I had to get something from there because It's close to my place so i went there and ordered a chicken sandwich and fries and coke for 13.79, the food was disgusting and the price was high and the restaurant is not clean it's like garbage and the people are dirty. I can't believe how the city not close them and get something better with clean people read more

Ordered my food online & when tracked it gave me an estimated time & told me it was being prepared.. Arrived a few minutes before pickup & was told that they hadn't prepared my order because their system never received it but they would began making it. The 3pc whiting consist of mostly batter & barely any fish.. I also received a smaller fry than what I paid for. After my food was done (although I had proof via email that the order was placed, payed for, & was showing via tracking that it was being prepared), the guy hesitated on giving it to me as if he wanted me to make the payment again.. After making my family who have previously patronized the store aware of my experience they shared stories of experiences far worse. I have no interest in visiting this store again!! read more

i love it here the customer service is always great and so it's the food use really close to where i stay so i can easily just walk there.

On 9/4. I ordered 5 pc wings only which should have cost me $8 plus taxes. I was charged $49.23 by a new employee. I wasn't upset because the kids was so sweet and he was visibly upset that he had over charged my debit card. A young lady walked up and asked the kid did he need help and he explained what happened. I wasn't upset and they told me they can't void transactions without the owner she then proceeded to call the owner. He apologized and stated he would give me the wings for free and he would call his bank and have the charge reversed. The only proof I had of this incident was a photo of the receipt in which the young lady wrote "void" on it. I wait 8 business days and never received my refund. I had to call my bank and dispute the charge. I've had other bad experiences at this location such as super long wait times. (45 mins for a shrimp and fries combo). I have learned my lessons and will never go to this location ever again. read more

I've always been hesitant to try this place from the reviews. Well today I decided to stop. Ordered the chicken tenders and Cod fish. First off the chicken tenders are huge, probably one of the best I've ever had. The cod was fresh and flaky with a corn meal batter. I will be returning read more

Fresh and crispy, ordered 30pcs of chicken and everyone loved it. Would order again for sure. Have to try fish and shrimp next time.

First and my last time eating here. I don't know what I was thinking. The catfish tasted like regular white fish like from long john silvers. The breading was too thick and it came off the fish. The wings was okay. The only thing I can't complain about is the fries. read more

I am sitting here while they make my entire order over again. 6 employees and 3 customers and can't get anything right. A lot of horsing around and nobody working. Incompetent people except for this cook. He is the only one working. The food is going to be cold and wrong most likely. Wow! This is the people that will be running things???? Will not be in business long. $50 dollars shot to hell. None are wearing their masks properly either! God help us all! Well, I just got home and as I thought everything was terrible. The fish was clear and when I smelled it it had a bleach aroma to it. Something is very wrong with this food I will post a few pictures and hopefully you can see what I'm talking about. They failed to put my Receipt in the bag I'll $50 worth of food that we could not eat. Take a look read more

I ordered the perch combo. Just got okay taste like something Gordon's or other frozen fish you would buy at the grocery store. The restaurant did not have any Tauter sauce or butter. Floor was sticky. It was a ten minute wait but that is okay. I would weather have my food fresh and hot. Fries are good. Roll is just average.. poor customer service read more

Everything. We had a work lunch in and we called 2 DAYS prior to make sure everything would be ready by the time we picked up and NOTHING was ready we had 3 orders of mac&Cheese and we only got 1 pan and everything was not completed until 11:30. They have 2 Days in advance to make everything and have everything ready and still nothing was done until today. Will not be coming back read more

I knew better but my curiosity got the best of me. The service was wonderful. The ambience needs a lot of help. Not enough chairs not enough tables. Reminds me of a 7 mile Coney Island vibe. Fish was the worst I've ever had ever they put enough lemon pepper to choke a cow. It was so salty. I see why everybody has hypertension. The chicken was actually good but I asked for an 8 piece legs and thighs and I received an eight piece chicken. read more

If I could go lower and rate a 0 I would. manager is slow and always looks lost, they service people who come in after I do. I've seen my food given away multiple times and when it happens theres no apologies. I just have to sit and wait. the times I've sat in there for over 45 minutes waiting on 3 3pc tender meals is insane. today was the final straw. horrible service, horrible wait times and horrible management. read more

Only giving two stars because the restaurant gave me a full refund. Every piece of chicken was full of feathers and the bone was dark brown/bloody. Mashed potatoes were pure salt. They forgot to give us our coleslaw. Just a gross experience. read more

I thought this was going to be good but ended up being some of the worst food I've ever had! Deep fried Cod was overdone-very dried out. Mac and Cheese tasted like plastic! All food was barely warm and to top it off, I waited approximately 20 minutes for it and only one person ahead of me. I tried calling to speak to a manager and nobody answered. Absolutely zero ambition and certainly no concern for quality! read more

Ordered food for a New Year party days before. Got in to pick up food, they said at first they cannot find the order then eventually they found it but has no name and no number. Now they said they can make the order but it will take an hour. Waited for an hour and called them to check and said it will take another 45 mins. CANCELLED THE WHOLE ORDER AND WASTED MY TIME. Incompetent service and does not care about customer service. Unreliable and bad management. read more

Terrible terrible terrible! Should have known when we walked in and our shoes were sticking to the floor how bad it was going to be. The man at the counter had zero personality and barely could hear a word he said. After we ordered and were waiting, a lady and another man came up front to discuss something that should have been a private matter. The floor was so disgusting you can tell no one has mopped in well forever... food all over tables that we had to ask someone to wipe it off and still there was food on it after she wiped it. Bathroom... so gross! Should have went to Juan Miguel's behind it. The health inspector needs to pay this place a visit and ASAP! read more

Captain Jays Fish - Not completely cooked - Chicken Wings Near Me - Clinton Township, Michigan

Wings were mid and I couldn't taste the lemon pepper seasoning. The fish, which was full of bones, tasted like I had offended the chef's mom, grandma, and great grandma. Yet, I don't know them. No amount of seasoning that I added myself could salvage it. Just a mouthful of nightmares and trauma. The drink machine was dispensing watered down drinks so that was a fail too. Fries were decent. The coleslaw was swimming which seemed sus so I ain't touch that. Probably won't order from this chain again, or at least not this location. read more

Well, to start my wife's order was done and mine wasn't. They were going to wait to give her hers until my food was done, but hers would be cold. They forgot to make her hushpuppies completely. The coleslaw tasted spoiled. Chicken was edible. They don't give you any condiments (what? Tartar sauce with fish? Gasp!?!) Crappy coated fries, whether real potato is debatable. Don't come here. read more

Food order was wrong, terrible communication skills. Management is unapologetic.. I'm very disappointed. No stars would be more appropriate

I've been there about 3 times. First time I ordered fish and chips. The fish was way over fried. And taste less. The Mac and cheese is cold and if you want it hot ( warm) they can pop it in the microwave for you it will just be a couple minutes. I thought we got a lot of fish come to find out it was so bad no my family wanted to eat it after their first bite. Then the second time I ordered over the phone and I ordered chicken insides went to pick it up my order was all wrong by the time I got home. Sides were left out. Chicken was over fried some hard as a rock. Third time and last time I ordered I ordered dark meat chicken and a bunch of chicken wings. Once again dark meat chicken was over fried and Just dry. My wife just stop me making this review thinking I was ordering from this place again and she ran in from the other room to stop me.! Any way when I was eating the wings one was good but than I ate another one that you could taste it went sour. You know at home when your making chicken and you open it and it smells sour do you cook it ???? No ! This tells me they don't rotate there chicken just new on top of old.
