was with us ordered the cajun chicken wrap. Not too shabby of a pub. While the inside looks great and definitely has a fire station feel to it, the food (at least what I ordered) was a bit bland. Good selection of beers though, so that's always a plus, as well as a friendly bartender who was attentive. Usually this is a good place to eat. Their Pizza's usually have plenty of toppings and are well made, but today was the exception. We ordered a their classic pizza, but what we got was a sparsely topped pizza that was left to burn and the pizza sauce was almost none existent. All the topping had burnt edges & so did the crust. Frankly I was surprised that the waitress would have brought that thing to the table. I showed the waitress and she offered to take it back, but as we were in a crunch for time, we didn't have time for them to make us a new one. I will go back again, but if we get this type of low quality of food we will take it off our list of restaurants. The bill with the tip was $30, but It sure wasn't worth the price. Whenever we visit MI and are in the Mt. Clemens area, Engine House is always a "must stop"! The atmosphere is inviting as is the food. Service is generally always good & efficient. Just recently enjoyed a Classic pizza and Caesar salad. Still as good tasting as ever. read more

I went here for the first time last night and it was SO GOOD! I got the build your own burger with carmelized onions, cheddar cheese, bacon, and lettuce! The fries are my fave kind - battered. Also, my fave kind of pop! Mountain Dew! Service was okay! I'll be coming back and bringing my husband so he can try it! Something funny - the ranch burger was on special and my friend and I couldn't figure out how they incorporated the ranch! Was it seasoning? Dressing? What? Turns out it was three different types of meat that are found on a ranch! haha! read more

I love the Engine House!! And I'm finally writing a review. It's my favorite neighborhood pub. Great, casual, friendly place to hang out or watch a game. I've never had a bad meal here. My favorite pizza is their amazing BLT pizza, and their cheese bread is cheesy perfection! However, on my most recent visit, I decided to try the build your own pasta. You pick the noodles, the sauce, and any meat you might like. I went with spaghetti with a garlic/oil, topped with shrimp. It was delicious! They were very generous with the shrimp, and they were decent sized shrimp, too. I was impressed. And the pasta is served with a side of buttery toasted garlic bread. I also love getting a free jello shot when a train goes by! read more

Two time Iraq Combat Veteran. Don't go in public often. Hospitality with the servers was Deplorable. The Manager Sat us within 5 mins; he was a decent individual. Pizza was Very Good. Will not take away from their food. Not their management. Nor their bus girl who was killing it tonight. Hospitality was forgotten in the title of Hospitality Industry portion of the Servers Job Description this evening... Asked for proper service as a paying customer 6 times and was "Wait one seconded with her finger twice." After 5 mins went by and still no service; new individuals were served; A dispute then occurred due to this. Three Servers gave extremely dirty looks to where their eyes were leaving their sockets; All jumped out on out party of a girl, old man, and Iraq Vet; demanding that we leave. -All we asked for was hot sauce for our pizza. -6 times. After The dissatisfying service; I pulled the manager aside. Owned up to raising my voice to Demand Service; A mutual agreement to try and finish the meal was made.... Though that was not possible. -Friends of ours whom bought One round of beers for us prior to the dispute; DENIED Us Any more Service based on the notion of not liking whom was asked to be served. -Immediately upon this incidence I approached the manager directly; Asked What the reason for this was, Are we ANY WHERE NEAR Approaching the legal limit; He Answered " No I don't; I see nothing wrong with that!?" He Did Comp our meal; and kudos for him. Even furthermore these waitresses had their friends approach our party and slam 3 Tabasco sauces on our table to state that no matter what We were not welcome; even if management said different. (This occurred around May 2022) After dinner and drinks at Three Blind Mice in Mount Clemens, my wife and I dropped our friend off at home and decided to have a nightcap and check out this place we had driven my numerous times (we live two miles away). Bellied up to the bar and it took a while to get some drinks but it was busy so fair enough. Our two drinks came to $13; I handed the bartender a $20 and went back to talking with my wife. Finished our drinks and left. I asked my wife if she left a tip and she said the bartender didn't give her money, she thought I had it. Thus, we discovered the bartender helped herself to a 45% ($7) tip on a $13 tab. The thieves that work there can take money from whoever else wants to go there, but it won't be us. I was pet sitting for my daughter for five days and went to the Engine House for dinner three times and sat at the bar since I was by myself. I'd give the food five stars. I had the slim Johnny, the chicken wings and a pizza on those occasions and they were excellent. The first night Gina and Briana served me and they were great. Very personable and friendly. The next two nights Vicki and AnnMarie served me and the food was great but the service was at best adequate. Didn't feel very welcomed. read more
