Staff is always friendly and have been going there for years. Went in for pedicure today and first time I've been disappointed. Process itself was good, but didn't do a good job painting the toe nails. Every toe wasn't painted fully and didnt notice till i got home.

This place doesn't waste much time on aesthetics but it's clean and efficient and they get the job done well! I had visited for pedis before and decided to try a manicure after my last place came under new ownership and went downhill. My nail tech was super friendly and offered great suggestions for fixing the poor mani I got at my old joint. My nails look fantastic for a great price. I will be going back!

Absolutely love this place! They are so welcoming and willing to accommodate their clients. They made sure to do my nails EXACTLY how I wanted them done and made sure I left happy. The prices are also VERY reasonable. Great work at a great price. If you want beautiful designs, be sure to see Boony, Nu Nu or Sara's they're the best . They also did a good job and safe distance place and sanitize.

My 11 yr old step daughter loves to have "girls days" with me whenever we have time. So we usually get manicures, some Starbucks and lunch. Just time to catch up. We moved to the East side recently so we needed a new nail place. Checked out Yelp for a well reviewed place with decent prices and settled on US Nails. I called the evening before and spoke to Bonnie. She helped me Make appointments for the following day. When we arrived, my daughter wanted nail art. Sara was all too happy to oblige her with the picture my daughter had on my phone. They did an AMAZING job. I got dip nail extensions and the kid got a gel manicure. Then she asked if we could also do pedicures, I figured it can't hurt to ask and of course the ladies were more than happy to accommodate us. Very nice pedicures with great massages. Super comfy massage chairs and a nice clean place. It was busy in there but most everyone was wearing a mask. For both of us to have gel manicures and gel pedicures, it cost $150. Amateur salon destroyed my nails. This was supposed to be "hard gel". And my nail just ripped off.

Got hard gel with regular gel on top at this salon and a few days later when opening the fridge my hand slipped and half my nail just ripped off. I could literally cry. Where the hell is the "hard gel"?! One lady put it on then left me sitting there and asked a young girl to finish it, and she had no idea what she was doing, the other lady had to tell her what to do but she obviously didn't get it because she filed off all of the hard gel until my nails were extremely thin and all the hard gel was literally gone, and now my nail just ripped in half. Also, my mani pedi took THREE HOURS. Yes, 3 straight hours. For a bad pedicure with a super short less-than-30-second massage, and a manicure from an amateur that destroyed my nails. STAY AWAY if you value your nails and your time!!!

Very friendly, high quality services and great prices. I discovered US Nails when I moved offices (they are almost next door to me now). I was shocked at how friendly and talkative all of the ladies are, it's a great change from my old salon where I sat in silence for over an hour every time. They are very open to hearing how I want my nails done and have always done a beautiful job. My dip nails last sooo long! I've definitely found my "forever" nail salon. read more

I got my toes done last October and I got a horrible nail fungus! To the point now I am losing my whole big toenail. I loved this place and have been going there 3/4 times a year for a pedicure over the last 5 years. In my whole life I have never gotten a fungus like this before. Now I don't ever want to go back even though I like the ladies that own/run the salon. read more

The technician just clipped my nails but didn't bother filing them afterwards. My nails were uneven and sharp. I would take a photo but I had to correct it when I got home because they looked so ridiculous. Shame on me for not doing a proper inspection before I left. That being said, it was crowded and it seems like they have a lot of regulars. I'm guessing that I just got the bad apple in the bunch. It was clean, and prices seem reasonable for the area. Absolutely the best nail place in Monona and one of my favorites in all of Madison. They are so friendly and willing to do whatever you want for your nails! My friend and I came here on NYE and I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted. We talked through a few ideas and the nail tech got out some tools I've never seen before in order to give me exactly what I wanted. I was SO impressed! It took a little time because she was so meticulous but that's exactly what I wanted vs a quick paint job. I'd recommend a reservation just so they can plan better. We also visited this past fall for wedding prep and they were the only nail salon in the area willing to accommodate our group. They just moved into the larger space next door and I'm so excited to see how they decorate and set up the new location!! read more

I have been coming here since moving to the Monona area a few years ago. I generally am a spur of the moment person so I am a frequent walk-in. The ladies are always so welcoming when anyone walks in the door which I appreciate. Everyone that has done my nails has done a great job. Pat has done my nails the most, and does a wonderful job. I was a walk-in, visiting from CT and had a broken nail. I was warmly welcomed and my nail was promptly fixed, and perfectly matched my other 9 French manicured nails. The owner was a delightful lady and we had a very pleasant conversation about driving to the east coast. Moreover she did not charge me. it's dirty and they treat you like shit if they make a mistake. I went there for cover a year always tipped very very high. one lady did a bad job and I had to twice get them fixed because they were falling off. I ended up getting kicked out by Sara. I tried to apologize even though I had no right to be thrown out and she ignored me and hung up on me 3 times. don't waste your time no matter how king you've been going there or hiw great a tipper you are Sara is crazy and mean and suck treat you like shit if you come in with your nails falling off. If you do go stay away from sara she's rude and nasty. Bonnie and Nunu are the only good thing in that place. They are very sweet and do a great job. Sara is the manager and She's extremely mean and treats everyone like shit. read more

Staff were all super friendly! Went in for just a manicure but then decided that I wanted a pedicure also, which they accommodated instantly and with no issue. They have a huge selection of high quality nail polishes! I love that they have a binder full of the gel polishes for you to browse through. I couldn't decide between two colors, so Bonnie was able to help me pick the perfect color! Place was clean, brightly lit, and decorated very modernly. Will definitely be back again! read more

Jess spent 2 hours doing my deluxe mani/pedi we did shellac French tip on toes and dip with the French tip look on fingers. My nails look great! I'll be back next time I'm in town! $110 before tip and I spend more then that at home in MI without dip so I felt it was worth it. read more

Was my first time & my last time going here. Went with my sister & her daughter who were visiting me. Felt like the service was rushed. My niece they didn't even lotion her hand or anything after.. my sister they didn't clean under her nails at all. Oh and also the best part my sister got one color & she didn't like it it after one toe so she asked the lady for the other color told her she didn't mind paying if she had to. Guess what. She painted over the old nail polish and kept it going instead of removing it and made a face when she asked. SUCH A JOKE. Bad customer service read more

I called for a 1st time appointment, to make a reservation for a gel manicure. The woman who answered spoke quickly, there was other noise, and she had a strong asian accent. I usually never have a problem understanding accented english, but I was having a difficult time understanding what she said. Instead of rephrasing the question, or slowing her speech, she just hung up. Unbelievably rude, I will share this experience when anyone mentions getting a manicure or pedicure in Madison. read more

I have found my new local nail salon! The prices were very good for Madison, $35 for Spa Pedicure. We were able to get appointments the same day and I'm pretty sure she squeezed us in. I usually go to Janesville to get this same price and so I'm super happy to find this nearby. read more

Today was my first time at US Nails & Spa. I got a dip manicure and normal pedicure. I called ahead and made an appointment. They honored it. I had a great experience with Chy. She was personable and did a great job. I was nervous by the poor reviews, but had a nice experience. The only reason for 4 not 5 stars: the place smelled of cigarette smoke. The owner seems to have a great idea of who is coming in and what needs to happen, but it could be a little communicated better. read more

Came in and was able to get right in. Everyone was nice no issues at all. The lady who did my pedicure I feel had somewhere else to be, which should of been there with me.. she did my pedicure from start to finish 17 min.. feet In mild warm water for 2 min, painful picking at toes for 5 Min, scrubbing 3 months of rough feet for a minute each feet.. get what I'm saying. I was so unhappy, I could of done better at home. I will definitely tell people about the poor quality. I love giving people a chance and give my support.. I should of saved the money $30 for some food and drinks across the street. read more

I've been getting my nails done by Bonnie for a long time and I'm never disappointed. I always do dip nails (shown in pic). One of the worst manicures I have ever gotten. My nail is crooked, my nails look like a toddler did them, they are literal clown nails and I asked for short and she was said no. At the end of the appointment she literally laughed and said "just look at them far away they look pretty then". AWFUL. I am so sad they were supposed to be for a special occasion. read more

Towards the end of the service, there was no effort to try to clean the excess build up under my nails, which was THICK! I realized I was being rushed as 'a regular' came in, and was immediately catered to, which I totally understand, but that shouldn't short change my service quality that much. The price was affordable, but I'd rather pay $5-$10 more for a quality result that lasts, and that I don't have to spend 30 minutes cleaning myself. Unfortunately, as a first timer, I wouldn't go back or recommend for drop in services. Perhaps going regularly with an appointment would yield better service and results.

My stylist explained to me it would just be my hair curled and then a Bobby pin to pull a front section back. My hair turned out nicely, but only if I knew that one Bobby pin cost me $25!!! I think that is a little unreasonable because if I were told that one Bobby pin would make my total $25 more expensive, I would have not paid for it. Also to mention that when I was checked in, nobody offered me anything to drink. This would not have been a problem if the lady checked in after me wasn't politely greeted, offered, and served a glass of water. Perhaps it was my age, but regardless, I am a paying customer. Considering I waited 30 minutes for my appointment to start, it was infuriating that somebody who waited 5 minutes got water in that short amount of time. My makeup did turn out nicely. And so did my hair! But perhaps being older would have made my experience more enjoyable.

Amazing service! Upon entering, I was greeted by the boss, and she is just the sweetest woman ever! She happily invited every customer that came in while I was there! The technicians are skilled and know what they're doing. They also effectively communicate with one another to make sure you're receiving the best service. The atmosphere is by far the best I've experienced.The staff interact with you in such a friendly manner that you feel comfortable and at home with them. I heard great things about the new owners of the salon from a friend so I decided to check them out. They did not disappoint! I love my nails! I'm hopeful that this is my new spot and that I don't have to drive all the way to the west side anymore. Check them out if you're near the Monona area.
