DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I purchased my Endless Pool about 18 months ago. I spent over $60,000 on this complete piece of GARBAGE. I loved this pool for the first 9 months, but then things started to go wrong with it. Endless Pools has the absolute worst customer service of any company in the USA. For the past 9 months, I have had nothing but trouble with this product and the company will not give me any service. They only have one person to represent them from Miami Fl to Melbourne FL and that person cannot seem to fix any issues I am having. He tells me I need to contact the company but they keep giving me the run around and meanwhile I cannot even use the pool because the circulating pump does not work. Therefore the pool is slimy and full of bacteria. My advice to you is to look into their competitor because you will be wasting your money on this product. Their sales staff is very slick and very eager to sell you the product. They will hound you endlessly trying to make you think how great the product is but then they will not even talk to you once you have paid for the pool. I live in Vero Beach Florida so I hope they read this review because they certainly know who I am since I call them every day for service. I am one of 63 customers who received a recall notice from Endless Pools five years ago. The UV generator was a fire hazard - immediate disconnection recommended. As of July 2022, no one in the group has had the issue resolved. Endless Pools will not respond. The UV equipment contractor, Delta/Evoqua, will not respond. We are on our second fastlane & couldn't be happier! The first was built in so when we moved we had to get a new one. It was easy for my husband to install. We love it as do all our friends that get to enjoy it. Sometimes our pool is just a great big spa! It looks great, is quiet but very powerful when you want it to be! We bought a house with endless pool and hired an authorized contractor Jeff Coyle, who was suggested by endless pool. Pool heater needed replacement but we also update the motor at his suggestion and paid him approx $6 k for the work. Pool only worked for a week and after that current would not turn on. The contractor refused to come and repair suggesting that we should get another company for maintenance and his only job was to update the parts! We contacted endless pools and got the answer that they only recommend contractors but have no affiliation with them. We contacted three local big pool companies and they all refused to work on the pool stating that they are not authorized to work on endless pools and can only help us with the water maintenance. It has been 2 months of sheer frustration, not to mention the electric bills of $1200 per month since the heater is installed. Which could be justified had the pool been functioning but.... Bottom line is that the pool is great IF it functions. The day you run into problems you are done. There is no customer support and unless you yourself are a contractor and can fix issues yourself, remember that you will not find many service providers willing to fix your pool. Before you embark on this project make sure that your state has enough endless pool contractors not like CT where we do not find anyone. I first posted on posted on July 1, 2022. Since then we've got a few days of use out of the pool current. When the pool works it's great. However, after being at a conference for five days I came home to the current not working again. Endless Pool had already shipped a replacement board that was installed a few weeks ago. But it looks again that the board is bad. I followed instructions from Endless Pool to try resetting the remote controls which I had to do previously because the current would change without any prompting. One remote does not connect at all. The other remote blinks but does not work to turn on the current motor. when it did work, the current kept turning on and off by itself. After resetting the remote, it worked well for about a week and then the current kept increasing itself, turning way up, or off by itself while I was swimming. I can't get the car to turn on at all now. Once again, I have a $40K small above ground pool. read more

Terrible customer service! These are expensive pools but apparently the customers shelling out the money should just feel privileged to own one (even when they aren't functional)! The customer service is non-existent, we've had multiple problems with our ordering including the wrong products being sent, missing pieces and items not available (for over 5 months now). The answer to everything is "sorry", but that's all. We have been offered absolutely nothing other than to just deal with it, we now have spent over 60k getting this pool/install and surround and are now committed. They obviously know that we are stuck, so are willing to do absolutely nothing to get us up and running with the pool or offer any compensation for all of the problems. I work as an office administrator at a major pool company out of Loganville, GA. We installed a Fastlane on a clients pool in 2014. When the client started having issues with their Fastlane we reached out to Endless Pools Customer service who gave us two technicians that service our area. Both technicians refused to schedule a service call to our clients home to address the issues. How they offer a two year warranty on parts with technicians that refuse to come out boggles me. We contacted customer service a total of 6 times and was never able to make it to anyone above the call center. The quality of customer service and integrity offered at this company is slim to none. We will not be recommending this company to any of our fellow pool builders or clients in the future. Pool builder and consumer beware. read more

EDIT: For some reason Yelp has me listed as living in the Bay Area. I don't live there and I want to clarify that point because my review reflects my experience with installers in my region - which is not the Bay Area. It is challenging to rate my Endless Pool (EP) experience. If I was to rate my swim experience with the pool itself, I would give it 5 stars. The current is smooth and 1 month into using the pool, I love having such a great form of exercise in my own back yard. Now for the horrid experience of finding a Factory Trained installer. EP installers are given extensive training and they are given territories. Part of the incentive to be an installer is to know that you will be given referrals in your territory. The downside to this arrangement is that the trainers have a sort of monopoly. In my case that meant that the first estimate for the hardscape was outrageous. To be clear, there is a guaranteed fee for "assembling" the pool but then this installer gave me a quote that felt like a true gauge for the hardscape. I complained to EP and they sent another guy from a nearby area and he took the same outrageous approach. I complained again. Third time is a charm. They finally sent me a gentleman from an even further territory and he was truly a gem. I can't say enough positive things about this man. Because he was from out of the area I needed to find an independent contractor to complete the hardscape. This 3rd installer was extremely conscientious and patient with my contractor. I did however end up having to place my pool above-ground because the in-ground installation was beyond my budget. Bottomline. Put the cart before the horse. Get quotes from installers BEFORE you buy the pool to make sure the overall project is within your means. EP will NOT issue a refund or partial refund. Would I do it again, meaning buy the pool. Probably. It is an amazing machine. Would I get bids before the EP installer has me over a barrel. Absolutely! read more

I cannot imagine not having an endless pool. It is great for relaxing, exercising and entertaining grand kids. They love riding the current. The upkeep is nothing. We built a room for ours so we can use it rain, shine or snow. After use I pour a little bleach in and close it up. It truly is best purchase we ever made. read more

This company is the worst, especially their customer service. They were not clear on their design, so our lights ended up behind the steps. They only refer one contractor to you And when it had to be fixed, they are refusing to pay for their mistake. Also absolutely do not believe their "guaranteed installation cost" it costs multiples of that, and when we complained they just said "oh that wasn't meant for your state!" To top it off their infrared light was faulty and they asked us not to use it because it caused fire. After a few months, now that the pool is installed and the contractor is done, they came up with a new light, but they again want us to pay for installation of this new light. when I complained that this is going to cost extra now that they have to come back, they replied that " many of their customers are waiting for their new solution, and you should feel lucky that we are giving yours to you. read more

I had a heat exchanger fail which is a warranty item and item was told it would be shipped December 3rd. I am still waiting. It has been down to 17 degrees here. I am waiting for other items to fail because of their neglect. I intend to post videos on you tube, Twitter and Facebook to make sure people are aware that once they have your money, they ignore you and do not care about resolving any issues. They also had me purchase a sanitizer for 1000.00 that is not usable due to a recall. They have not made this right either. read more

I was really looking forward to having an endless pool. All their promotional materials made it seem so enticing. But as I got more involved in the process I noticed that they pass on a lot of their cost to the customer. For instance they charge a hefty amount for delivery to the customer which in my opinion should be paid by the company. And when you order the pool the price skyrockets as you add more options which again in my opinion should be part of the initial price for the pool. But still I put all those apprehensions aside and went forward. What stopped me was the installation. This they contract out to their trained factory installers. The installer gave me a bid in which I was being charged five thousand dollars just to bring the product up the stairs to the pool site. This was in addition to the four thousand dollar cost to install the pool. When I complained to customer service there was absolutely no recognition that I was being price gauged. No one raised an eyebrow at the excessive price my install was costing me. This is when I realized Endless Pools does not have your back. They sit back while you pay through the nose. When I stopped payment on my check which I had already mailed, then they paid attention and agreed with me the price was excessive. By then it was too late. They lost my trust. They might have the only product in town and it might be a great product but they have a very shady business model and it works against them. Here's the thing. If you yourself are a contractor or something of that sort then go for it. You can do most of the work yourself and save yourself a lot of money. If you're not then here's my advice. Endless Pools has referred me to a local approved service technician here in Los Angeles Tim Madigan he has been very helpful with repairs and servicing my pool. He is very knowledgable and through. Recently, I had an issue with my pool and Tim with the help of Endless Pools technician and customer service team in particular Keith Stebbings we able to trouble shoot and resolve my issue. Poor Customer Service. Their Fastlane systems do not work well with saltwater pools and found out that you have to replace the motor and hoses every two years at 1,000.00 after purchased. Was told could not return the unit by the Rep. A lie. Was told they had upgraded the unit and they would last longer in salt water. A lie. Their FAQ says they will work with saltwater pools, but don't mention the finer points of high maintenance costs. I do not trust this company. The endless pool spa from watkins spas of californa - purchased endless pools. We purchased this one based on watching and reviewing the reviews. I think the facts are disheartening. It came less than a month ago, the first week we noticed that when you swam in it the jets went to the left and not in the middle. The sales people called the manufacturer and they stated it was because no one is the spa swimming. So we than stated we are in it and it does the same thing, the jet is less than 6 inches deep the machine makes bad noises and the jet pushes the swimmer to the left as well. They than had the tech, come out and when he spoke with watkins support they stated this is how their machines work. No jet stream, not 20 by 20 as advertised and the stream is only to the left. I recommended that this is a lemon and the manufacturer just does not want to admit it. It is less than a month and we are asking for a refund since it does not work and the manufacturer stated they are aware that it does not work. Amazing..... read more

I work for a very reputable custom pool company based in New Jersey. We just got completely scammed by Endless Pools. We called up the main office to find out if we can send a client to see an actual install. They gave us an address in New York City. We sent the client to go see the pool and the client came back and told us that he signed the contract with "our guy" and gave him a deposit. Our company did not sign any contract or receive any deposit so we asked him to explain exactly what happened. He explained that when he got to the installation in NYC the person that showed him the pool gave him Endless Pools corporate number to call. He did just that and closed the deal directly with them instead of going through us. He thought that this was the normal process because that is what the salesman for endless pools told him. To make a long story short this company is a complete scam!!!!! They get you to send your client to see their installations and once the client is there alone they steal him from you !! When we called the management department to report what happened they confirmed that the story is true but they won't do anything about it. They went even further to say that they won't sell us their pools anymore because my boss got upset that they stole the job. The thing is that my boss is very intelligent and he recorded the whole conversation with Mark (upper management) and he got him to admit the whole thing on tape. We will be sending a copy of the recording along with a detailed report of the incident to the Better Business Bureau and to every pool company we can contact. read more

We researched different types of pools for 3 yrs and visited the PA showroom for comparison purposes with other types of pools. The answers to our questions led us to choose a typically-chlorinated 10x15 endless pool, which trained installer installed partially in-ground & outdoors in 2015 at our Raleigh NC home. We have had an Endless Pool for about 10 years. I did the installation myself with my family's help. It was smooth and the directions were clear. When I did have questions I called and got the answer right away. I had to purchase a couple of PVC fittings but the rest was all in the shipping containers. Since that time, 10 years using the pool on average 3-4 times a week with no issues except the heating element has gone out twice, most likely due to our hard well water. When this happened I called Endless Pools and they helped me troubleshoot the problem and then got the heating element replacement in the mail right away. I have never replaced the water and do all the maintenance myself and have it down to a simple science requiring 3 treatments a week and changing the filter every 2 months. So for our family it has been a great purchase and we continue to use it regularly. My pool is also on the demo list and is available to do a test swim almost anytime in Santa Fe, NM. read more

I purchased an Endless Pools Swim Spa in 2012. It has been nothing but a headache. 1 - The swim current pushes the water out the back of the pool and onto the ground. 2 - The swim current stalls by the time it reaches my legs so it is impossible to actually swim. 3 - The electronics are so finicky that it shuts down all of the time and has to be restarted. This is usually not a huge problem, except when it does it over the winter, which it did this year for the 3rd winter in a row, and the pool water freezes and cracks every fitting in the pool. I also had to replace the main pump, the recirculating pump, and the main circuit board. If you're thinking of purchasing a product from Endless Pools, I highly suggest you reconsider. read more

my original endless pool installed in jan 2019. plus: the swim current feature is probably unique in the industry. way better than that provided in swim spas owing to return channel. this plus overall outweighs all the frustrations and pricing that comes with buying and setting up one of these. i'm focusing on the issues i've faced below so future buyers will be better prepared for the process and features. 1. the installation cost is predetermined and you get a local installer. its overpriced for the amount of work the installer performs imho. you pay the installer directly and ep (endless pools) is not involved other than giving you the reference. you can install yourself but there are tricky steps. the install does not include insulating the pool, nor finishing the outside look of it, nor getting your pool water chemistry correct. 2. heating the pool. comes with a barely usable electric heater built into the ep controller. in my view worthless. you need to buy some other form of heat if you want to use it year round. that means either a heat pump or a gas heater. i didn't want to buy propane. if you have natural gas, it probably is the way to go if you really want to heat in cold climates in winter. i got an icebreaker heat pump. it works okay if outdoor air temp is 45 degrees or higher. otherwise it ices up too much and they manufacturers haven't figured out yet how often to put it into defrost mode. i also wanted to heat at night for lower utility rates. makes heat pump even more challenging to use since ambient air temp is lower at night. it works best in full sun during the day. if you plan on going solar, than you may want the heat pump no matter what. you can then add a second gas heater for the coldest months. 3. the ep comes with intouch / gecko controller. the electric heater is built into the device. the keypad is pretty much useless to me. it has "smart winter mode" which can't be overridden. what this means is if the ambient air temp is 59 degrees or less, the software will run your pool pump 24 / 7 to prevent freeze. obviously 59 air temp is a long way from having your pool pipes freeze. the only solution i found was to buy an aftermarket timer to control voltage to the gecko. i got an intermatic 7 day electronic timer. still dialling it in. a 365 days timer probably better since my programs will vary drastically by season, which means i'll have to be reprogramming it all the time in terms of what timers i set. please note: i'm talking about ambient, outdoor air temp, NOT the water temp at 59 degrees. the gecko has an outdoor air temp sensor that dictates the incredibly stupid "smart winter mode." 4. delta uv sanitizer equipment. i did not buy with my pool. it is available as an option. i bought afterwards and bought the biggest one i could find. these don't burn much energy but they kill bacteria. seems to be working well. 5. automatic retractable cover. i bought it at great expense. this is a tough call. i really wanted not to have to manually open and close the pool cover. but the price is obscene. and you pay another grand plus for installation of it. it's not very well constructed. and you also are forced to buy a "cover pump" which removes rainwater off the top if your pool is outside. which means you are manually pushing this pump on and off the pool cover if rain threatens. a pita. i don't have much confidence in this cover being troublefree. and the key that controls it is clunky: you have to positively hold the key and it takes quite a lot of finger pressure while you are waiting for it to open and close. for the price paid, this setup is very unrefined and clunky in the extreme. i don't see why it had to be run hydraullically with its own separate hydraulic motor pump and lines. couldn't they just make a simple electrically driven cover? 6. the way the pool pump and the pool current is set up. ep has set it up so that you can only have one or the other on but never both at the same time. i'd kind of like to be able to heat my pool at the same time i'm swimming in the current!!! instead, they have a complex relay setup so that when you click on the current generator, the pool pump cuts off. this is a stupid arrangement. but they seem to care more about keeping electrical demand lower so smaller diameter wire can be run. it would have been so easy to run sufficient power to operate both at once. or at least give users the option to do it either way. 7. shipping cost. for what you get, the shipping cost was astronomical. i advise all buyers to push back on the shipping cost. i should have questioned it. they used j b hunt which is why the price may have been high but i can't help but think they are marking shipping up to capture more profit. 8. my pool has some curves in the finished product. both the long sides of my pool are decidedly curved; as well as the frame for the auto cover. read more

While the pool itself and the current generator have worked well for two seasons, as a "do it yourselfer" I found: 1) their assembly guides/info sheets are terrible. Pictures are poor, instructions are inaccurate, and you have to figure a lot out by yourself. If you add a heater to the mix you have to get help if you're not an accomplished electrician. Also, contrary to the video, it's not a simple task to set up the pool, even if you have the area prepared. It takes 2 people at least two solid days. fIn the video they do it quickly since they've either done it often or they splice out the real work. 2) If you want their treadmill, be aware that it raises the bottom about 6" and it does not work smoothly. I have to admit, I haven't called tech support since I tried to use it so I hope this can be corrected. 3) It doesn't appear that the Endless Pool people really care to make you happy. You really have to make a noise if you want to get some help, and then it's a very slow process. I also have to mention that I like to support our local pool business from whom I was sold the pool. They were super nice (Classic Pool and Spa in Aloha, Oregon) and helped with a number of pool issues. When I went to them to make the treadmill purchase, the order was taken and there wasn't to be any freight charge. A week later Endless Pools called them and told them they'd have to charge me $200 for shipping my order even though it's on the sheet of the consortium they buy through, as a qualifying item. And on Endless Pools website they offered free freight. I called Endless Pools and asked why I couldn't get the free freight if I bought it through my pool store. It seemed to me that they weren't providing their local representative the support they should be, by undercutting them in a sale. Tough luck was their response. So, it seems to me that soon there won't be any local sales of Endless Pools as why should some company represent a manufacturer and then be in competition with them, and watching the company skimming off the cream. I did finally get my treadmill but they would only honor the free freight if I bought it from them. Now, as it doesn't work as expected I'm wondering if I hadn't made a big mistake. read more

I am so sorry I bought this pool. The problems started from jump with installers that are private contractors and have no standards for charges and ethics. It doesn't hold up well. Already it has cost me a thousand dollars for maintenance and repairs. The vinyl liner doesn't hold up. The pool cover didn't hold up. Each time I look at this pool I regret the purchase. Now it won't hold water. My pool repairman has to call customer support to troubleshoot. Of course, I cannot hire the installer because he has the ethics of a serpent. I bought a motor I needed ($611) and a week later they announced a sale on those parts. When I called to say I would've waited a week if they had told me when I called to place the order they told me that they will send me a free filter rather than just give me the discount. So disappointed. Go to a local pool and spa store that carries similar products. You will be happier. read more

I love my endless pool! I've been enjoying it for 2 and half year now. I use it 2-3 times per week. Growing up I had a pool in my backyard but not that I could really swim in it. We live in San Francisco and our backyard is really small, like postage stamp small yet we were able to fit easily our endless pool. Not only it is a pool and my kids enjoy it as is but I can swim forever! Going to the pool was always a hassle as I had to find parking, walk over there and then the pool itself was chlorinated so badly that I would stink the rest of the day. With the endless pool, I have no chlorine smell as I use very little. I also don't spend a lot of time maintaining it. I do some chemistry measurement every week, clean the bottom and sometimes brush the sides, overall maybe 20 min. Being also a triathlete I can honestly say that my stroke improved a lot! You have direct feedback from the current. If your form becomes sloppy, it becomes harder. In a pool you don't really notice until you get to the end of the lane and see your time. If I ask myself would I do it all over again and the answer is yes. I'm planning on moving one day and I'll definitely set up another endless pool in my new place. read more

I bought an Endless Pool in the UK (south England) 6 years ago. The approved installer disappeared. The English parts & chemicals distributor won't cover my area because I'm 50 miles away, so I have to order from Scotland. When a major part they supplied didn't work Endless Pools refused to deal with me. They just dumped me and didn't respond. I've never heard from them since. The Scottish distributor was helpful but that's not good enough for an international company. Now my pool is getting older I need support. When it eventually packs up I will buy anything other than Endless Pools. Oh and when Endless did used to speak to me, they took days or weeks to answer an email. read more

I am a big fan of my Endless Pool. It was installed in Jan 2014 and I have been swimming it in 2-6 times a week, every week, since then. It is a standard 7x14' size with 48" depth and a performance motor (1:05/100yards max speed). I love the small footprint that matches with space on my hillside, and the construction took me a few days, almost entirely solo. If you are handy with general construction, their guides are pretty detailed and it is doable project. Of course, there is a learning curve, and when I ran into issues, customer service was responsive. If you don't know how to use a drill to make 3" holes in sheet metal, hire an installer. After 3 years, the pool and accessories are in great condition. I am very careful with the liner and cover, which I would suggest any homeowner be considerate of plastic or vinyl items in general. Pool is installed outside in Southern California, so the thicker cover helps keep the pool at 80F year-round with very reasonable electric heating bills of a few dollars a day max. The current is very decent and quite laminar, I swim mostly freestyle, but there is no reason why any stroke would not be suitable. I like the floor mirrors and pace clock options, but I don't think I would buy the corner step again. The plug-and-play underwater lights are an expensive option, but really easy so I am happy I chose those in the long run. The patterned liner is awesome (there were a few choices. Anything was better than plain blue). Water quality has always been easy and the pool stays clean since it's covered most of the time. I have a simple spa chlorine floater that I fill with 1" pucks from Amazon. Customer service has been responsive to questions and feedback. I'm surprised by the couple of strongly negative reviews- it seems they had some individual CS issues that were not handled well and I'm sure they are justified in how they feel. Now that I have been using the Endless Pool for a few weeks and it is almost completed I want to revise my earlier review. The customer service has improved and I have found them to be more responsive to my questions/requests. The pool is wonderful and there is nothing better than having a swim in my back yard each morning and not having to fight for a lane at the local pool. There continue to be some cons to this project however. The instruction manual to put this pool together is horrendous. I assume it is meant to encompass all of their pools. It is hard to find which section you need as there is no table of contents, just main instructions and then appendices for any add on items you may have bought. This resulted in quite a bit of frustration. If I had an extra $5500 I would have happily paid somebody else to do it, but after spending so much on the pool this was not an option for us. Their help line was nice though and we used it over a weekend. Having that availability was nice. In the end, the pool is great, the building of it has been a colossal pain in the butt. read more

I am surprised at the few negative reviews since I have had virtually zero issues with my pool. We purchased a 12'x7' pool to save a little bit of space in the dedicated addition, but if you are near or greater than 6ft tall I would not recommend the shorter pool. The depth is the standard depth which works out great, especially if you have younger kids. I am a do-it-yourself guy, so I built the entire pool by myself with only needing help installing the wall panels and propulsion unit because of their weight and size. The instruction manual and video were ok, but the installation manual could have been arranged better. I did find a couple mistakes in the manual that should be corrected because they are simply wrong and misleading. Customer support was very good. We have had the pool up and running for 5 months now and use it at least every other day if not every day. The current is smooth and strong and after only a few seconds of swimming you feel comfortable, adjusted and regulated. Now that the weather here is getting colder, the heater has kicked on and the temperature of the water has been consistent with the settings at 82 degrees. During the summer the temperature was as high as 87. But that felt pretty good since it was in the 90's. Overall we are very pleased with the health benefit and pleasure of swimming. Because the $$$ I expect this pool with all of its components will last a long time, and I expect the customer support to be there if I need them. read more
