This is a review of the 2013 model SWIM SPA by Endless Pools, NOT the vinyl liner pool by EP. I have been an Endless Pools owner since December 2013. After 3+ years of owning and consistently using my swim spa I feel now is the time to write an objective review of the product and the service I received from Endless Pools. First off, you and/or your family have really got to LOVE SWIMMING in order for the expense of the swim spa, expense of professional installation, expense of ongoing proper maintenance and heating bills, AND potential problems to be worth it. A 17' swim spa with the configuration/options I have along with shipping/delivery will set you back $25,000 or more. Professional installation is NOT included in that amount. Unless you lay concrete for a living along with being a licensed electrical contractor do not attempt to install an EP swim spa as a DYI project! Be prepared to spend $30,000 to $40,000 for a complete project. This is a true luxury exercise item, not a splash pool for the kiddies. I have been a lap swimmer for over 40 years and I swim in my EP swim spa at least 3 times a week all year long. You also must be prepared to spend time monitoring and adjusting the water quality as needed. Our pool is uncovered ONLY when we swim in it - this is a huge help in limiting evaporation, maintaining water temperature and keeping consistent water chemistry. What I have: * 17' Endless Pools Swim Spa with Swim Current * 2 Jetted Seat Spa configuration * Electric Heater with UV System * Enhanced Light Package * Silver Marble spa interior with Slate Permawood exterior panels * Digital Swim Pace Display * End2End Swim Spa cover (not an EP product, but HIGHLY recommended) What I use to maintain water chemistry: * Nature2 Cartridges (1 cartridge per pleated filter) * The Spa Depot Oxy-Spa (non-chlorine oxidizing shock) * Baking Soda to adjust pH and Alkalinity UP when needed * SunGuard Sunburst Fast Shock (ONLY used when Nature2 Cartridges are replaced and need to be "conditioned" per instructions) * PleatCo Filter Cartridges The GOOD: * I can walk out my backdoor and swim whenever I want for as long as I want without sharing a lane at a gym or public pool. * Great versatility in adjusting the swim current speed. Smooth continuous current with no chop. * The Digital Swim Pace Display is a MUST if you want repeated current speed accuracy in your workouts. * Very comfortable spa seats with very good jet adjustments. * The 17' swim spa size allows for 2 people to use the jetted spa seats while a 3rd person swims "laps" with the swim current without disturbing each other. * The interior surface of the swim spa has held up perfectly. * You are the master of your own water quality and the types of chemicals you use. The Just OK: * Length of warranty and warranty service (see below) * NOTE: EP did ultimately honor the warranty for 2 separate claims. They did not honor my 3rd claim. The BAD: * Swim Current Motor was defective from the get-go and kept tripping the internal breaker. * Took several phone calls to EP Customer Service with me ultimately being told to remove the service panel AND hold my cell phone to the Swim Current Motor while it was running before EP Customer Service believed me that the motor was defective. * Ridiculously poor design to access the motor and other service-required parts! God help you if you have to reset an internal breaker. We ultimately installed handles on the side service panel. The UGLY: * The Permawood paneling does NOT hold up to normal weather conditions (20°F to 105°F). After 1 year the paneling on the south side of the pool completely buckled and pulled away from the insulation. After 2 years the paneling on the east and west sides did the same thing. EP DID send replacement siding for the south and east sides. Believe it or not, I do not regret the purchase. HOWEVER, EP should make improvements to the overall quality of their Swim Spas AND offer a much longer warranty. Happy swimming!! read more

I have been an Endless Pool Owner for over a dozen years. I first heard of Endless Pools through a friend and took my first swim while in Kona Hawaii for the Ironman World Championships. My wife and I decided to buy one for the convenience of being able to swim and train when I want and not when the local pool just happens to be open. One great benefit to an Endless Pool is never having to try and share a lane during crowded pool times. Especially when you know most of the swimmers just don't want to share "their" lane. I use my pool at least 5 times a week. I have completed 39 full distance Ironman Triathlons, including 10 in Kona. I have completed over a 100 marathons, climbed all 58 14,000 foot mountains in Colorado and who knows how many other trail runs, triathlons and cycling events are in the books. My endless pool allows me to keep fit and ready to compete no matter what kind of event I might be training for. I have used it to speed rehabilitation efforts after injuries sidelined me from running and biking. The folks at Endless Pool were extremely helpful in guiding me toward both the purchase and installation of the pool. If I have a question or need for maintenance supplies there are always there. Buying a pool is a big investment but in money but it is even a bigger investment in your health and wellbeing. My investment has already paid off. I turn 71 in 2019 and already have two Ironman distance events on the schedule. I would and have recommended Endless Pools as a life style investment. Our family highly recommends Mike Drohan and Endless Pools! We began our research on Endless Pools in 2019. An Endless Pool is a relatively smaller (in ground or above ground) swimming pool in which a machine produces a current that you swim against for exercise. But if you choose not to run the machine, it becomes a traditional pool filled with loads of fun. Our sales representative, Mike Drohan, did a fabulous job guiding us through the process of learning about, and ultimately buying, the Endless Pool product. After comparing the Endless Pool company to other similar products, we found that the technology was far superior in Endless Pools. Endless Pools requires the customer to contact them by using their 800 number. We were initially anxious about buying the pool that way, but our anxiety quickly diminished once we began working with Mike. He never hesitated in answering any of our questions and since there aren't any showrooms to observe the pool in action, Mike suggested that we visit someone that owned a pool in our area. We loved the experience and suggest that anyone thinking of buying an Endless Pool try it out like we did. As mentioned, Mike Drohan was always available and helpful and their customer service was, and continues to be, extremely helpful. The exercising feature is amazing and the fun truly never ends. Just a side note, as a result of Covid our 2 young granddaughters enjoyed the people almost every day this summer. And a few hours later, I turned the machine on and I was good to go!! I ordered a Hydraulic Tune Up Kit for my Endless Pool on June 29th -- Order #449468, $2,512.84 total including $233.90 in overnight shipping. I placed the order over the phone, and while I was still on the line, the rep looped in their warehouse team, who directly confirmed the order and told me it would ship that same day. It is now over a week later. The order has not shipped. When I call, customer service can't find any status on it in their system at all -- not "delayed," not "backordered," nothing. They've told me it's "escalated," but no one can tell me what that actually means or when I'll hear back. They do confirm that my card was charged the full $2,512.84 and that they have my money -- they just can't tell me where my order is or when it's coming. I have a pool that's been down for over a week, an order that was verbally confirmed as shipping same-day, and a company that can confirm they've taken my money but can't confirm anything else. I've been a customer for a while and this is a level of service failure I haven't experienced from them before. If you're considering ordering parts from Endless Pools, get shipment confirmation in writing before you pay -- a verbal confirmation from their own warehouse team apparently means nothing once the charge goes through. read more

I have been the proud owner of an Endless Pool for the last eight years. My pool is located indoors, humidity is not an issue when using a cover on the pool. Maintenance on the endless pool is minimal. The additional electrical costs are minimal. I have experienced "zero malfunctions" with any of the pool equipment, it is a very reliable swimming machine. If you are an Olympic swimmer, you cannot out-swim this machine. I believe this pool would be "very beneficial" for folks with arthritis, back or hip issues, or any type of neurological or physical ailments preventing them from walking, running, or exercising regularly. It is clearly the best investment I have ever made for my health and my future; no regrets. My recommendation for any interested enthusiasts, call endless pools, request to test swim in an Endless Pool near your home. Once you physically see one of these in operation and swim in it, you will understand the true benefits this machine will bring you, in the privacy of your own home. Unbelievable service, well above and beyond normal expectations. I purchased an Endless Pool counter-current system here in the UK back in 2009 - some 17 years ago. It immediately changed my life, making me much fitter with just a bit of use each day. Occasionally one expects to have service or maintenance requirements and Endless Pools must be the best ever company to assist when things go wrong. Their resident expert, Paul Fleming, is incredibly patient and will go to enormous lengths to talk you through the troubleshooting steps and ensure that your problem is solved. Parts from the USA frequently arrive in a week. I feel so grateful that I chose an Endless Pool. I didn't appreciate this when I purchased my pool, but having easy access to specialist maintenance advice is, I now realise, probably the most critical requirement for the long term performance of any pool. We recently purchased a 12-foot Endless Pool swim spa, and it has been a perfect addition to our small city backyard. After our daughter lost her leg to cancer, we wanted to create a safe, comfortable space for her to focus on fitness and recovery, and this swim spa has been a huge part of that. With her limitations, public pools were challenging and uncomfortable, but the swim spa allows her to get in and out safely, without worry. It has also given our family a space to relax and spend time together, which has been so important after a tough year of chemo and recovery. It's great therapy after her workouts and physical therapy, and has kept her motivated to stay active and pursue martial arts again. We installed an Endless pool way back in 2002. That means that we are totally experienced in everything required in maintenance and up keep. There has not been a problem that Endless pool has not been 100% capable of addressing with parts (when necessary) or just advise. We have enjoyed the pool all these years and just wouldn't want to be without it. We use it for both exercise and play (my grand kids love it). I start everyday with a 15-20 minute swim. I'm 66 years old and my doctor has told me that whatever I'm doing for exercise to keep it up because it's working well. The swimming (actually snorkeling the way I do it) is so pleasant that it doesn't even fill like exercising. I would strongly recommend Endless pool both product and company to anyone considering a pool. read more

I Love my Endless Pool! It is easy to maintain, I love being able to control the temperature, I can swim any time of the day and also with the Underwater Treadmill at the extra 54" depth, it now has become even more valuable to me as an elite athlete who sometimes has to deal with injuries and strains being able to do non weight-bearing workouts. My husband and I installed it following the directions, watching the install video and 2 calls to the Endless Pools Tech-line. I use it daily and cant imagine my life without it. read more

Love our Endless Pool which we've had since 2009. Customer support from beginning to end has been outstanding! In first month after owning, had doc visit, and the doc who knows I work out a LOT, asked me what I'd been doing different, as blood pressure (medicated) was down. Told doc about the pool. My wife and I have owned an Endless Pool for 25 years; I swim (500 strokes a while ago, about 350 now) every other day. A great product that always works! Few things have gone wrong in those 25 years except I replaced (myself) the underwater motor every 5 or 6 years. Talking with Customer Service at Endless Pool has always been good. In fact, I consider Customer Service to be the best I have ever found, in any business. 5 stars. read more

Bought a Fastlane Endless Pool locally (UK) to put into the pool and installed it myself. Had a number of questions and Paul at Endless was superb, taking time to reply to emails and also talking me through a few of the more complicated elements. Super helpful and very patient.
