Jack's Brick Oven

We really liked our experience here. Our son is special needs and currently has oxygen and is on a monitor. The hostess was gracious is giving us a table with plenty of room for him and his gear. Our waitress was so friendly and kind to our son as well. She even brought him some crackers to snack on. We ordered the garlic knots and you get so many! They were very fresh and delicious. Just make sure you like garlic (a lot). We ordered a brick oven pizza with pepperoni, sausage, bacon & roasted garlic. Pizza was great! We would have liked it to be cooked a tad more. Next time we will ask for it to be well-done, but that is just our preference, not a knock on the restaurant. Food came out very fast too!

A very pleasant Italian eatery experience. I ate in at Jack's for lunch and it is clear this should be thought of as more than just a pizzeria. The seats are all really comfortable looking, the service was fast, attentive, and friendly. The menu isn't vast, so there's faith that the food is being cooked for real. Tried today were: A slice of regular cheese and Sicilian cheese pizzas, a meatball grinder, and seafood ortolana (from the specials menu). Sicilian cheese - thick crust that wasn't too heavy. Very airy and crunchy. The sauce is a little sweet, but the overall slice was really good, especially with some parmesan added on top. Regular cheese - thin crust, crunchy but still pliable. This one needed the parmesan because I felt it was pretty bland on its own. Meatball grinder - soft meatballs with mild seasoning, that sweet sauce, melted cheese, on a bread that was toasted but not overly flavorful. A solid grinder that is acceptable in every way but not blowing you away. Seafood ortolana - while this is a special, I can see that they know how to mostly cook seafood (the scallops cooked way too long and were tough as a result, but the shrimp and calamari were just right) and pasta. I like that the vegetables were cooked to where they still had a bite to them, no one wants soggy squash. There was a flavor tone that I was never able to pin down, I thought maybe propane? jarred minced garlic?, something with a sweet back end but sharp front end. In any case, it hovered on the edges of every bite, becoming inescapable and not overly pleasant. In general, this is a good restaurant, I'll be trying other food here in the future and can say that I'm confident you could have a nice meal here too. In terms of handicapped access, their main parking lot has one spot, but then steps to get in. A single parking spot with ramp access is available on the back side of the restaurant, looks to be where employee parking is as well.

Ham and cheese calzone.

We got a medium pizza, a calzone, gluten free pizza. We had ordered garlic knots. Which we had to go in to order as she forgot them. We sat outside on the patio as it was a nice day. I also got the coco special which is coconut tequila and pineapple juice. The Margarita pizza was dry, and the gluten free Fresca pizza was good while hot and fresh, then when cooled it was not as good. The calzone was great. Lots of chews and ham, plenty of sauce, got soggy as it sat so eat everything while hot. I enjoyed my calzone and would order again.

Our server was very cordial and polite. Drinks and food were out promptly without an issue. Pizza is good, cheese could have been melted more on the garlic bread. Prices are a little high but I guess that's "authentic Italian" Only negative thing is the "clean" plates were greasy and smelled like bleach/sanitizer. Sadly it transferred to my pizza and the taste was on my food

Everything was perfect! The food was delicious! (Especially the garlic knots) and to top it off they are dog friendly!

We were in the area and after seeing reviews we decided to try Jack's Brick Oven Pizza. This was a great call. The food was spectacular. This might have been the best Calzone I've ever had in my life. The service was very helpful. I would recommend people try the food here.

Place looks awesome driving by, finally went in, glad I did. I'll be going here every time I'm here in my hometown. Dave Portnoy should check this place out because the pizza is delicious. The chef prepared it for me in under two minutes. It looks just as nice on the inside as it does on the outside, very good ambience.

Four stars, only because of my waitress. Note this was my experience as a first timer here. Came here solo today to try the restaurant out. Unfortunately, My initial feel of the restaurant was negative due to the lady who was at the front. when I entered the restaurant, I was greeted by a employee who or speaking very quietly. And I said I'm sorry I can't hear you, what did you say? She said you can sit at the bar. And then proceeded to walk him three guest the walking right behind me I want to see them first. As a first timer to the restaurant, each patron should be treated with respect. It's not a very bad tone to start out. She came back to the front after seating the party of three to tell me i could sit at the bar or at a booth and then took me to the area where there was no other patrons. It was dark there. She didn't offer to get me anything to drink and left me at the table. The waitress that took care of me, Tracy, was very nice and knowledgeable of a man in the drinks that were available. I'm glad I had her as a waitress vice the lady that greeted me at the door. While I was looking over the menu that same person walked by and said Shrimp Bisque soup and then said louder, did you hear me? I said today's special is shrimp bisque soup. I ignored her like she did me at the front door. Then the same woman she sat another couple behind me and asked them what they wanted to drink . There is so much on the menu, it is very hard to decide and it took me forever, it seemed, to choose something. I ended up choosing penne ala vodka with shrimp and mushrooms. Meals come with a salad or soup. She said the Bisque was really good and she recommended it. So i went with the bisque. The food was really delicious. Meat was seasoned and juicy. Garlic Knots were huge and the bisque was so flavorful. Recommend these items.! I ended up with three to go containers.... Thank you to my waitress for making my first time here a good experience. Definitely helped to make up for the rocky start. Ambiance is casual but romantic with the Italian music playing in the back ground. Old and young both patron this restaurant. Will i come again, maybe but not completely sold on it. Hopefully, the manager will provide some additional training to those on staff.

Such a nice compliment to the main flavors. My partner orded a vegetable penne dish but substuted capalini for the penne. The dish was rich and flavorful. She had a glass of Pino Noir. The wine was delicious. Although the restaurant has no windows the murals on the wall really made you feel like you were in Italy. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. There is large tree in the center of the space that immediately makes you feel at ease, as if entering the garden at an Italian villa. The lighting is muted and the interior is tastefully modern with leather chairs and white tablecloths. Our server Corina was very friendly and welcoming, answering our questions and making us feel at ease there. They have a nice selection of wines by the glass as well as bottles. We had Mascarelli montepulciano and Whispering Angel rose, both very good. I also had a Bourbon Peach Smash, a peach-y version of an old-fashioned that was tasty and refreshing. We started with burrata - amazingly fresh creamy mozzarella served with crostini, "cherry bomb" tomatoes and aged balsamic. Great way to start the meal! For our mains, we had chicken parmesan (extremely fresh and tender chicken & mozzarella with a hearty red sauce) ordered with a side of broccolini and their pork chop (grilled, red chimi, fingerling potatoes) - a thick and tender chop that was one of the best I've ever had, and the red chimi added a delightful little zing to it. For dessert, we ordered the affogato (wonderful vanilla gelato drowned with expresso at the table) - wonderfully decadent and delicious.

The complimentary Parmesan cheese they serve you in so darn good, I wanted to eat the whole plate. I opted for their Malfaldine Pasta and it didn't disappoint. However, after trying some of the rigatoni pasta I would definitely order that next time! It was so flavorful and the perfect combination of sweet and spicy. The only miss for us were the mussels; on the fishy side and not edible for us. For dessert you must get the affogato!

But I'm a very Big of this buffet. Also I had an excellent waitress by the name of Sarah from my previous visits. Unfortunately Sarah wasn't working here today and I introduced to my New most favorite waitress Elyse. Elyse is so full of charm and energy and an awesome personality. Excellent customer service skills, and Elyse made our visit to Todd's English Tuscany a real treat. For starters I had to start with my staples Eggs Benedict, Garlic flavored Greenbeans, a nice assortment of fruit so delicious and flavorful, and my true Love the bacon. Now I never really eat too much bacon when I'm in NYC or Florida but here they make the bacon with such an awesome flavor I'm extremely happy that I don't live close to the Mohegan Sun Casino because I'll be having this bacon everyday. Unfortunately, it was a major letdown, especially with a celebrity chef's name attached. Started with a really tasty cherry margarita and thought we were off to a great start, but really felt like, as another review mentioned, a pricy Olive Garden. Apps: The best of our meal was the caesar salad ($19). Shrimp cocktail ($21) were barely passable as they were rubbery and clearly overcooked. Entrees: --Brisket pappardelle ($48), spinach pappardelle, white-wine braised brisket, shaved pecorino. A disaster. Listed on the menu as one of "Todd's favorites," the pasta was way undercooked, stuck together in a gloppy, tasteless sauce. We left more than half of it (and noticed the table next to us did the exact same thing). For nearly $50, this was inexcusable. --Chicken parmesan ($42), large portion, but completely mediocre. Okay marinara sauce, but nothing special. --Filet mignon ($52), cooked to the requested temperature, but looking back at the menu, it was missing the listed demi-glace entirely. No wonder it tasted so lacking. --Parmesan fries ($12), suggested by our server to pair with the steak, but they arrived cold--and our waitress disappeared for a long while so we couldn't send them back. One final tip: The restaurant is kept freezing cold. Forewarned if you're in shorts and short sleeves. With Todd English's name, expected much better
