Great salon, we both go for pedicures , always seems busy and I saw some fun nails with art

I went there recently for a pedicure with a few of my friends. While their technicians quickly started working on their nails, mine came in about 10 to 15 minutes late. He was very hasty overall with my pedicure. At one point, I said ow! because he was digging too deep into my big toe, and not surprisingly, I woke up the next day with that same toe throbbing. I just hope it doesn't get infected. They need to spend more time taking care of their clients and not herding them in and out. read more

I thought if I put in the comments when I booked that it was my daughters 10th bday/first time mani/pedi that the experience would be better. Nope. Still pressured to upgrade the service and attitude when I declined. Hardly a thank you out the door and my daughter even said after we left that the lady who did my toes "seemed kinda mean". My daughters loved their nails but I think I'll search around for a place that's more welcoming and that I don't feel like a cheap low life when I leave. Tipped over 20% too btw. read more

I don't get my nails done often but was really glad that I found Sun Prairie Nails & Spa before a wedding I was attending. I was able to get an appointment the day before online and book one for my sister-in-law who was visiting for the wedding too. I had my appointment with Jessie, who is extremely thorough and detail-oriented, while quick. I liked the cat eye job so much I recently returned to get some Halloween nail art done by Jessie as well. I think the prices are reasonable based on what I've seen around. There is a reward system that I will need to explore more! The place is very clean and has converted me to getting my nails done :) read more

They're great when you book an appt with one of the ladies but the man cut me quite a bit. Nice and the vibe is nice just very expensive and I got more at another place in Madison for way cheaper and a full pedicure that wasn't rushed with luke warm water. read more

I LOVE THIS PLACE. No matter who I see to do my nails they do a phenomenal job. It's a big space with many nail techs. Best to book online because they stay booked and busy but walk-ins are welcomed. I also get my pedicure here too! They have options for treatments with your pedicure depending on how much you want to spoil yourself :). Nice big comfy massage chairs for when you are getting your pedicure. They also do kids mani and pedi. read more

My nail artist didnt listen to anything I said and kept offering to give me different options even though I was sure of what I wanted. I asked for a specific length three times before he initially started working on my nails. He cut them shorter than my liking and when he asked me about the shape and length I said too short and he just kept filing. I love coming here but this was my first time with someone new and don't know if I'll be returning. The feel is usually nice and he was very nice but just didn't follow my request. read more

Moved to the area and thought I'd try this salon out. But never have I ever gotten Gel X nails and they fall off within 2 weeks!

They did an excellent job and the man who did my nails asked multiple times if I wanted anything to drink and if I liked how they looked. I got a dip manicure and it felt like they did their best to make sure I was not touched. I didn't get a massage or any type of cuticle treatment. I love the way my nails turned out and it was very fast. But it was quite pricy considering. Just keep that in mind when going, there is no cash discount and it is top of the price for nails but it is a treat. read more

I don't normally leave reviews but this has been the worst pedicure experience I've ever had. The following means I will never come back: -I sat for 10 minutes in a chair with no idea when someone would come to do my nails, and no water -Water in the basin was so, so hot, they kept shoving my feet in as I was trying to pill them out and not to burn them. -Cut my nail down so far, I'm sure to have an ingrown toenail in about a month. -The Emory board may have been from 1974 and just dragged and ripped my nail -filed away my cuticle on a few toes (htf does that even happen) -Kept hitting the freshly painted nails with the uv machine and now shitty nails. I'd rather never come here again read more

Horrible quality of work. I had a horrid experience with a very rude nail tech. She made excuses about shaping and kept correcting what i wanted or misconstruing my words. She also scolded my friends who all had appointments? Very unprofessional! The services are so expensive for what you get in return. Save your money and find a better salon! read more

Came in today (a Monday afternoon) as a walk-in and was serviced right away. I'm happy with the service that Sarina provided. She got my nail shaping exactly how I asked, she worked at a great pace and was gentle, which I appreciate. Maybe I'm a bit spoiled from the salons back home but there wasn't any extra other than the fill-in and paint job. No hand massage, no lotion, nothing...its standard at the places I've gone to before. Not a deal breaker but after spending a little over $50 (tip included) it would have been nice to have. I will go back though as the shop was clean, Sarina was great and overall service was good. read more

I regularly came here for my nails , developing a friendly relationship with everyone here , but one day in particular , I had come in after an exhausting day at work . I took a seat , and was told to pick out a color from the nail folder, I decided to ask her about another lady who worked there (younger and very talkative ) and she immediately took offense and treated me with such sour bitter , hasty and rude attitude . I tried to sit there and listen to her murmur under her breath all of the mean things things she CLEARLY wanted me to hear bc she was speaking English . lol... and only for me to hear. I HAVE NEVER had an issue with a nail salon or anyone in it and I respect everyone I come in contact with . Everyone deserves that. But that day - I felt such a profound hate for me . I felt like it was targeted once she saw me and after that the hateful treatment proceeded. The people she worked with continued working and a few came to me showing concern ..after overhearing but I was too broken up to continue to stay there , so I rushed out . The BEST nail salon in the Madison area. They have great prices, wonderful color selection and super friendly customer service. They have the best options for manicure and pedicure. Their CoVid precautions have been amazing. They social distance everyone and allow for barriers between the technician. They offer a paraffin wax when you get a manicure which I've never seen anywhere else. It's super fun and makes for super smooth hands. Their prices are so reasonable. First time coming here for a pedicure and was greeted and seated right away. On my lunch break, I was easily able to make a same day appointment online for 5pm. Really like the massage chairs and nail color selection they had, everything seemed clean, neat & organized. I opted for the $57 pedi and was not disappointed! From the rose petals, scrub and paraffin to hot stones & massage it all felt great! I was easily able to ask for a specific nail shape, and the paint job looked great! Every time I come here I have a different nail tech and they are always SO NICE. The service is always so great. I will say my appointment with Terry was probably the worst I've ever had in my life. She was so rude from beginning to end and had me wondering what I possibly could have done to inconvenience her during my appointment. I was nice and patient and got a super simple manicure. It was so unpleasant it made me never want to go again to be honest. But everyone else is so kind so I would recommend anyone but her. read more

i came in saturday and the lady i had didn't do the BEST job on my nails. she only did one layer is white and i asked her to cut them down and she wouldn't..HOWEVER! Asked for gel and a design. Had to wait 30 min for appointment, didn't get gel but got charged for it, my cuticles got ripped not cut, there's a noticeable gap between my cuticle and where the color on my nails starts. Price not worth the experience, would NOT recommend. read more

I had a very strange experience here. I don't know the nail techs name who did my nails because he barely spoke to me. I let them know it was my first time there and had made an appt at 530. When I arrived to meet my cousin who had her own appt for 530 they sat her right away and I waited about 10 minutes, no big deal. I asked for my nails to be matte and the tech said they would chip if I did that so I said okay just regular top coat. My cousin and I were inquiring about what chrome they have and I was never shown what kinds. I know I said I wanted chrome tho. Then after he put a coat on he walked away and I mentioned to my cousins tech about the chrome and he said yeah he will do it. So the staff went trying to find him. He came back and said you can't have chrome I already did the top coat remember I told you and I said no I don't remember because we never spoke about it. He said I already told you and you said you didn't want it. I was like ok I guess I won't get chrome. Then the owner came over and said you can have chrome and filed off the top coat and put chrome on for me. She was so sweet and made up for the experience. Then I went to check out and he just told me the price $92. So I gave him a $100 bill because signs are up all over to pay cash. I asked for a receipt because I wanted to know the breakdown of pricing (I don't live in Wisconsin and where I go in NC it is a lot cheaper). He said cash you can't have a receipt. Ok.... Then my cousin and I go to dinner and she said how much did they cost? And I said $92. I was shocked to hear that the nails she got done same as me plain color dip with chrome were $75 with tip. I got tips put on and she didn't but I'm not understanding how tips add an extra $20. Also she sat down 10 minutes before me and was done 10 minutes after me. I didn't have any cuticle work done it was just a dip soak off and new dip with chrome. If all this wasn't weird enough the next day the chrome chipped off two of my nails and is starting to on the others. I had my old nails with chrome on for 4 weeks from the salon I go to in NC and there weren't any chips. I'm writing this in the parking lot as I just drove an hour to see if they could fix the chips and they said to come back tomorrow because they don't have enough people working to do them. I said I drove an hour and don't live here so I can't come back (my flight leaves tomorrow). So overall my cousin had a great experience and comes here regularly but my experience was not great in the slightest. I wish I knew the name of the tech I had but alas I don't. Late review but was a few weeks back. I went in on a Saturday with an appointment. Love the shape and color. I got acrylic for $55. She did a good job however i minus a star because I was a bit irritated how she kept leaving me to take phone calls and cashing ppl out while servicing me. They really need to hire a receptionist for that matter. Also, unfortunately what I paid for did not include push back cuticles cleaning or hand massage. read more

Went back here to get a fill. The quality has definitely went down. The girl rushed through my fill, my nails are uneven, crooked, and I asked for them to not be as thick looking. She burned/cut my skin while filing the nails. This is not the way it was the first few times I went here. I had Kim the owner the first few times and was very happy. For starters I have never left a review for any establishment because I am very patient when it comes to service industry because I also I work in it. Today it changed for me. We had an 245 appointment which didn't start till about 255 because they kept changing our nail tech. My friend next to me didn't even start until 3:30. Secondly I wanted the #2 pedicure which was by passed due to lack of attention, I didn't get half of the services which was listed which meant he just didn't listen even after me saying something. On top of it we let them know that water was going everywhere underneath our chairs that are plugged into the wall very close to the large puddles underneath not only mine and my friends but 3 chairs down even. My friend's purse got soaked and they just moved it out of the way. It wasn't a safety concern to them at all!! Lastly the unprofessional of trying to resolve any of the issues was insanely unbelievable. We came to unwind and relax and the experience was extremely stressful. To top it off I got to the counter to pay and they tried to charge me for the service I did not receive and said they apologize because "he's new" and expected me to pay it - which I did not, until it was the pricing of the service I got. I went here before my moms funeral as a get away with my cousin. 10 days later the nails started popping off. I sent pictures and called and was finally told to come in at 1. I arrived and they backpeddled and said nails only last 2 weeks and it's been 10 days and they would give me a discount. No! I paid over $50 for these nails while my cousin paid $47 with no explanation as to why mine were more. I have never had dip before but everyone I talked to said they last 3 weeks! My wife came home tonight very upset by the service she received getting her nails done and this seems to be a reaccuring theme. Cant make a online appt anymore so called on the phone. Didnt start on her till 15 min late. the nail tech left her twice during her visit to assist other people at the salon. When you pay what you do here the entire focus should be on you, have the manager deal with other fires, something is going on in the background here, never used to be this way. Seems like they are overwhelmed or not focused on the customers they are working on. Need to rectify this or people will go elsewhere to get there monies worth. read more

i live this place! they're very nice and the chairs are comfy, they play good music. the nails look amazing! just like my photo reference. kim was awesome, she makes nice conversation and explains everything nicely. i haven't had acrylics in a while so i was a bit rusty on terms lol but she explained everything! she redid one nail like 3 times just so it would look just like the picture, she's very thorough. i will be coming back for my next nails and i feel amazing. read more

I very seldom leave reviews for businesses, but I felt like this business needs to address some issues. I had a pedicure scheduled at 6:45. I walked in and the male at front desk pointed to a chair. I sat in the chair until 7:15, while I watched the person I had booked with working with another client. I also observed 5 other manicurists/pedicurists watching her do the nails and a 6th person sat in the front of salon on her cell phone. I was not offered water, I was not asked if I wanted to look at colors, nor was I offered an explanation as to the wait and all the individuals milling around that might have at least let me feet soak while waiting. I finally got up and went to the lady on the phone who told me that it is their policy to not let feet soak as the water would get cold. (she obviously did not want to check and add more warm water). I have been at other salons where if the pedicurist you have booked is busy, someone else will start the soak or even the removal of the polish. Not here!! I did not even receive an apology. I am not blaming the pedicurist-but the establishment. They obviously were overbooked and could care less about the clients. Will not be returning. read more

This place is two months old and absolutely beautiful on the inside. Equally the technicians are very nice and respectful. I had a great conversation with Paul and he was fantastic. The service was quick and beautifully done. Lastly, I love that when you walk in you sign up on an iPad to wait. They have tons of space and guarantee that it might get harder to get in as more people find out about this place. Highly recommend! read more

Every time I go in my nails are broken within a week. I've been charged a different price every time I go in with that I do nothing new or different to warrant a different price. The last time I was in there a man name starting with a V did my nails and kept winking at me and was rude. I also make appointments ahead of time and always have to wait. Bring a birth certificate with you if you want to get your 13 year old a children's pedicure. I took my 13 year old there a month before her 14th birthday for a special treat before the school year began. I asked the lady at the front desk for a children's pedicure and she kept insisting that we pay for an adult pedicure for her. She finally gave in but continued to make my daughter very uncomfortable by speaking with some of the other ladies working there about us, looking at us and laughing at what they were saying during our pedicures. Then they still tried to charge us for the adult pedicure when we went to pay. It's been almost 2 years now so I hope things have changed. Either way, we won't be going back. read more

When we politely mentioned this to staff, they suggested rescheduling us after we drove 30 minutes to be here and had already waited for 40 minutes!
