I was here in Madison on Holiday and from Florida. I Needed a fill-in & pedicure went to this place as a walk-in . From the moment I walked in the whole staff was friendly and engaging. The Woman who did my fill in was super sweet and we had a great conversation. She did a phenomenal job and very fast. Im horrible with names but none the less she was Great. Then a Young man did my pedicure . He was super sweet and thorough. Even very careful with a wonky nail bed I had an issue with. Good Luck to you in your school endeavors . You will do great . He had such a positive attitude. The place as a whole did a wonderful job. The whole experience was fabulous . Their whole staff seemed to be having a great time with each client. Horrible customer service. Had a 10:30 appointment for mani-pedi. Arrived 20 minutes before the scheduled appointment. Sat for 20 minutes in the lobby before being summoned to a pedicure station. Water bath was cold, couldn't get the staffs attention to warm it up. After 30 min of waiting for my pedicure to start I left VIP Nails. My time is important why have an appointment if you the business doesn't abide by them. I certainly didn't get the VIP treatment. read more

I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure before vacation. Me and several friends were quickly attended to (we had made an appointment several days in advance). The service was efficient; I was in and out in about an hour. However, the very next day my pedicure started coming off. Three days in and I had lost 5 toes of polish (not just small chips- the entire nail came off). By the end of vacation, there wasn't a trace of polish left. The manicure held up somewhat better, but after 5 days the ends of my nails started chipping, which I have never had happen after a gel manicure. This was the first time trying this nail salon, but I will not be back. read more

I went to VIP Nails for a new color on my dipped nails. The colors they showed weren't what I was looking for. He said he could customize it. All the while he was taking phone calls and checking out other customers. After it was on both hands I told him I didn't like the color. He said I should of told him earlier. VIP Nails did a great job on my nails and my maid of honor's nails for my wedding. My hands lasted at least three weeks they were the longer lasting polish. My feet lasted at least two months with the regular polish. I got a lot of compliments on my bridal look and the nails helped pull the look together! read more

I have gone 3 times now here and have gotten great service each time! I have had Danny do my nails and he is so great! He has great attention to detail and never lets me leave unless they look great! All the staff are light hearted and like to have a fun time. It is a relaxing environment and I don't feel like just another client like at most salons. I've been here several times now and can't say that I've ever had a bad experience. Today I went and felt like they did such an awesome job I had to write a review. Very thorough with the pedicure. and the nail designs/colors were exactly what I wanted. The 2 names that have done the best job in my opinion who I would recommend are Thea and Nari (sp?) Its obvious they are good by how busy they are. Appointments aren't mandatory, but I would recommend making one if you want to be sure. read more

I'm not a pampered kinda girl, but I do love me a good pedicure. What a great surprise to find VIP Nails practically right down the street. Not only are the technicians here very friendly, they know their stuff. This isn't a wham-bam-thank-you-mam pedicure, this is a sit yourself down for some serious toe pampering. Sure the massage chair are a little worse for the wear, but that's only a minor complaint. Of course cleanliness is a top concern at any mani-pedi shop and VIP Nails hits the mark. I always see the technicians sanitizing the foot spa tubs and all their tools. I've always had quality pedicures that last at least 2 months! read more

This salon is run by the same owner as the one in Madison, but frankly, it couldn't be more different. Spacious and clean, friendly and reasonably priced. I've been getting shellac manicures here for about 6 months and have only had one less than stellar service. It was quickly remedied with no hassle and it's super convenient to get an appointment. One word of caution, though- don't come for a "quick" service. The last time I was there for a shellac manicure and a regular pedicure, I was there for a full two hours. I was getting a little antsy by the end, but I'm satisfied. read more

This was my first time at this place. I was in town for work and they did their best to fit me in even though they were shorthanded. They were very nice and professional. The salon was neat and clean and had many choices for colors. I showed the woman a picture from Pinterest and she re-created it perfectly. This was the best fill I've ever had especially with regard to shape and length. I will certainly go back again and highly recommend them. read more

I have NEVER EVER been to a salon where people are SOOO rude, I believe the dude that owns the place is the worst! he told me after I watched him be sooo rude to customers that he did that because he did not want "that type" in his salon...........He is one of the MOST obnoxious people I have EVER met ( and I grew up in NY!!!) and, they don't do great mani/pedis either... spend your money somewhere else! This is a friendly nail spa. I drop in over lunch since I work nearby. They cover all the basics - mani, pedi, modern color choices. It's not super fancy, but it is clean, staff is nice and a pedicure is only $30. I've never had to wait for service and don't call ahead. read more

The women here are extremely friendly and do a wonderful job on manis and pedis for such a reasonable price! Not only that, they donate a large portion of their proceeds to building a school in Cambodia, which I think is amazing. HORRIBLE! I have been there three times now. The first time was great. The second time was terrible. Sloppy, rude, and rushed. I went back one more time to see if the previous time had been just a fluke. The third, and trust me, LAST time was even worse. Extremely sloppy, rushed, and overall terrible experience, and to make matters worse, when, halfway through the job I mentioned my concern about how sloppy my nails were turning out, they LAUGHED and told me I was "funny", but did not fix the issues. Although I agree with the other review that the salon is clean and large, my experience was not so good. They use old products which do not dry properly. It took two hours before my nails were dry. Also, I was bleeding after the manicure and my nails do not look even. I think you get what you pay for maybe. read more
