Came in the day I'm leaving for my honeymoon (dumb, I know) and they were so accommodating for a gel pedicure. I came right at open and I was the 3rd customer - barely waited for a seat. It's a classic salon, but the work these folks do speak volumes. I got a deluxe gel pedicure and I'd say it was an average price point for the area - $60 and $15 extra for gel. I went in blind with cost but I went for convenience as it's 3 minutes from my home, but honestly worth it. My tech was awesome - making sure the gel on my toes was literally perfect. Got nails done on Thursday (2/1), pointer finger nail cracked and chipped same day. Was out of town for weekend--other nails started to chip/top coat was cracking throughout the weekend. Contacted salon via email on Saturday with my concerns. Did not hear back, booked appointment first thing Tuesday (they are closed Monday). Person who did my nails second time did a good job but don't think it is really fair they charged me twice (first time $38, second time $33 for polish change) when it was their product that did not last. Now, this is slightly on me as I should have read the prices better but, I got the following done and was there for about 1.5 hours and was charged $160: manicure, pedicure, eyebrow wax, and chin wax. I had not realized it was almost a $30 upcharge to do gel mani/pedi. I was disappointed in how much it cost compared to when I have been in the past as I did not realize how much they had increased. I would never go there to pay that price again. Furthermore, everything went fast. I was out within an hour or so. When I got home, I realized I still had quite a few hairs around my eyebrows and on my chin. My polish also started to chip within a few days, quicker than usual, so that was a bummer. It is a shame because this was the only nail spot I would go to. But, will not be happening again. read more

I walked in and they were very nice, they put me on a chair after being there for less than 5 minutes. I got a gel manicure and it was a decent price, also the person doing my nails was really nice and trying to have a conversation. I like how she did my nails (but it isn't hard to mess up gel) and the vibe at the salon was really nice. Also this picture is three days later, still look good!! read more

This is not a bad review of the salon. Whoever does your nails can make all the difference. Sorry I don't have the name of my tech but probably for the best. I got nail extensions and she glued them off to the side; it was not even covering my entire natural nail bed. When I politely asked if she could fix it, she was visibly annoyed. Once the dip and everything was "done", it was obvious that the nails were crooked and angled. Again, I asked politely is she could file them down a bit to make them straighter; she was very annoyed. I've been here multiple times and think it's one of the better salons in town, but today they dropped to a one star rating because of pretty terrible customer service. I came in with a $50 gift card that was expired, and they refused to accept it. A lot of states don't allow expiration dates on gift cards because somebody has given them cash in that amount for a service. It is already paid for, it is not a coupon. That reasoning didn't go anywhere with the owner and she said the only thing that she would consider fair was splitting the difference and giving me half the value of the gift card. It was obvious she wasn't going to budge, and even though I didn't think it was fair I gave in. So now my $35 pedicure basically cost $60. The poor girl who did such a great job on my nails though is the real loser in this because now the $10 I had to pay to make up the difference for the pedicure went there instead of for a tip. The reason I haven't use the gift card is because I moved away shortly before I received it as a Christmas gift, and do not get back into this area very often with extra time available for a pedicure. The fact that I'm not a regular customer anymore didn't exactly support my cause, but I definitely will not be back. read more

I hadn't been to VN Nails before. I called and was able to get in fairly quickly. The guy who did my nails was so friendly & welcoming. The other people coming in had all been there before. They were talking to the staff about new polish colors that came out and the guy said he ordered new colors because he knew this lady wanted them. (color changing polish...it looks cool) The salon was brightly light with no "nail salon" smell. I will continue to go here & will recommend them to everyone. read more

The best shellac manicure I've ever had. The man who did my manicure spent a lot of time taking off my old shellac to not damage my nails and cleaned up my cuticles. They have a ton of polish options including this cool metallic one I chose. It was $30 which is a pretty standard price but I feel I got much better service for the money compared to other places I've been. I'll for sure be back! read more

I've made a manicure appointment twice and both times they have completely disregarded it, and I had to wait more than half an hour while they finished treatments on other customers. Today I had a reservation with a friend and (after waiting 30 minutes) one woman worked on both of our nails at the same time (thus taking twice as long). I ended up not being able to finish my manicure because I was late for work and the woman still had the nerve to charge me. She did a rushed and unprofessional job finishing my friend's manicure. My girlfriend and I got the BEST pedicure we've ever gotten at this place. The most basic pedicure ($35) was so incredibly relaxing. I've never had a nail technician who was so meticulous to paint my toenails just right, no smudges or missing spots. They give you a fantastic leg and foot massage with this hydrating, exfoliating gel and then rinse off your legs with warm water after. They even used hot stones to massage our legs which felt AMAZING. Everything was very clean and the massage chairs were great. Definitely go here for your next pedicure!! read more

When I came back I requested a full set of dip nails and the woman who did my nails was also the owner. She put them on crooked and filed them crooked! When I went back two days later to ask her to fix them she refused to redo them. So I paid $50 bucks for something that turned out absolutely awful. I had never had my nails done before Monday, I decided to try it out with Channa from VN Nails and she was a delight! My natural nails had been shredded because I'm a nervous nail biter but she got them looking fantastic! She said if anything happened with them within the first week to stop back in- of course I broke two nails because my nail beds were so small, but she took care of me with no charge, wouldn't even accept a tip?! This is the nail place that I went to for a full set of nails. I asked for a set of dipped nails and they turned out absolutely awful they were crooked and shaped terrible. I went back in and told her ( the owner)how unhappy I was, and they said too bad we're not doing it over again!
