This place is really great for shopping for board games and card games in person, as there is a big selection available on site. There is also a small selection of comic books in one corner. The staff members are very helpful and will order games they don't have in stock. There are usually people sitting around playing games, giving the store a nice vibe (although basically just lots of geeky white guys of all ages and sizes and descriptions). Update: Selection of board games keeps getting better, there is a great selection of children's games, and the snack bar is really yummy including smoothies and pastries. read more

Great coffee and friendly staff combine to give Enchanted Grounds a leg up here in the land of Starbucks. I went in with questions about video games (which they don't sell or provide) and quickly was helped by a consummate gamer to find local used video game stores - chains and Mom & Pop stores. I know it might seem irrelevant, but it's that kind of willingness to help that makes the experience of a place like Enchanted Grounds worth a visit. read more

We found this coffee shop by accident, and were so excited to find the overall atmosphere. The games, the helpful staff, and the comics really combined to make it a far better experience than some "other" "just" coffee shops. Definitely a place we will return too - not to mention - the baked goods far exceeded my expectations! read more

They are well-stocked and have a friendly staff. The coffee is great, and they have a pretty good selection of snack-type-foods (sandwiches, cookies, pastries, etc.). My single complaint is that, during high-traffic times, they tend to run out of tables. I tend to go for paint, though, when I run out or need a color I don't have, so that usually doesn't bother me much. (They're a game store, too! What's not to love?) read more

Fun place, very busy but love playing magic here. the customer service isnt always great but it isnt horrible and for how busy theyre im cool with it. They hav e a great selection of top rated board games and good coffee too. havent tried their food yet but its a fun place to be Friday nights. read more

This place is really nice and clean and it is both a coffee shop and game store. Apparently they play Magic tournaments here too. Anyways, I was very impressed that they had a Clover machine (basically you get a french press coffee made just for you) and as you might expect the quality of brew from this was excellent! The only reason why I give this place 4 stars instead of 5 is that they discontinued carrying Novo coffee. I really am fond of that brand and the interim coffee (they have not decided on a replacement vendor yet) was unremarkable. read more

Great atmosphere and good times. I've just started going to enchanted grounds this year and have found every experience at both locations worth a referral. I would also like to say I met Jeff my second time visiting and had a great interaction with him. He was pleasant and we talked table top gaming and had a couple laughs. I've read other reviews where people had silly complaints like being upset that he wanted to live his life on New Year's Eve and close the store or tell some inconsiderate jack hole not to cuss in front of the kids because he saw a Magic card he didn't have (you're a freaking adult right? If you are then you say "HOLY SH1T!" On the inside and then say out loud, "Excuse me sir, may I buy this rare item as I need it to help complete my collection? I certainly do enjoy your selection of gaming items!" And then the owner wouldn't have to point out that your an inconsiderate A hole with the social skills of a zoo monkey flinging poo!) etc. The best by far though was a three star rating a guy gave and said it was due to coffee quality and then he gives Starbucks a four star rating!!!!!! hAHAHA. I'm a tea drinker and they have earl grey, cream and honey so I'm good. I think it is funny that anyone would have the nerve to rate a place solely based on a drink that you put sugar and cream into so it doesn't taste as bad as it does. You drink coffee for the buzz.......not the taste. If it were otherwise then why for the last four hundred years has every culture tried to add and refine the brewing process to make it not taste like you're drinking a bitter cup of emotions? Final argument, if it tastes better after being pooped out by a bat......it doesn't taste good to begin with....... Ok, now that we've dealt with why the coffee should NEVER be the highlight of a taste review...... The food here is good and the snacks are worth coming in. Italian sodas!!!!! Now there is a drink worth tasting!! Customer service is awesome, but then again I'm a gamer so I can talk to everyone about our passions there and not come away thinking about how the interaction would relate to a Yelp review.......... This is fully directed at the 3,2 and 1 star ratings here. Bottom line this is a great place to bring your kid and do something together with them. Play a game and connect with people. Sure drink some caffeine too or get a snack etc. These things happen too. I would say the enchantment of Enchanted Grounds are the patrons and the sense of community you get when you enter AND interact. Now I didn't have anyone doing backflips when they brought me my tea but they did bring it to me with a smile and a thank you for my business. If that's not customer service at a high level for you then go back to your 1780's plantation because you don't own these people and they can have emotions sometimes too!!!! In fact please take that to the bank EVERY Yelp reviewer ever!!!!!! Your experience isn't a true reflection of reality it is only YOUR reality. For the rest of us who don't judge and rate the smell of every fart we release unto the world, this place will be a positive and awesome spot to: share time with your child doing something that connects the two of you; meet new people and share a fun experience while drinking a bitter drink that you can't add enough sugar to; find a new game that you didn't knew existed but you love and take home to your friends or family; sit and read a book; sit and read a tablet; sit and read a laptop; sit and read the street signs outside (you can literally sit and read any words from any medium here)........ You get the idea now get there and judge for yourself Cheers! Clinton E read more

They opened up another Enchanted Grounds near Bowles and Platte Canyon in Littleton. The differ by kinds of coffee are excellent and they make some mean sandwiches. The also have a game room and lots of books to read. Lots a very laid back place with wifi. read more

This place gets a 5 star rating for their coffee and a 2 star rating for atmosphere. They claim to be a "gameporium" which I took to meaning they have games for you to play while you enjoy their coffee but instead they meant they have games for you to buy. They have a huge selection of games however they are on the expensive side. So instead of hanging out here we just stopped by and grabbed coffee. read more

It's a cute little coffee shop where you can grab a good cup of coffee and play board games to your heart's desire. They do offer tester games so don't be shy to ask to try it out! read more

Love this coffee shop! Very friendly staff, great coffee and free WiFi. I come here to catch up on work and always have a great experience.

I stumbled on this coffee shop while out for a run. What a delight. It has games and gaming hobby items on sale and lots of sitting room for playing and meeting. The clientel seems to be mostly nerdy middle aged men, a group I enjoy. I had a scone and a cup of darjeeling tea. Yes they have darjeeling and it was nicely flavorful with no hint of coffee contamination. read more

Great place to learn about and buy new games. Staff has always been very helpful.

Our family loves enchanted Grounds. Good coffee, reasonable prices and a fantastic environment. The best selection of games card, board, and role playing) in town! read more

Best chocolate shake in town! You can even add a little flavor to it, like orange or raspberry. Friendly staff, and all the food is provided by local business. A good place to take the family, borrow an "in-store" game and spend the evening. I absolutely love their new "Mame" burritos! And they got new equipment (which the staff is very excited about and will be happy to show you) and the coffee is even better than before, which is amazing as it was excellent before. Also noticed some new kids superhero puzzles in a travel pouch. I'll be back in to buy those for my nephews at Christmas! read more

Good food, great game and comic selection. Lots of space for playing games. Friendly staff, that knows what their talking about. One of the last of the great game shops. read more

Magic night wasn't very nice. People are rude if you have good cards. And people take the game to seriously. Also I don't like to be called an amateur and be told I have an amateur deck. I did work hard on it and I did spend some money on it. All I wanted to do is meet new people and have fun. Ended up being shunned all night....... But everything else like the coffee is amazing! 5 stars! I have nothing against the store except for the magic nights and those people. read more

This is a great coffee and game comic shop. The people that work there are friendly and nice. You can set and read not have to buy a thing great place love it. read more

For a coffeehouse, this place is much more. Combined with the coffeehouse, is a Gameporium. You'll find games for purchase, and there are games to play for free you can borrow. You'll find mention on the menu of free games to play. This is a kid friendly place and I can enjoy my coffee and actually bring my kids who otherwise would be too bored to go along. Their space is open and inviting. One of the roomiest coffeehouses I've ever seen. It's a great place to open the laptop and get stuff done. This is also a great place to conduct business individually or in small groups. read more

Excellent store! Really cool idea to pair gaming, comics, and a coffee store. The staff is friendly, though the selection of product suffers a bit - really great for Warmachine, RPGs, and Malifaux, but no GW stuff, and the board game selection is a bit limited. Food and drinks are pretty good too, and it's near good restaurants for more substantial food. Really community friendly! read more

I was only able to stay a minute but wish I could have stayed longer. This looks like a great place to relax with a book or with friends. Very relaxing atmosphere. I ordered the Egyptian Chamomile and wow. It was heavenly. I am going to be craving a cup and stopping in again I'm sure. read more

It's been a year since my original review of Enchanted Grounds, so I thought I should share an update. I still love the place! I no longer play Magic: The Gathering, but I've moved on to Dungeons and Dragons, which Enchanted Grounds also supports fantastically well. I always try to buy my gaming supplies here rather than online in order to support the store. They have regular D&D games in the store at least three times a week, and the service has always been excellent. I'm a very loyal customer. read more

This place makes me want to move to Denver gaming store and coffee shop together. Great selection of games and rpg books very clean and friendly staff. The chai I had was great and got the game I was looking for. This is a great place to hang out. read more

The drinks & the atmosphere here is awesome, hands down my favorite coffee shop in Highlands Ranch. However, I knocked off 1 star because of a barista that works at this location. She's so rude and has this look on her face every time we come in like she just hates life! I go to this coffee shop about once a week and I don't think I've ever seen this chick smile once. I hate going in when she's working. Her demeanor and attitude gives you the impression that she hates her job. One time my boyfriend put $5 in the tip jar and she didn't even say a word! And when she tries (and I emphasize on the word "tries") to be nice, it's like a fake nice with a sprinkle of bitchy. The rest of the staff are really friendly, and welcoming. This one lady in particular is like the Barista version of Seinfeld's Soup Nazi! It's like great, amazing coffee but you gotta get past the bitchy barista that takes your order! read more

Very nice and welcoming baristas with fast service. Atmosphere is fantastic with a great game selection. A favorite coffee spot of mine and others. read more

Very cool. This is where Comic-Conners go the other 362 days of the year. Coffee, comics, card games, puzzles, collectibles, books, generally cool finds. They have spider-man uno cards. You bet I bought em. The people are friendly. There are a decent amount of outlets. Free wifi. Adult men playing Dungeon and Dragon-esque games and you can tell they're here a lot. There should be more of these places. read more

I love going into Enchanted Grounds! Whether I'm going in for a coffee or needing to quench a gaming fix it always meets my needs. One thing that makes this shop outshine some of the other gaming/coffee shops is its attention to detail. There is a personal touch on everything in that store and I love that the owner cares about every little thing. The atmosphere is perfect for studying or gaming and there is always something happening. I love going in, I just wish it was a little closer to me.:( read more

Not only are the coffee drinks delicious the staff is always helpful in recommending a good game for family and friends. The most recent recommendation was "Qwirkle" which got rave reviews from my family!! We played it everyday when I went back to visit them in St. Louis. read more

My friends and I meet here for game nights. This place is amazing! Great drinks at great price, friendly employees, good collection of games at retail price, clean, warm atmosphere. I felt like I was home. I am definitely going back again and again. My wallet may empty, but it's worth it. Also, the Italian Cream sodas are wonderful. read more

I love this place, staff was superb at being quick, efficient, and make great coffee drinks. They are also very knowledgeable about the games they are selling there as well. I had a blueberry pancake, which is a delicious coffee drink that tastes like a blueberry pancake. A nice place with alot of gamers crowding it and regularly holding events such as magic the gathering drafts, D&D night, and Hordes/Warmachine. Even if your not a gamer, I suggest stopping by for the coffee and who knows you might just find a new hit game to play with your friends at home. read more

I really like this place. Good coffee and cappuccino served in a very comfortable atmosphere. Tons of seating and lots of windows. What sets this place apart from every other coffee joint is the characters here. People are everywhere playing board and card games. Tons of awesome games and accessories for sale. Most of which I'd never heard of but looked very interesting. Truly a unique experience. read more

I really like coming here. The staff is super friendly, and quick with taking and making orders. I like what the store has to offer. There's a large selection of drinks (yet, I'm not a fan of the coffee, green tea latte, or hot chocolate... Still on the hunt for a drink I like), but there's also a good selection of food and games! The comic book section isn't very diverse, but it's enough if you're looking for something new to pick up. Normally, I come here to do some drawing and reading. It can get noisy during peak hours, but lots of groups go here to play games so it's only expected (and awesome! I love finding places that do this). But, when I go during slower hours, it's very quiet and a nice place to do some work. It's very spacious, too, with seating to spare, which I appreciate. read more

Wonderful place to meet with friends, get some coffee and a treat, and play some games. I got four of my friends into Magic here, played my first D&D game here, and have had more pleasant conversations with friends here than I can count. I couldn't recommend it more! (The coffee does take a while to be made, though, just as a warning to those who are in a rush. This is definitely a sit-down place!) read more

Love this place! Great atmosphere and good coffee!

Stopped by there with my kids to look at fantasy games and they kicked us out because we happen to have Starbucks with us; jerks!

I love this place! I'm not really into card games, role playing games, or any of the other fantasy type things they sell, but the coffee is great and I always love browsing around when I stop in for a drink. I've bought a couple books and a board game from here on impulse, but mostly I come in for the coffee. The vibe in here is really fun! read more

Awesome! The coffee is among the best I've had, and that was just the drip test. I've had lattes and mochas, iced and hot, and even tried some of their teas. I'm impressed when someone knows what they are doing, and these guys really know what they're doing. I even got a Bat Symbol for latte art. Add in the games and comics, and I'm in heaven. This place ranks among my all time favorite places to hang out. I can always find someone to play a game with, and have made it a point to come in on nights when there are board games being played so as to find new things I don't know about. read more
