Honestly this review is a long time coming because I love this place. I have been coming to Enfield Nails for 4+ years (pre Covid - I'm so glad it survived!). This place is clean, prices are normal, and has a great selection of colors. All pretty good, but that's the easy part. What makes this place special is the way it is run. There are an above average number of stations open at all times. The check in process is easy and quick, and I rarely have to wait. When I do, it's because every single nail station in the building is in use and the business is simply busy. I always get beautiful results here, and I come back because of how chill and professionally ran it is. Given the area, I honestly think their prices are good - I don't leave feeling ripped off, even after tip. If you are low maintenance and tip cash, they will remember you and you will get treated like a friend by the technicians. I love coming here and being treated like fam, I think it shows so much about the kind of business this is. Also - the lady at the front who answers the phone is no nonsense. She is a gem, treat her professionally and she will return it (in a direct, no nonsense way - she's a boss who runs a serious business). Love this place and the staff. read more

I am in Austin for work over the summer and needed an acrylic fill. I was able to get in early from my appointment, which was great. My tech seemed to not only make fun of my nails, her attitude just plain stunk. I also saw every other tech give their client a neck or hand massage- I got neither. The reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because my manicure was really good. However I felt like I was treated unfairly from everyone else in there and that didn't feel good. read more

So far my nails do look fine but we waited for over 30 minutes to get seated (we were on time for our appointments) and by the time we were finally in the chairs we weren't able to get the pedicures we'd planned on bc we were too tight on time. Totally get that when it's busy, things get backed up but be honest and upfront with customers about delays! I go to get my nails done as a stress relief but this was stress inducing. DONT GO TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN! They absolutely suck. They totally fucked up ny nails and then made me pay full price. I expressed MULTIPLE TIMES while she was doing them that it wasn't right, asked her to fix, and left with the worst nails I've ever gotten. I was shocked when she told me to pay full price and got the owner, who said oh yes you must pay full price for services. Like what???? I paid $115 and and additional $20 tip for gel pedicure and dip manicure with tips. 7 days after, my dip manicure was all lifting and one nail peeled off. I went back to the nail salon and asked them to redo the one that fell off and if there was anything they could do to stop the others from lifting (like add glue at the base where it was lifting or something). I was verbally harassed by the staff and she accused me of pulling on the nails and subsequently told me that they didn't see any lifting despite it being evident. I was not asking them to redo them or anything I just expected my dip manicure to last more than 7 days. This place doesn't understand the term "the customer is always right". One day after the redid one of the nails that fell off, another nail peeled off. Will never come back here again. Also strongly disliked their mask requirement policy. read more

When it's busy they will rush and not give any personal attention. Manicures are so fast and they look horrible. When they are not busy they are a little better. Some staff is nice the rest don't speak to you in English and just talk amongst themselves. They also usually lie about the wait. I've been getting my nails done pretty regularly since I was a sophomore in high school. Usually, a set will last me about a month, although structurally they could go longer. Usually I'm a colored acrylic gal, but this salon doesn't do that, which is fine. So I did acrylic with a gel overlay. Gel application looked good, but even before I left the salon I could tell the acrylic was way too thin. Three days later the corners of one nail were chipping and the acrylic, gel, and my natural nail had broken off. I don't have tips, just natural nail. I was annoyed but the damage was minimal. Exactly two weeks after I'd gotten them done (the day I'm writing this), a stress fracture in the acrylic and gel formed on one finger, fully across the nail plate and about 10 minutes later the thumb on the same hand lost a corner. Again, I usually have a set last me about a month, and even then I replace them out of aesthetics not because the set is breaking. Very disappointed, price point is not cheap and it came well reviewed. Unfortunate. read more

I've been going to Enfield Nails regularly for about 2 years now, and even though the color selection is very limited and prices are on the higher end, Tami and Lucy did a really great job consistently. However, my last visit was very bothersome and I will be looking elsewhere for nail services. The manager insisted on charging me the $10 SNS removal fee although I was going from SNS to Gel- which is the same process for removal!! My nails soaked in Acetone for 45min while I was getting a pedicure (BURNING toward the end!!) and then the SNS came off in one swipe! I was BLOWN AWAY that the manager insisted on charging me extra for this torture to myself where no extra work was needed from the technician. I told her that I would understand a removal fee if I weren't getting a comparable service, but that I did not feel it was reasonable and she still insisted on charging me. So, I hope the $10 was worth losing a regular customer. ALSO! The technician exfoliated the wrong part of my foot and cut me during the pedicure. At this point, the negative is definitely outweighing the positive at Enfield Nails. read more

Just moved to the neighborhood so decided to try Enfield nails because they have rave reviews. This leaves me to think that service has declined A LOT since those reviews were posted. This was all around a bad experience. I made an appointment for 6:00 and my toes didn't touch the water until after 6:30. It was abundantly clear they overbooked themselves as everyone else had appointments at 6:00 too. No one greeted me at all, and their card machine was broken which was honestly pretty sketchy. While I left with soft feet and a solid polish job, the service was pretty terrible and it wasn't a pleasant or relaxing experience in any way. I wish I hadn't spent my money here. read more

The women at this salon were incredible! They did both my pedi & shellac mani at the same time which saved ME so much time. The young woman who did my shellac mani absolutely BLEW ME AWAY!!! She was so incredibly detail oriented that she didn't stop until all my finger tips matched (I got a french manicure). It is so sad that I do not live in Austin because this was the BEST manicure I have ever gotten!!
