Overall great experience, Melissa explained everything beforehand and ensured that I was comfortable in every way. The facilities are quite nice and very welcoming. The experience was relaxing, and quite effective. If nothing else, an important takeaway is that I need to take better care of my skin - from sunscreen to hydration. Melissa offered some great tips and offers a nice selection of products (and the great thing, no pressure to buy them). This may not be a regular thing for me, but I definitely trust that Melissa knows her stuff, and would definitely use her services again.

It was three steps: 1. Consult - Aashu explained all the benefits and considerations for the procedure, the pricing model, and the appts needed. She also did a sample outline of what my brows would look like using some sort of makeup so I could get an idea. She consulted on possible shapes and styles and updated the outline drawn on my face so I could decide which was a good fit. She explained what to expect with the procedure in great detail. 2. 1st Appointment - Aashu had great communication with me about where to be and what to expect. She even kept my scheduled appointment on the day of a big snow storm. She used a numbing cream that made the procedure itself not very painful. It took maybe 2 hours. She gave me an aftercare kit and detailed instructions to follow, which were pretty easy. From day 1 I didn't feel the need to pencil in my brows anymore. I had a tiny bit of itching the first week, but nothing to be worried about. 3. 2nd Appointment - This one was the same thing but much quicker. She listened to my feedback and made the small tweaks I asked for. I am very happy with the result! She was also very meticulous about keeping her hands, the tools, and the area sterile while she worked which gave me good peace of mind. I had wanted to do this for years, but was afraid to do it. My wife and daughter both are very happy about their relationship with their beautician (Jenna) at this place. As the driver for my daughter, I am writing merely to state this facility is far nicer than any place my wife, my daughter, and myself as well, can say I have been to in all of the greater Madison area in 22 years. My wife's hair is very much the reason I fell in love with her 28years ago. Jenna is currently her go to gal for her amazingly beautiful head of curls. Coley, my daughter (nickname) has her mothers curls, but my texture I guess. As a baby she had my blonde. I miss that time. If my hair was still what it was just five years ago I wouldn't hesitate to be here for the hair care I once demanded. These days I'm just happy I still have hair and it's not quite as grey as I see myself when looking in the mirror. We can't choose our neighbors or our follicles.

She appeared to be a little zoned out on something, eyes at half-mast. Her communications confusing and unclear. I have had MANY massages in my life, swedish, Esalen, energy, etc. ( Ihave also practiced as a massage therapist. ) This was none of those. It was unbalanced, incoherent, superficial, and cursory. She ran out of time and gave my left leg a couple of swipes, and that was it. I seriously wonder how she could be certified. She later apologized to me, saying she had made a mistake and I got the wrong massage from the wrong person ????? Overall, place is dingy, dark, smells musty, is not at all inviting, does not come across at all as a professional or well-run place. I would never go back there, nor suggest anyone else go there.
