Absolutely love Engine House. I am gluten free and I have to say that the GF pizza here is one of my favorites of all time. It's not super thin tasteless like many other places. They also offer GF buns for burgers and sandwiches. I also enjoy their salads including their Michigan salad. My husband really likes their deep dish pizza and their burgers. If you're there when the train goes by they give out free jello shots. I hate jello shots, but it's nice that they do that! read more

Visited recently and the atmosphere was wonderful. I had the white flatbread which was delicious and the crock of French Onion Soup. The soup was honestly too salty (for my taste) so I did have to add a half pack of sugar to counterbalance but besides that the meal was delicious as a whole. Our waitress was very kind and attentive but I felt very rushed during the entire meal which was off putting. Will definitely come back a different time of day and try other menu items for sure read more

All the food was fantastic. We had the app tray , a Mediterranean pizza , a burger and the fish and chips carrot cake for dessert . Everything came out quickly and was delicious and very reasonably priced ! This place is a gem. read more

It's one of our faves! Best calamari around. Every time we come here, we end up ordering 2 of the calamari apps (just for 2 people), lol. My go-to is always the Seared Ahi Tuna (light seasoning). Going into this I was expecting more, the sandwich's bun was undersized, and wish was toasted , but I digress the onion rings were cold and honestly I was hopefully some flavor on the rings but unfortunately it was Bland. Food is amazing. From scratch cooking with amazing specials. Love the short ribs, garlic mashed potatoes and fresh asparagus. Ribeye is a great quality, wish it were larger only so it would be easier to cook to a medium rare. Veggies are cooked from fresh. GF buns/pizza. From whole meals to a burger you can't go wrong. My fiance and I go here quite a bit, this last time we went, Sunday the 2nd wasn't the best. We switched it up and got something new this time. We were frankly disappointed. I got the burger and he got the Alfredo and meatballs. We didn't finished our food unfortunately bc we couldn't handle it. Even more so in nice weather as they have updated their outdoor seating area with cute tables and red chairs, and a nice tent canopy to keep the sun out of your face. So we are trying to get in some new spots before the shut down. I have driven by this spot for years. I used to work at "St Joseph's East" when that was the name of the hospital. Always wanted to come in her and never did. But we did today. It is a repurposed fire station. We loved the atmosphere! The service was just...meh. Nor great. The food was just ok too. They do a good job with the food and the drinks are solid as well. Prices are very fair and the service is usually very good. I like the pizza and pasta; my wife says the cobb salad is amazing. It gets very busy in the evening, but if you come around lunch time on a weekend you can get a seat right away. Definitely worth a visit! read more

I very much enjoy the pizza. Pizza is my favorite food so it is easy for me to pinpoint stuff I do not favor with a pie. It was definitely good. First time I went there they made me an extra free pizza because two slices for my small got dropped when they were putting it In the oven. Very delicious and good compensation. Also went there last night. Nice server, fast service, good pizza again. Only thing was they forgot to put the grenadine in my coke but came around and gave everyone Jell-O shots who wanted one. Our service was wonderful. Our server was very attentive without being intrusive. She brought me water refills as I have a dry mouth condition that requires lots of water with my meals. She didn't even know that so that was pretty amazing for me. The food came to our table piping hot and delicious. The mac and cheese was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. Green beans perfectly cooked. I had the walleye special. Perfectly breaded but was a little bit dry, still delicious. My boyfriend had the Ahi tuna cooked rare. He says it was fantastic.
