Cool joint in SCS. Nothing fancy, good burgers, good apps, crisp onion rings and good service. The place is updated, clean and comfortable. Just the place to grab a quick dinner and relax. Great place! Out and about on a Saturday and decided to stop in for a drink and some lunch. Super clean, friendly service, and some great food. My man Jamison behind the bar was serving the entire place and he was exceptional. Apps and burgers came out of the kitchen quickly and our beers and pop were never empty. Great food. I'm not a big food photo guy but trust me. My kid got the sliders and loved them. My burger was on point. Great service with a great positive attitude. We will definitely be back. read more

Good place if you like a bit of more quiet local hangout. When I go it's usually for drinks with friends before dinner time, so around from 4-6pm. If you are young, don't go during the time above if you are looking to part of "the scene". The place is mostly full of people 65 years old and up. Up to their 90's some of them. Z's is a clean and under-the-radar gem of a corner bar. All the bartenders are friendly and attentive -- they really hustle. They're all real people. You won't feel like a number and you won't wait long for service...even during peak sporting events. The patrons are a mix of regulars and small groups meeting after work and before and after games and such...laid back, working class, friendly. No one's looking for trouble here. Good food and especially clean!! It's a dive bar that everyone gets to know everyone as I've never seen a negative experience while I was there. If you haven't been, go and give it a shot and you won't be disappointed. I take my younger kids for lunch and every time they food and atmosphere were awesome! What a fantastic place. I had dropped in there about a week ago just to get a drink because my mouth is so dry. And boy did I walk into a gem.I had lunch there today and it was excellent. Generally a pub like this is not my vibe but I am giving it five stars because this place really achieves a high mark in this category. One indicator: They had a spotless bathroom. People who put that much care into the bathroom clearly take pride in their place. The owner interacted with me in an authentic way. Dawn was a great bartender, attentive but not hovering. We love Z's pub! The new owners who opened Z's in the former Tudges location, obviously take great pride in their new space. They keep the place extremely clean. It is a small, friendly atmosphere, and each time I go I see many familiar faces. The staff is always so welcoming and friendly. The menu has grown, but is limited to what we call "bar food." Don't let this deter you! Their burgers and sliders are fantastic! It's clear the oil for frying is always clean and fresh. The cook takes pride in the things he can offer to the guests. read more
