Great food and decorations. With my grandfather being a firefighter, I was overwhelmed with the walls and tributes to our people of service. I will be back and I can't wait to try more items on the menu. Our party was not disappointed by any of our food selections. The drop in a star was due to the slow service during a slow time. Wish I wasn't thirsty as I devoured that amazing spicy burger!

The food was awesome! I didn't get to take a picture of my chicken fingers or the burger. But holy moly the food was so so so so delicious! I would love to eat those foods every time! The service was amazing, the lady is so nice to us! I'm very glad she got to serve us. The building is a beautiful place! It is so spacious. I would definitely come back here again! I'm so glad that this place is here. And there is karaoke on Saturday at 9pm here. Anyone can sing. This is a good place to go to with family. I would definitely recommend to come here! I love this place!

My Mom and I stopped in last night to place a carry out order. The last time I was at this pub was years ago when it was named The Flying Machine. All I remember back then was they had a badass grilled chicken veggie pita. Sure enough they still had that as an option on the menu, score! My Mom and I ordered three grilled chicken veggie pitas, well done. Last time she ordered one the bottom of the pita was soggy. Kim at the bar was great making sure she got our order correct. Also asked if we wanted anything to drink while we waited. Our meal was delicious! Just as good as I remembered it! Fresh veggies, juicy chicken. And the fresh cucumber sauce. Yum!! I'll definitely be returning soon. Specials nearly everyday of the week. Gameday specials and live bands too. Check Facebook for all the deals and menu.

Homemade pierogies, Glumpki (soelling?), including the sauce. Awesome sauerkraut and two types of sausage, although I do prefer the smoked, both go great when dipped into a horseradish mustard sauce that they give to us upon request. I'm not a big potato pancake person, but it was homemade and prepared correctly. I also grabbed a side salad and it's not cheap iceberg salad, rather a nice variety of greens. They even catered to me when I asked for extra dressing because I like to drown my salad! I got a couple of Polish beers and they have a nice bourbon selection. My wife wasn't feeling Polish food, so she got the pork chops, which smelled great and she said were delicious. Two large cuts, right off the grill, and a bunch of sides. No complaints! The waitress was very accommodating and service was perfect. It was pretty busy in there, but she handled all of the tables and we never felt like we had to wait for anything. Cool atmosphere on the inside and plenty of parking, just a nice place to hang out and have dinner, stress free. They also have several TVs so if there's a game on, you'll be able to watch it. Also a long bar with locals if you want to hang out and have some company.

Now The Bad...The polish plate was not good at all. The best part was the boiled potatoes. The golabki (stuffed cabbage) had no flavor and cheap spaghetti sauce was used instead of traditional tomato sauce. The fresh and smoked sausage, sauerkraut, and pierogi had no seasoning and was extremely bland. The wife ordered the polish sliders, and she couldn't even finish one. The best part of her dinner was the french fries. Even the tap beer we ordered tasted skunked. If you're looking for good polish food I suggest you make the trip to Hamtramck.

Here, it's referred to as the "pit master platter." This comes with 4 meats (beef brisket, pulled chicken, pulled pork, and ribs), BBQ street corn, cole slaw, and sweet honey cornbread. The brisket and ribs were flavorful and tender. Both of the pulled meats were enjoyable, as well. As someone who's not a big fan of cole slaw, I ate the entire side. The street corn was delicious. I was happy that was an option, as most BBQ establishments don't offer it. The honey flavor in the cornbread was noticeable, and added a sweetness I appreciated. As for the sauces, there were 3: Asian, island heat, and whiskey. All 3 sauces were made well, but the whiskey definitely complemented the meats the best. Call me a glutton, but I also got the twisted mac & cheese with a ghost pepper sausage. Despite liking the platter as much as I did, this pairing was my favorite part of the meal. I find that most restaurants dry their mac out, but that wasn't the case here. The ghost pepper sausage was to die for, and had a very tolerable level of heat. High quality BBQ is hard to come by in Michigan. So far, out of the 10+ places I've been to locally, this easily ranks in the upper half.
