Engine 6 pizza was fantastic! Easy to order, delicious tasting food and polite staff! The place is small but we took our Gluten Free pizza to go and it was super chewy and easy to bite and wonderfully gooey and ranchy and chicken bacony!! The gluten free chicken tenders were also delicious and baked to perfection!

i'm gonna make this short and sweet. I've been going to engine six for many years. Never had a complaint about the food. I ordered from there tonight and it was the worst food I have ever received. I could've made better pizza and stuffed manicotti if I had bought it out of the freezer at the grocery store. Would not recommend this place at all.

Wow. Amazingly good. Abundant sauce and a fresh gooey cheese. Cooked to near perfection, easily one of the top 10 pies I've had, and was well worth the trip from RI. And to that, friendly personable staff, and you have a grandslam. Really the only knock on them is that there's only a couple spaces in front and in back for parking.

GF pizza is very good. They make their own dough, and have desserts available too. Staff is friendly, and the order was correct, and ready when I arrived. Strong recommend for Gluten Free pizza!

This is a great pizza shop in Norwich with a big history. Obviously it used to be an old fire station, but it's like a museum inside!! It's wonderful to take a look at all the patches and history on the walls. Be sure to support your local small business, and if in Norwich, Engine no 6 Pizza Co is a must!! - The Air Force Recruiter

Pizza was soooo good, not to mention the delivery was quick and accurate! I had the loaded potato pizza, it had sour cream as a sauce which was genius and so tasty! I placed my order online and even put the tip on card so we could safely delivery with social distance! I would totally recommend it if your in the area!

I greatly enjoyed Engine 6 pizza. A couple weeks back I ordered a meatball and sausage grinder from Engine 6 pizza. When I received the grinder it was in such a mess the paper was embedded in to the cheese. I called and they immediately made another grinder which was great. The second grinder was completely burned and I ordered it non toasted. The delivery person, Whose name I'll leave out of this review, saw the grinders and stated he would bring another back to me. About an hour later I called to check on the status of my grinder. I was informed by a young woman that the owner stated I could not have another grinder nor could I have my money back. Then, the delivery person came on to the phone and said I could have my money back. I tipped well, I paid $30 cash for the grinder including tip and did not get a grinder and never received my money back. Unfortunately, I will not be using this company any more. Many of us order from work, I tell them about my experience and they are surprised, but so am I. It's sad that business is done this way. I relied on Engine 6 due to not being able to leave work to get food at least once per week. And the food tasted good. Maybe they got a new cook? Something went wrong. Now I order Chinese.

Seriously this place should be closed down. I tried one last time to order from here. I ordered online tonight and waited 1 hr 20 minutes. I was being patient because last time we ordered it took 90 minutes. I finally called after the 80 minute wait time and they claimed they never got my order. That is total bogus I received a confirmation email with a number and everything. I seriously think they deicded not to make my order because of my previous yelp review. So infuriated right now I cannot believe these people have stayed open.

We absolutely love Engine 6, not only for their food but also for how kind their staff is! We tend to order the same thing, salads, gourmet pizza- as pictured the Hawaiian. Such tasty food, made with care. Support small businesses!!!

The idea of a pizza place in an old firehouse is pretty cool. The service was good. The pizza was not memorable.

We also really enjoyed the fact that he waited until we were about halfway done with our appetizer before he placed our entrée order with the cooks. He made sure that we had enough time to finish our appetizer before our dinner plates arrived, which was a very nice touch. There are not many restaurants and staff that do this. We tried the charcuterie, board and bread for our appetizers. The charcuterie board presentation was beautiful and it was a very tasty board as well. The bread was good, but nothing outstanding. Myhusband ordered the paparadelle and I ordered the rigatoni. Both dishes were very good. The restaurant also treated us to a complementary celebratory dessert of tiramisu, which was a very nice touch.

The seats are all really comfortable looking, the service was fast, attentive, and friendly. The menu isn't vast, so there's faith that the food is being cooked for real. Tried today were: A slice of regular cheese and Sicilian cheese pizzas, a meatball grinder, and seafood ortolana (from the specials menu). Sicilian cheese - thick crust that wasn't too heavy. Very airy and crunchy. The sauce is a little sweet, but the overall slice was really good, especially with some parmesan added on top. Regular cheese - thin crust, crunchy but still pliable. This one needed the parmesan because I felt it was pretty bland on its own. Meatball grinder - soft meatballs with mild seasoning, that sweet sauce, melted cheese, on a bread that was toasted but not overly flavorful. A solid grinder that is acceptable in every way but not blowing you away. Seafood ortolana - while this is a special, I can see that they know how to mostly cook seafood (the scallops cooked way too long and were tough as a result, but the shrimp and calamari were just right) and pasta. I like that the vegetables were cooked to where they still had a bite to them, no one wants soggy squash. There was a flavor tone that I was never able to pin down, I thought maybe propane? jarred minced garlic?, something with a sweet back end but sharp front end. In any case, it hovered on the edges of every bite, becoming inescapable and not overly pleasant. In general, this is a good restaurant, I'll be trying other food here in the future and can say that I'm confident you could have a nice meal here too. In terms of handicapped access, their main parking lot has one spot, but then steps to get in. A single parking spot with ramp access is available on the back side of the restaurant, looks to be where employee parking is as well.

First before I go into any of my food reviews, I have to tell you come prepared it was absolutely freezing in this restaurant it seemed like they had the air on. They say they tried to call people. It was frigid in there the entire time. To start off our trip to Tuscany we agreed with a very pleasant waitress who was very quick to take our drink water in any appetizers. We were then greeted with some warm bread, olive tapenade and hummus. Which was a very tasty bite. Our lemon martinis with a sugar rim or fantastic. Our food came out rather quickly. The lobster bisque was a good portion. It had nice pieces of lobster in it not too thick not too salty probably one of the better ones. I've had the meatballs came out with a portion of four large meat meatballs topped with ricotta cheese, very flavorful and tender. Thankfully, all the food stayed hot while we had freezing cold air blowing on us. Next thing may sound a little weird, but they redid the seating covers on the benches and they're made out of this leather Ish suede style material and when you try to get in your clothes, don't move with it so you kinda have to hop in and out of your seat or else, your clothes are gonna roll. While it gives you a warm feeling of the atmosphere it's not very easy to get in and out of your seats. Overall, it was a great trip. I only give the three star ratings because it was really freezing in there and almost unbearable because we didn't have jackets. Just be prepared and enjoy!
