We tried this place for my Mom's birthday and had high expectations, especially given the price point. I needed a flashlight to read the menu. Ordered the cheese fondue and it was diy, came with grated cheese in a pot and served passed the pot to us to put on heating burner (sketchy). Told us to stir while melting so it didn't burn...okay, let me cook my own food. Once it melted, so runny and asked her about it. We had to pass the pot over to her and she went and got more cheese to add. So safe to pass a hot pot across the table. Once we got the veggies, disappointment continued. Food was excellent; service was amazing; and the ambience was perfect for a fun getaway. I had the braised beef ribs and they were the tenderest I've ever add and I loved the Mead flight. This place is a dining experience! The food is excellent and the place is adorable. It almost has a Disney type of theme vibe going on. You walk in and as soon as your sat, you're offered light up flower headbands to set the mood. The tables also have blue light running through the wood, giving it an illusion of a river. There are vines, ivy, and small little fairies adorning the place. We were also lucky enough to be there when an Irish band was playing adding to the thematic experience. We did a flight of mead, which was excellent. We tried their fondue as well and were not disappointed. We ordered from their entree menu and selected the macadamia crusted scallops and their Guinness salmon. The presentation was beautiful and the taste superb. Visited this charming restaurant with friends on a weekday evening. I had been told that the decor was impressive and it was. I had read other reviews that the air flow and ambiance were not good, but found no problem with the very thoughtful decor or air system, which is important to me because of food allergies. The menu is very different and limited with a lot of shellfish and premium foods, so I checked the current online menu, then called ahead to see if my needs could be accommodated. I was assured that my request was not unusual. The greeter was very welcoming and seated me even though I was a bit early. When my group arrived, our server was very helpful and offered me options that I had not considered when she learned my complicated allergy issues. My meal was really beyond what I had anticipated, but totally within my restricted needs and was still delicious with added touches especially for my issues. My friends were very happy with all of their menu choices and service, as well. Lovely experience, very fun destination, outstanding food and excellent service. She didn't even mention it til after my mom ate her entire pizza, and then she came over to apologize because she forgot to mention it was a regular pizza. The servers name is Jennifer K. Her service was terrible, only came back every 30 or so minutes. We had to ask other workers for help for a few things. My son had a grilled cheese which was maybe 2 slices of Swiss on a 4" French roll, served with a couple of strawberries and some wheat thins. My fiancé had the both variety of tapas, but her salmon was turning grey so she decided against finishing that. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant and it was my first and ONLY time coming there. I will NEVER come back to this place . When we arrived, we were seated at the same time as another group. We ordered one of their vegan pizzas and their vegan eggplant lasagna. The food took OVER AN HOUR (WTF!!!!!!) to come to us, and when it finally did - the pizza had meat and cheese and the eggplant lasagna had cheese. Wtf?!?! Instead of sending the food back and potentially waiting another hour+ for food, we decided to leave and find food elsewhere because we were starving at that point. We told the waitress we would not be paying for that food since we literally waited over an hour and didn't even take a single bite of the food and she understood. But the worst part?
