Due to the service we received and the less-than-impressive results, I would not recommend this salon to someone looking to get their nails done in Sun Prairie. When I arrived, they seemed to have over-booked themselves, as they didn't seat us for over 30 minutes. During the pedicure, I asked for a French tip design, which ended up being a pink polish that dried bumpy with a shaky white line along the top. The water was initially lukewarm, and we were left sitting with it for another 30 minutes. As I mentioned, I initially booked 2 classic manicures (not gel). We were both convinced into switching to gel polish instead after we asked for designs, as the techs said that the designs would turn out better with gel. I asked for a small design (stars on two nails), and the designs ended up smudged and looked sloppy, which the tech refused to correct when I asked. After the tech was done with my friend's design and the polish was curing under the lamp, she experienced pain due to the heat and quickly withdrew her hands. The tech was rude when this happened and seemed frustrated and impolite despite her expressing pain. We both ended up with polish all over our hands, which the techs did not remove or acknowledge. Although the people behind the front desk, who I believe were the owners or managers, were very polite and thanked us for being patient, the techs seemed rushed, were rude, and were upset when asked to make corrections. The nails look OK from a distance, but as the person wearing them, the quality is underwhelming. If the mani/pedis had been higher quality, I would have been willing to look past the issues. However, with the subpar service, long wait, and disappointing quality of the treatment itself, it was simply not worth the $200 I spent.

I wait for about 25 minutes on the massaging chair with my feet dipped in the water. The water was nice and warm, but after time went by, it got a bit cool. Or maybe my feet got used to the temperature and needed more warm water. Mary work on my pedicure. I got the Luxury Pedicure. She scrubbed the shit out my feet! To be real transparent, I had some dry callous that I wanted to get rid of (why I came in the first place) so I loved that she took her time and irked on my callous. Mary did an amazing job at removing my the callous. She used a foot shredder-looking tool and some callous softener. It was real nice. She used like 2-3 different oil and lotion to massage my feet and calves. I remember one of them was purple and it smelled very good. The Luxury Pedicure also came with hot stone massage. Hot stone massage was okay, until Mary used the warm rock and pushed it against the bottom of my feet-- it felt so nice and I had to tell her that it felt very good right then and there. After this, the service was followed by hot towel wrap on each claves and bagged wax for each foot. Mary went to work with another client who walked-in wanting to do their nails. The wait was quite long and I started to begin to feel unattended. The hot towels were now cold and I was starting to get cold because I had wet towels wrapped on each claves. Probably 15-20 minutes later, Mary came back. She was apologetic and thankful that I was waiting. I didn't mind, but it did got to me a little. I was getting cold and wanted my pedicure to be done already. She came to give me some more massages with oils and lotions. We chatted and it was cool. I felt pretty relaxed and cared for during the service, the wait in between was a bit too long & threw my mood off. If you're in a rush or have things planned for the day, I'd say schedule an appointment or just be aware that on a Sunday, there may only be two people working and service may take longer than usual. There is a $1 charge if you use card. Bring cash if you want to avoid that. I don't know if there are additional charges if you want gel polish, etc. I didn't get any polish with mines, just my preference. My total was $61. Overall, I had a good experience and I would come back here again.

So uneven, not drilled, disgusting nails. I am from out of town and am incredibly disappointed, I then had to go to target and buy my own drill to somewhat fix them.

Also, the acrylic was not properly placed over the nail fully and now the nails are coming up, bubbling up and cracking and my friends nail has now come off at a week and two days later when they should be staying on about three weeks in which she doesn't do any strenuous work that involve her hands. Also, when my best friend went to pay, they tried to hassle her out of her money to pull it out of a time machine and said that they would take off five dollars off of the 200 and something dollars that she owed and asked several times. What I really love about this place is that there is ZERO pressure to up-scale your pedicure. I've been to the other salons in town; the minute you sit down they hand you a book and pressure a more expensive pedicure with a lot of useless fluff. This place is appointment only and cash only. Don't waste your money here. Not only was the work sloppy, but she got lint into the polish and said nothing about it. She did not file my nails nicely. I came in with long nails and left with short ones because of how many times she had to fix the nail shape. I didn't notice the lint or how crappy the work was until I already left the salon. It took almost two hours so at the end I had to rush to a final dress fitting. Once I was in the sunlight I saw how bad my nails were. I called the salon, and they just wanted me to go back to get it redone, but I didn't have time since it was the day before my wedding so I didn't have any time to go back. Will never come here again. My nail job was so bad that my husband, who never notices anything, even pointed it out. BEWARE.
